When you take the "Look Up" photo of the tree, did you use your phone's front or rear camera or did you use your DSLR or does it matter from a quality perspective? I love projects like this for the personal benefits of it but as I'm getting older and starting to acquire things from previous generations, I think about what I'm leaving behind for my kids to deal with and what they will care most about having/not having years down the road. Do you have any thoughts on this?
Pretty sure I used the rear camera for that looking up shot. And yes, I do think about it. My perspective is that I do these projects for me (my story is the only one I can tell + the only one who can tell it) because I enjoy the creative part of it AND I enjoy documenting life around me through words + photos. I have zero expectations that my kids should keep any of the things I've created and will tell them so. These are projects that are simply meaningful to me and that's honestly what matters most to me.
