I’m probably one of the few people who actually LOVE this foundation. At first I hated it bc it was way too cakey BUT I put a little bit of product on the back of my palm and grab a flat brush, i swipe a few stripes on my face (very light) in sections, and blend it out with a beauty blender, IT IS FLAWLESS. I look so perfect that I can’t stop staring at my skin. It’s about the technique for sure when it comes to using this product.
When I worked at sally beauty and we got the collab makeup line I was obsessed. I have like everything from them. It’s just so beautiful, pigmented, and easy to use. The eye shadows and liquid lipsticks are my favorites! 😍😍😍
My favorite eye base is actually the ABH primer. I love it more than my P. Louise. It definitely works best being applied with a brush. Its light as hell but it doesnt budge. At all.
The coverage is super full! I just tried it and i think i put on too much honestly. And it does dry down a bit darker youre right. I may need to mix it in with a lighter one.
I think it’s because I’m almost a 30 yr old lady *rawbeautykristy voice but I just hate the way full coverage foundations look on my skin granted I don’t have much to cover and my skin is damn near perfect and I look like an 18yr old but they accentuate texture that doesn’t even exist otherwise and sink into fine lines regardless of how little I use and whether I use a brush or sponge. Medium coverage foundations have just been doin me right, girl! 💁🏽♀️ Anyone else on the light/medium coverage wave?! I’M SO HERE FOR IT!
Our opposite side of our face non dominant side will always be a little darker in our makeup application. Especially the blush highlight and contour. It’s just using our dominant hand across our face. I try to always take a good look and take away or add. Depending on my mood but the left side always is a smidge darker... or as you say... gets more, love... 🥳

For eye primer, it depends on what i am putting on my eyes. If i am using pressed pigment, i will use my morphe eye primer or elf eye primer but for actual eye shadow, i LOVE the Ulta matte eye primer. I have tried that with pressed pigment and it makes it crease really bad (the blood sugar palette was my test palette) but holds my profusion or bh all matte..hell even my morphe palettes last ALLLLLLL day. I usually put on my makeup at 6am and wash my face for the night at about 9:30.
We are normally foundation twinsies so I’ve been waiting to see what shade you select! I got matched by the Smashbox team and they paired me to a 3.02, which is way too dark for me. Now I know they’re way off! 😩
Christian O not sure if you want a random person’s opinion but I have both and the Smashbox one is much better for me, it covers well and actually stays all day. For me the Maybelline one wasn’t actually full coverage and didn’t last at all!
