3:45 This definitely gives some insight into an old adage my mother used when I was younger and refused to let go of anger or was pouting about something. She would say “what’s wrong, have you got something stuck in your crop?”
Next up...watch a chicken pass through a human's digestive tract. Seriously, this was fascinating. Interesting how dirt and small rocks serve as way to pulverize and digest food. I always wondered if birds injest dirt and sand as they eat. Nature is so incredible if you just pay attention.
Very well done. I'm a nursing student and small farmer and am surprised at how similar this is to humans (minus the crop and a few other things), even down to the hormones used.
I thought this was a meme, but I'm still satisfied with my new knowledge of the avian digestive system Always wondered exactly how a gizzard worked, ever since I was a kid and read that dinosaurs had them and swallowed stones.

In my pigeon's mouth, especially, the baby sticks a white thick substance inside the pigeon's mouth. When it is picked up, blood comes out. Please tell, whats the story of them big puppys .....
All I see is food, we cook and make barbecue of that chicken digestive system including the blood. Whole chicken is food to us Filipinos. Only the feather is thrown away. Chicken gizzard stew is my favorite.
Umm an I the only one who noticed the difference between track and tract? I'm no med student but the beginning of this spells it track which is not pronounced tract, I'm no linguistics professor either so tell me if I'm wrong
