Synthpop noodling on YAMAHA Electone E50 with chorus

- Yesterday I finally repaired stuck pedalboard switch that got damaged during the move, and here's the test run - just some noodling with external chorus effect connected to the "aux" sockets of the Electone.
Man you are beyond talented
This E organ is from the last serie from the analogics Yamaha.
The sound is always caracteristic.
I notice that you use the sustain that I have used only one time in a video.

Another great song! I’ve been watching your videos ever since I discovered the Yamaha PASS organs and the mods forum. I’ve spent many hours trying to troubleshoot my broken E50. Hopefully I can get it fixed soon because it really does have a special sound!
Thanks :) And good luck with fixing your Electone! Initially I also planned to modify mine, but then I thought that it's nice for what it is. The only mod I did was replacing some resistor to extend vibrato speed range.
@@adamstan84could you answer one thing about your E50 for me? If you activate the lower keyboard percussion sounds, do they cancel out the lower orchestra voices? I don’t think this is true, but I’m really struggling to figure out why none of my lower orchestra is working… Seems like something is keeping them disabled.

Percussion sounds shouldn't disable orchestra voices. They will get disabled (or rather disconnected from keyboard control) when you activate ABC(chord) mode or arpeggiator. Perhaps in your case it's the latter? In the arpeggiator section, you have switches for orchestra and flutes - they remove those sounds from the keyboard and make them play arpeggio sequence.
