When you’re going for Drift Tuning make sure you upgrade the Engine, Transmission, and Turbo first or else you’ll be much lower in power.
It actually does, hella flush checked it out and the car with upgrades before applying the drift tune are faster

The ZR350 is my favorite so far because of how controllable it is and how precise your movement can be. The handbrake is extremely useful for extended the drifts and keeping the angle I want. It’s just great.
I think its because its not so long car
I’ve used all of the drift cars and i can confidently say that the ZR350 is unmatched
I've been loving the Drift Tampa and the Remus, the ZR350 is definitely a favorite as well though. I'm just really happy with this update and it makes me hopeful for GTA 6.
Did you upgrade the brakes before drift tuning or no?
Better upgrade everything before drift tune
I was so happy to find out i can actually drift my ZR350 without getting a headache with the low grip tires and lowered suspension, if you can handle that kind of build, thats cool.
My top 3 drift car choices:
1.Fathom FR36 - Most stable and easiest car to drift. Agile car, although it's on the heavy side, which i think personally makes the car even smoother on entrys and transitions.
2.Annis Remus - Excellent car too, but requires a bit more aggressive driving style. Not as good as FR36, but only a slightly.
3.Annis ZR350 - Slightly worse than Remus, tends to understeer sometimes. You just need to drift it like a maniac and the car will love it.
All and all the differences are very small but once you are on the limit and test enough these cars, you will notice them.
I hope they add wayyyyy more drift tracks cus I’ve done all of them multiple times. Haven’t been addicted to this game in a while till now
The community needs to start making drift tracks
Wings, front bumpers, rear bumpers, and sideskirts DO AFFECT HANDLING! I was testing all kinds of cars with drift tires last time we had the snow map. Having the perfect setup of front and rear bumper, right size spoiler for the car, and having side skirts, or not made the difference between spinning, or not spinning. You would be surprised how stable some cars can get once you out the time in to test different combinations too see what’s best. It will help in dry conditions, all the way to snow. Stable drifting at any speed and less spins when driving fast
This update is gonna be a one of the best for the car community they are adding drag racing in the next few weeks with manual shifting and gameplay like nfs prostreet drag
Another difference too, their wheelbase. I much prefer driving the Futo GTX because its the shortest wheelbase so it feels more nimble and light to drift. The new G35 feels heavy and long in comparison.
I’d like to see an option in the car interaction menu to turn on\off the drift tune so if u don’t wanna drift but use the car u don’t have to buy another one or pay to take the drif tune on or off

The Yosemite is my fave, it feels 'heavy' like extra heavy and that for me makes weight transfer and balance easier. Also it's really satisfying to reverse entry and of course that LS v8 exhaust note is unparalleled.
Edit: also due to its longer wheelbase (the tampa shares this characteristic) its easier to get sideways without your backend becoming your front end. It may be slower but slower isnt necessarily a bad thing imo.

Rockstar say that the engine mods on the car dont apply after adding the drift tune but it seems like the mods do apply

It's because the upgrades before you put the drift tuning on actually effect the car even tho r* said they don't so no one upgraded the f32 and most the other cars they had were already upgraded

i swear the performance upgrades still act even if hidden after applying drift tunes. Im waiting for more to confirm this tho
DO ADD ENGINE, TRANSMISSION AND TURBO UPGRADES BEFORE BUYING THE DRIFT TUNE. It says it’s overrun when you add the tune but it isn’t, multiple tests have been done by multiple people and the results are all the same, I wasted 2m having to re upgrade all my cars and there is a fairly significant difference, the only thing to not worry about are the brakes as they do change with the drift tune.
I actually really like the drift tampa and drift yosemite. AWD can do some crazy angle

I'm pretty sure the ones you're complaining about are slower because you havent upgraded the engine transmission and turbo prior to the tune. They actually make a difference, although they shouldn't
Try double tapping the ebrake before your revs get too low. It overrevs to help save you, or downshifts in some situations
At the end of the day it’s depends if you understand drift physics. But the uros is the best for for timers.
Now they added drift handling it’s finally time to retire the rapid gt with shot out rear suspension I’ve been running since 2016
If you play on PC you can add phonk or eurobeat ingame through self radio, +100 speed and you will hold your angle better

You can go in the carmeet and calp cars in through the mechanic, also what do you think the snow is gonna do to these beauties if the rain makes them slide more what will the slippery snow do? Lol. I am building remakes and actual drift builds for them.
Well Blk Pnthaa tbh id say the either the hoonitruck or Hoonigan Car. But imo the ones mentioned above are all great in they own way.

The fact that they diden't change the nebula turbo to a drift is just crazy
it was de bunked if you upgrade your car before u put the drift tune on it it keeps the modifications

You can do the performance upgrade before and it still count after drift upgrade even if the stats are the same
The question is do neon kits still affect handling? I tried it out on the 370Z and it seems to still do that.
My car is acting stubborn around the corners. Just add neon kits on the front and if it's too twitchy at it on the sides or rear.
Y’all need to learn camera handling and best player view for drifting. U can’t drift well without them

For some reason ultra blue makes your car heavier
I had my hopes up for this update but the handling is awful, the drift tune converts the car to 4WD, cars feel like they are lifted above the ground and on ice, even NFS Underground 1 drift events had less arcady physics than this

@GanjaScotty yah, I have only played gta online like 3 or 4 times, but I remembered seeing theo buy a shark card when he wanted to buy an 8 mil yacht so I thought he either doesn't play it much anymore or it's hard to make that amount in game
Best ones out of all of'em are thee G35, RX-7, and AE86, and maybe the Silvia. Others are not soo good.
