I have a dear friend in Kyiv and am somewhat relieved to see this video filled with freedom and joy. However I have also seen a lot of other videos showing the opposite of this. Those young men may be the next to be sent to the front lines of war. I have no idea how I would handle living during a war like this since, here in the US, we have no experience with an invasion and subsequent ruthlessness and death that comes with war. If you are judging their joy, or upset about the US helping to defend Ukraine, then I encourage you to also consider how you would choose to live if you were in the same situation. In the US we live in a bubble. What if that bubble were to burst? Life during war is horrible yet these people are living the best that they can. Celebrate that they can be joyful. Be inspired even. Just don’t be bitter….unless you want to trade places with them.

I hope you all have a great safe time together, hopefully that whole mess will be over before too much longer. I'll keep praying for you all, Jesus/Esus loves all of you.
My return to Ukraine in September can't come soon enough. My experience there last summer was profound beyond anything I could have imagined. Yes, the people are absolutely amazing in the face of relentless russian brutality and continuing war crimes.
There sure are a lot of young men hanging out with their friends or dancing outside of a nightclub for a country that is supposed to have an acute manpower shortage on the front lines. Are most young men there dodging military service?
They are playing victims asking for foreign help, so others die for them in the meantime the ones that are supposed to be frontline are instead partying on the streets
It's very sad to see this! Most of the country having fun, drinking, dancing and walking around, others dying on the front in the tranches in the mud. All the solders should go home and see what happens, looks like they dying for nothing. Or all of you should go to the front and see what Russia would do? When millions of people are standing on the front with no arms... But this is a joke! Some having fun like nothing going on, others dead or will die for what?? Anyway in few years all will be friends again, like in the Yugoslav wars.
Hypocrisy at highest level. And they dare to ask for help from other countries. So others die for them meanwhile Ukrainians are having parties and enjoying their lives on vacations
Kyiv looks so beautiful! It was great to see people out and about and enjoying life. This is how all Ukrainians should be able to live. I love how your city has so many walkways and sidewalks for pedestrians and so many people are out there walking and enjoying the night life. I don't see that in North America. Slava Ukraini!
It is sad when you think these young people will be recruited and will be send to the war. Wars are not decided by the young people. Stop the war! Peace to the world!
???? Why do people when walking together, walk in unison? I have noticed that with the Japanese videos, it seems weird, @3.57 is pretty well much how we here in Australia walk as people when we're walking with friends, we don't care.
I do not understand why, with the very existence of Ukraine in question, these guys are not in uniform and armed for war. In WW2 USA any young guy not in uniform would be harassed endlessly. If and when China declares war on my country I would expect all men and many women to enlist. I would be retreaded, I am in good enough shape.
You have nuclear weapons. If you engage in direct war with China, it will most likely mean the end of humanity. So, I don't want that to happen. As for Ukraine... Ukraine lost its nuclear potential. If we had it, there wouldn't be any war. And our corrupt government, over the last 30 years, has done so much that we don't even have regular missiles or planes left. NATO didn't accept us, even though we wanted it. You can't understand how terrible the situation is for Ukrainians. It's not the youth of Ukraine who should be fighting this war, but those miserable old men, their fathers, and children who have been ruling for the last 30 years and doing everything to weaken Ukraine. Including in the USA. Why not let the youth make their own choice? You had wars too, and not everyone participated. Some fled to Canada, others took a principled pacifist stance like Muhammad Ali. But you never had closed borders or men being kidnapped in broad daylight. What you see on the screen is only Kyiv, an illusion of comfort, one big place that doesn't reflect what exists in other small towns. In small towns, thousands of men have been taken. The army is unreformed and shares the same problems as the Russian army. When our soldiers stormed Robotyne without aviation, your general said he would never send troops without air support. Your army has better social security and better conditions. So don't compare our countries. We are a country whose fate is constant tragedy. We endured the Holodomor. Than, in World War II, the war rolled over Ukraine twice, and the territory of modern Ukraine suffered more than any other country in the USSR. Now we have this Russia. But Ukrainians want to live and create. Our generation has not known comfort. Our parents lived in the USSR and were rewarded with poverty. So, don't compare our countries.
Because they are expecting foreign help to fight frontline for them and in the meantime their own young people are partying in the streets having their best lives
Thanks to everyone who fights on the front, others can live well. That is true sacrifice and exactly what the soldiers are fighting for. And thanks to videos about Ukraine, we who watch can send aid to help the fight against the war criminal z nation Donate to United24 😊

Interesting. Thank you.
What a beautiful City.
💙💛🇺🇦👍
Kyiv looks so beautiful! It was great to see people out and about and enjoying life. This is how all Ukrainians should be able to live. I love how your city has so many walkways and sidewalks for pedestrians and so many people are out there walking and enjoying the night life. I don't see that in North America. Slava Ukraini!
❤
Brady Place
Not that bad.
But there’s a curfew, no?
From midnight till 5 am
@@Olga_Reznikova Those are prime nightlife hours.
It looks like it's getting more lively on Kreshchatyk Street now.
I haven't been there in a year.
Night life with Olga in Ukraine! Good luck all the best Ukraine! Rudi.
hi
Zelensky is pure evil
Thanks to everyone who fights on the front, others can live well. That is true sacrifice and exactly what the soldiers are fighting for. And thanks to videos about Ukraine, we who watch can send aid to help the fight against the war criminal z nation Donate to United24 😊
it's not what the soldiers are fighting for. Kyiv and Lviv shame.
Ukrainians citizens should be fighting not having fun in the streets while foreign help are dying for them frontline. Hypocrisy at the highest level
I hope this video goes viral, especially on the senate floor, next vote on foreign aid, y'all don't seem to be in need of US dollars anymore.
Your incredibly incorrect.
@@farrellware8399 perhaps, however videos like this one are not going to help convince the American taxpayers, not to mention, the opposing side using videos like this in propaganda to convince people that you don't need help.
Blinken was last week in Kyiv and go to sing in local bar;)
@@Olga_Reznikova he's just a secretary, he doesn't vote on bills😁
Fun time in Kiev.
Don’t get mad but are you still married just wondering you have your ring in middle finger you still look beautiful take care
When was it filmed? There are no leaves on the trees. In Russia, they show a different Kiev. There is no one on the streets. Men are caught like stray dogs and sent to war.
don't fall for so much propaganda
Modern Western Civilizations in Kyiv.
First one to watch👌
I visited Kyiv in 2017 and it was so beautiful ❤.
