This is another quick-tip video, this time, about the gate input on the Chord-Key module from Impromptu. The Chord-Key is a great module for creating chords and chord progressions, and it has also a polyphonic gate input that allows you to use various gate sources to gate each note separately, and by that create unique rhythms.

Great info, thanks for sharing.
Glad it was helpful!
nice one ! it's like making a very advanced arpeggiator :p
Yeah, there's so much to explore with this...
Awesome! I was looking for a chord module apart from note-seq and I especially appreciate how it has individual controls for each key. It’ll make chord inversions much easier when I need them in the future😄
Glad I could help!
Very useful!

Black Theme for VCV Modules possible only in VCV PRO?😒
@danspound It's in the free version too, go to the View menu and choose the bottom item, "Use dark panels if available (experimental)".
Exellent! Big Thanks!@@dantenenbaum6288
Hey Omri, bought your beginner modular course, very very good helped me a lot. I have a question in regards ro hybrid though. Do you have a tutorial or in a course that shows how to set up the expert sleepers es-3 in daw and on rack? I saw you have a video on it but it doesnt show step by step how to set up in daw and say use vcv rack vcos to run through rack unless i missed this? Thank you 🙏
Hey, that's great! Thanks so much :) I haven't used the ES3 in a long time... How do you have things setup? What are you trying to do that doesn't work.
@@OmriCohen-Music i understand i was planning on getting an es-8/9 but i have a good interface for recording and didn’t want to switch out. Honestly i jumped into it without really knowing how to use it at all. I was told i can use vcv rack vcos to run into my fx eurorack as i dont have an hardware vcos. Wanted to run audible plaits, clouds, rings into my morphagene, mimeo, and data bender but not exactly sure how to even set it up.
Proper
Cheers!
