VERY INFORMITIVE. I HAVE A 1990 JEEP WRANGLER AND THANKS TO YOU FOR WNING A NEAR YEAR JEEP I GET TO REP THE BENIFITS OF YOUR VIDEO, THANKS. MY JEEP IS GETTING BETTER EVERY DAY. YOU ROCK!!!!
Hdyro dip the valve cover, you can choose any color and/or design. Hydro dip film will resist the engine temps too. Check into it because you can do this all yourself. There are kits of film and activator for small jobs online.
great video and i like all your YJ videos. I have a 90 4.2 L 6 cylinder YJ and my valve cover looks NOTHING like yours... could the 4.2 L cover be that different or maybe something else was done to my Jeep's engine that I am not clear on. Thanks man
How do you get the Fel-Pro gasket to stay in place while you tighten down the head? There's no channel for it to lay in on the engine, and if i try to fit it to the valve cover channel it just falls out during install. The video makes it sound so simple but when i put it together the seal doesn't just fall into place. I'm tempted to use a couple dabs of grease to hold it to the head while i install.. ?
Could you please give part number for your PCV valves? I ask because mine twist and pull like yours but I’ve only found the type that pull straight out. I have a 1994 project and your videos have been great! Thank you VR,
HI jeep solid, how different is the 1992 yj from the 1991 yj ?? and will you ever show how to change the u joints in the steering hub ? and the upper and lower ball joints next to it ?? By the way ; i saw your manifold video , i dont think i'll venture to far into that ( even thow it needs to be replaced )
+Giovani22 91-92 are essentially the same. Engine changed from 4.2L to 4.0L in 90-91. I have some videos on U joint replacement on driveshaft, but will be making more... Manifold replacement isn't that bad. You can easily do it in a day, unless you have to film it... Haha..!
Bros been helping me through every YJ install

Does your rear ccv have the small metering hole in it? Im trying to find a replacement and all i find is the front ones.
Is there a part two to what you cleaned ?

Rattle can Blue. Give it some pop under the hood. Great video
+AZ WESTSIDE WHEELERS 4x4 CREW Thanks Westside! That would look good!!
Would love to see some more videos on you working and cleaning up the head.
+Nathan Clodfelder I hope to get to that soon. Thanks for watching.
You skipped over the rear vent elbow! How does that one come off?
Just curious if you might have a video on replacing sway bar and link bushings for yj?
+Michael Webb Not yet, but hope to do soon!
+Michael Webb I have videos of measuring for shocks. Sway bar removal in there. Don't have bushing video yet.

VR,
They look the same as mine. believe he used: Crown Automotive 53030492 and 53030591 PCV Valves for 91-93 Jeep Wrangler YJ.
VHT Wrinkle Plus - Black
+Tim Kelly Good idea!! Honestly, I was prepared for a lot of 'powder coat' votes. Figured viewers wouldn't worry about my budget. Haha..
