Hi sir, i dont understand why in part e, you did not use addtion but multiplied the probabilities? Im confiused when do you use addition and when to use multiplication in probabilities.
@@sammyboy2068 when u are finding the probability of one particular outcome then you multiply along the branches.... when you combine the probabilities of different outcomes together thats where you add
Why would you divide by 6? You need to go back to basics and learn how to find the mean from a frequency table and then hopefully you will get it... Watch this ua-cam.com/video/yl_s5gL4BW4/v-deo.html
Your explanation is very clear. Thank you

and in part f, you added up probabilit of (2,2), (3,3).......(6,6), why not multiply?

i don't think 2,2 could be used in f since the game ends when the spinner lands on 2
Carry on watching till the end
bro think he him 😂
You explain in the best way. Thank you so much!
Sir why did you multiply with 5 in part d why is it 5a+5b=3 but not a+b = 0.6?
Simple solving of Simultaneous equations... i want to make the a in each equation have the same coefficient so I can eliminate the a and solve
