Had westies for over 35 years, I'm now 70, Pip, Dan, Holly and Abby , sadly Abby will be our last, over the last few months she has started to have problems with her back legs, it's heart breaking , but we've loved every one of them.....
This is the only baby in the world for me. I always have and always will have Westies. There are no better babies on earth than the sweet Westie. I had three and now I'm down to one. Love them!!
Oh my gosh who are you telling my sweet angel just went to heaven about a week ago and I said I wasn't going to get another dog but I love him so much I want another Westie although he cannot be replaced but I love the spirit of the Westie they are so spunky
What a fantastic feisty wee girl Mina is! A darling. Reminds me of our Jordi who we lost after a short illness at the start of the year. Now just about over the grieving and ready to look for a new Baby Westie to brighten my Life.
She’s adorable. I lost my Mina a few months ago, she was a lovely little girl, wanted to friends with anyone, she also had a passion for handbags, when my girlfriend came round or anyone with an handbag she’d be in it like a shot, sniffing and having a good rummage and then she’d drag the bag to her basket. She had bowel cancer that spread to her stomach, I was gutted when I had to let her go, but at least she isn’t in a pain now. I took her everywhere I went, she was my little girl and miss her so much.
I wish you to recover from your loss that was painful and sad. Sending you my most positive energy to help your sad experience to subside. Merry Christmas Andrew Hesling ! ! !
Lost my westie Mr. Bingley to cancer as well. Miss him so much, may get another dog someday but not yet. You cant replace family. But you can fall in love again. Maybe.
I'm so sorry for you! I really hope you will overcome your pain - I know that very well. I have also lost my german shepherd dog more than eight years ago and I still have sometimes tears in my eyes when I think of him...
I know this is old but I wanted to say that I'm 76 and have a beautiful new baby Westie of 14 weeks. I also have a 7-year-old after my 17-year-old passed last year. The challenge is a wonderful one as it's been with each of my many Westies. As long as I know she has a safe and loving place to go to should she have to leave me for some reason, my life is enriched and livened each day she wakes me with sweet licks and nibbles. I can't run with her but we can fill each other's lives fully in so many ways. 💕
I remember when my Mina was a baby, sadly I lost her to bowel cancer a year and a half ago, she was 14 years old, such a lovely kind natured little Westie. I do so miss her. Xxx
Westies need a lot of attention there a special breed ❤not designed for everyone I miss my Westie he used to chase me when I vacuumed he & dig up holes in backyard; when he smelled moles underground
Yes...we share our home and lives with a wee white wonder too. Our Westie is a little girl and quickly stole our hearts with her incredible energy and loving personality. She gladly puts the run on every living thing in our yard, teaching them "how to fly" (at least how to get themselves off the ground into the air) and burns circuits around the yard like a teenager on chocolate ! She also makes our male Tonkinese cat "disappear" in a puff of silver-grey smoke launching himself into his disappearing act much faster than any Hollywood magician ! Our wee white Highland Lass occupies our home and hearts every waking day......!
My little girl puppy does the same thing to her big brother sometimes I have to break it up I get paranoid I be thinking he might hurt her cuz she's only 2 months old she bite his ears and his lip is leg it is so cute sometimes thank you for sharing that video now I'm not so afraid thank you
Unser westi ist schon 11 Jahre alt und mit Abstand der hübscheste den ich je gesehen habe. Hat ein Flappöhrchen behalten und war und sah genauso aus wie Mila. Wurde damals auch ständig für ein Mädchen gehalten. Er sollte Nachfolger haben...nur haben WIR keine Züchterlizens und kein Weibchen 😂
Looks like you don't brush on a regular basis..I have a gorgeous westie I keep a hair cap over his eyes but cut the hair on his nose so he can see..I keep him natural but some grooming and it's important to brush them and keep their eyes and feet clean.you fixed up a nice area for them but no way would I give my dog a bloody raw bird to chew on
