Finally saw J. Daniels play the way they been saying he could. He threw the ball with confidence and conviction. I don't what got into him, but it was sure was great to see him hook up with Bouttee on several occasions, and would like to see more of it.
Part of it was just that he was going up against a high school level defense

Especially in the 4th you could feel the momentum change. But we did enough to win.
One of the reasons J. Daniel's left Arizona State University was to get national recognition as a dual threat qb so he joined LSU which is in the SEC conference. J. Daniel's is super talented but he needs to be super consistent. Great win and a great performance tonight.
He had national recognition with ASU....that's why he's with LSU. Coaches knew about him.

I remember WRs running into each other instead of blocking on a screen pass. I remember playcalling being bad, I remember penalties on TD passes, etc.
@@malcalmplanter7068 wouldn't have mattered, Tennessee is just having a 2019 type of year. If LSU would have scored 40, the Vols would scored 50. Only teams that stand a chance against Tennessee this year is Georgia and Ohio St.

Gator fan here. FL and LSU always put on a good game against each other. It's a very underrated rivalry. All time head to head tied 33-33-3. Doesn't matter what the standings are, either team can win. LSU has our number the last 13 years.(3-10). Hopefully tides will shift in the next few years. Go gators.

This was an entertaining game to watch but neither team was very impressive - both look like they've got a long, long ways to go if they are ever going to get back to being Top 10 programs like they are accustomed to. Both look like 6-6 or 7-5 caliber teams at best.

@@bredust29 that was an obvious roughing the passer, #9 took multi steps after watching the QB throw the ball. Yet #9 decided to bear hug the QB and flatten him with all of his body weight.
Thank you! In what fricking universe is that not a forced fumble? They massively blew that call, and several others. No excuse for refs at this high of a level can completely botch calls even WITH the obnoxiously long reviews. The worst one was the amazing catch by Thomas. They need to be removed, I’m sick of watching these dipshits change it at least attempt to change the outcome of games.

and with this new coach, young OL, etc., this team is 5-2 under coach Kelly in the VERY competitive SEC & SEC West. one thing people do NOT have is patience, and at coach Kelly's salary, not much patience is given, but it does take TIME for players to gel together.
where's the crew screaming, "put in Nuss?" this team is moving in the RIGHT DIRECTION in a very short time (minus special teams blunders). and imo, this is a FAST turnaround considering how bad-off coach O left the LSU locker room.

It was a nice run by Richardson @8:00 but man, did LSU take that play off. Guys didn't look like they were running very hard after him and when they did, they made no real effort to tackle him. LSU's defense played pretty well all night, that was an embarrassing outlier.

I agree with all of you but Saban in rematch games is ridiculous. Bama played poorly, had 17 penalties and only lost because of missed FG. Bama always gets second chances in title games. It's bs but i can see thrm winning sec championship

Kinda wanted to see the interception that was called back for roughing the passer. Didn't get to see the replay. Calls we're super inconsistent this game. The 2 LSU catches that we're reviewed looked like the calls should have been flipped. One was a catch and was called incomplete and the TD catch, the receiver seemed to have used to ground to secure the ball but it was still called a catch. Either way, congrats to LSU! it was a fun game to watch. Go Gators! 🐊
Yes the officials favored LSU indeed, and still Gators were closing the lead, but the officials wasn't having it, and got cheated out of a interception/turnover. Bad officiating throughout the game.

The editing around 7:10 is really poor. We see a reception by a Florida receiver, a flag, and then the next thing they show is LSU with the ball on the opposite end of the field. Check out the channel "Wheels" for great game editing. Surprised by how poor this ESPN channel is with showing the flow of the game.
Another good UF-LSU game. We all know if it weren't for that bogus roughing call the Gators were going down and tying it. Had all the momentum and defense finally made a play. But after that our D probably would have given up an 80 yard drive with a FG as time expired🤣

Really sucks that the refs blew this game toward the end, would’ve been insane to see the Gators make that crazy comeback after the big interception.
The gators coaching staff is doing AR an injustice. His RPO sucks, you can see exactly where the ball is going, that’s coaching! that’s why his designed runs are being snuffed out. AR is a wild horse but the coaching staff is breaking him.

If it wasn’t for that roughing the passer call, then that interception would’ve counted and we would have an opportunity to tie up the game. That’s just one reason why flags can be a killer to a team but, it didn’t show it because it wasn’t a highlight.
