Thanks! After watching this, I just tore down my Campbell Hausfield I got at Walmart probably 20 years ago. Cleaned it and oiled the parts while I put it back together. It'll remove lug nuts again... Before, it would only do that if I broke them lose first. Just wish I'd watched this BEFORE roatating tires a couple weeks ago the hard way!
Thanks for this video, I bought an Impact wrench just like this from an lady next door, that was cleaning her basement out after her husband had passed away, and she did not know if the air tools I bought worked or not, well the impact wrench was doing the same thing as yours blowing air and not working, I will try cleaning it and see if it improves its function.
Great video! Thanks. $50 bucks now at Harbor Freight. Covid. Of course it's Covid. We are ALL going to be paying extra for Covid for the next 100 years. At 75, I'll just go buy my last ever impact wrench. My problem is the trigger. It's stuck in the "Always On" position. The only way to stop it is to push that chrome button "thingy" on the back and the front. Thinking of buttons, my wife has a cute innie belly button!
I have a husky brand one that came with a 10 gallon compressor. It’s releasing air out by the trigger even tho it’s still working. But I feel like it’s not suppose to release any air from it to make it work. I have to see if I still have the receipt as Home Depot has a 3 year warranty on pneumatic tools according to their website (HD owns husky). If not I’ll be giving this a shot. Thanks for the video.
Ok air tool oil just goes in through your air line. Most oil bath impacts call for 30W non detergent oil to lubricate the hammer mechanism. Air tool oil is for the motor and 30W for the hammer mechanism
just cleaned up thee old Mastergrip I got from Costco for like what $30 almost 30 years ago? good heavy stuff haven't used in it 10 years or more the 1/2" impact was frozen a good cleaning and she purrs like a kitten minimal wear compared to many others i have seen here online.. I'll have to get into the 3/8ths that came with it see if its spinning, prolly needs a good cleaning, darn I forgot tool the bearings before I put it together, dangit .. they get a thicker oil at first, maybe slosh 30 weight around in it then drain it? ah I might as well take it back apart do it right
i had one of the same couldnt get one of the ends to go back in ,the one in the middle i tried many times and got mad at it so beat on it now its junk..lol..
"If is not broke, fix it until is broke"...😅😅...soo funny...my kind of philosophy 🤣

I did the same thing, I added Lucas oil stabilizer, just a little, what a difference, thank you for the post.
Good idea! I didn't think about an oil additive.
Fix it until it is broken. Good one. Liked the video.
Thank you that will help when I have to do the same thing. Great job.
Thanks buddy, I've just bought one of these cheap, it's got low power so I'm hoping a good clean will work wonders like yours did!
Yeap, another happy customer, worked great...Mine was so, bad it didn't want to come apart, spent more time getting it apart....
Thanks, just fixed mine using this video. I though it was going to be a bin job.
Glad it helped. Thanks for watching!

I hope it works for you. Thanks for watching.
Thank you so much! I lubed mine with power steering stop leak... it really killed the gun but now I see what to do. Thanks
Could u show me more of the trigger, because it seems like mine there is air escaping and therefore doesn't want to turn...

Nice and simple. Thanks!
Same thing happened happen to me and manage to fix it myself watching the video.
Nice video. I have one just like 👍 t and it works great, but the forward reverse selector is loose and moves out of place.
I like your video soo much
Thanks for sharing.
Got the same gun and took it apart but can’t get it back together so far. It was squirting oil out when in use. Weak pressure
Thanks a lot for doing that I really like your video
My pleasure!
Looks similar to a Campbell hausfeld impact, they might sell rebuild kits.

I know someone with that same philosophy, I have to fix all their broken stuff.
I bought the same impact at GoodWill for $5 but it blows air through the exhaust and I’m going to try this
The hammers have to have a film of grease on them or they will not work right. Looks like the air tool oil diluted the grease out of the hammers.
My wrench is blowing air and Not working, soñé ideas? It stopped working after water entered it, but it has already been disassembled and cleaned
I’m getting blow by on that exact gun it’s never been used before it’s been oiled any suggestions thank you
Thank you very much sir
Thank you for sharing.
If I get an air impact gun I will definitely do my best to make it run better

Only a couple drops of oil not till it flows out
Use blaster air tool lubricant it’s the best way to go

Did you check the alignment of oil ports?
What size compressor are you using
Please refresh
How much oil
Machine ka paath Kahan milega
We have same machine but it not working what can we do
Probably needs a rebuild. I doubt you can get a rebuild kit though. Best bet would probably be to replace it.
Take it apart and see
Stick with ir or real CP
What air pressure do you run that air gun at? 90psi?
Yes, 90psi.
I run at 160 and it is very powerful
Just keep oil in it to last a life time
