I attempted this hairstylist twice, today was the second attempt.... Still couldn't do it. So I simplified it, I have long hair and I made 4 boxes on each side and made the criss crosses. The back I made a bun, and that is that. Your hair is beautiful I wish I could have done it just like yours.

In the back did you start your twist with the rubber band first ?
No, the parts were random I just started twisting from the root.

I'm kinda nervous cause I don't know if the rubber bands that are tightly to the hairs will damage my hair

Add slight hair oil to the rubber bands. Keeps band from breaking and hair.

+Michelle J I didn’t part out the back in squares or in a particular way. I just carved chunks of hair out with my fingers and then twisted them.
