Titir asks Disha to click her picture with Nikhil. Titir gets annoyed when Nikhil asks Shyama to click a picture with them. Later, Basanta informs Rukmini that Shyama will sit beside him during Radha's show in North Bengal. Shyama gets upset on recalling Titir and Nikhil spending time together.

The protagonist of the tale is a dark-skinned girl named Shyama, who aims to eradicate the shame associated with color. She marries Nikhil and experiences prejudice because of her skin tone. She embarks on a quest to forge her own identity as a gifted vocalist. Shyama thinks her skin tone is similar to Lord Krishna's. Following her marriage, she pursues a career in music, which completely transforms her life. Although Shyama's mother-in-law despises her, over the course of a few years, she grows to love her and even lets her sing.
