    I bought an Aldi 20v (20v/40v) tyre inflator and compressor/deflator for around £17 for the pair in a kit.
    The compressor inflates and deflates the air awning in no time and the tyre inflator inflates the car and caravan tyres.Neither needs any cables or plugs or wires as it runs off a 20v or 40v/20v Aldi battery which also runs my Lawnmower/Strimmer/Angle grinder/impact driver and combi drill. Also the tyre inflator has the LCD screen so you can see the current PSi (or whatever unit you choose to see) and then with a few button pushes set it to whatever you need to inflate your tyre/football/bike tyres etc to. Pull the trigger amd in no time its done.
    The air compressor/deflator also has various nozzles for different size air awnings etc.
    Far cheaper at around £17 and no USB or 12v sockets to find when the USB runs out of charge.
    With the 20v battery connected it would probably do most cars in my street and its never ran out of charge and has a 3 year guarantee and the metal quick release clip.

    I’ve got an Argos Guild cordless tyre inflator which also has a cigarette lighter attachment and to be fair it’s been absolutely brilliant. Currently in Argos for £45

    Nice one Dan, I was given a 12v tyre inflater, and I can see why it was given to me, screw-on type connection PAIN, and crocodile clips to connect to the battery, this one you have looks great, thanks Dan 👍👍,

    Nice & handy piece of kit.With the lead not reaching from your car to the wrong side of caravan,if you had an Anker power bank you could use the car socket outlet with the unit next to you,no stretching of lead. 😄😄

    Hi Dan great review. I purchased one after seeing your review
    I am please with it apart from 2 points
    1 the battery only inflates 2 tyres on my car from 1.9 to 2,2 bar so still have to use the 12v socket
    2 the tube is very short it will not reach the top of the wheel whilst on the floor

    The Halfords 12v compressor I've had for 30 years set on fire last week, whilst I had to use it when it was raining. It's almost like my phone listens to my conversations to have this video recommended to me! Especially since I've never seen you before or ever watched caravan content.

    Hi Dan. A neat and versatile piece of kit. Well worth the look. I currently use a 12v plug in tyre inflator together with an extension socket to reach the offside caravan tyre. It works but a bit of a faff to set up and trail wires. The wireless capability looks a great option. Keep up the great videos. Dave.

    I've never seen any inflator inflate a caravan tyre to nearly 60psi so quickly - mine certainly struggles with the last few psi even though it's a plug-in 12v and rated for 150psi. Can you confirm this was real footage and not speeded up? If it's really that fast then my order's going straight in.
    My other question is how many tyres you get from a charge, because if it runs down quickly and has to be corded for the caravan, that would defeat the point of the thing.

    • @TheTrudgians
      @TheTrudgians  Рік тому

      Morning, I sped the footage up on the video, but the time codes on the raw footage reveal that it took 42 seconds from the compressor going on to the compressor switching off. Thats to inflate from 54 to 57psi. - in real terms its a little bit quicker than my old now broken pump.
      Hope that helps.

    We ordered this compressor based on this review & have been to our caravan in storage today & it isn't inflating at all, in fact we have lost pressure - what are we doimg wrong. It was fully charged & we also tried plugging into the car but nothing! Help!!

    • @TheTrudgians
      @TheTrudgians  Рік тому

      Hi Karen, does the compressor run ok when not connected to a tyre? Don’t forget the switch on the rear of the unit, and select a target pressure. It maybe the pressure you’re after is lower than the actual pressure in the tyre?
      Hope you can sort it ok.
      Dan.

      Hi Dan, Thankyou for such a speedy response! We need 60 psi for our Bailey caravan tyres. Initially it was reading 45, now it's down to 35. My OH did say hardly any air was coming out. We only received it today, charged at home (took less than an hour) & had a green light so assumed fully charged. But we also tried via the car & it made no difference. We are on our way home now but need to get it working.

  • @timlloyd5687

    Does this realistically inflate to 65psi? If so does that immediately flatten the battery?

    • @anthonyphillips8728
      @anthonyphillips8728 Рік тому

      @@anthonyphillips8728 Do say how you get on. A theoretical maximum of 150psi doesn't mean it won't struggle to get those last extra psi into a caravan tyre. Dan only used his up to 55psi.

    Hi Dan. A very timely vlog thank you as l'm currently looking for a cordless inflator! When using it with the Floe, does it automatically restart back up to 15psi after you've opened the taps, or do you need to keep restarting it? 🤔 New to 'vanning & your vlogs have been priceless! Many thanks for the effort you put in. 😊👍
