How to wash, tease and dry old horsehair for reuse

Thanks for your video. I knew you could wash and reuse horsehair but wasn't sure exactly how to do it and your video was a great help. Now teasing a load I just washed. It's completely changed colour with all the dust out of it and looks new :-)

Thanks for your video! I just bought an armchair to reupholster and I realised It had horse hair in the base. I was just about to throw it away and buy foam instead when I found your video. Just washed all my horsehair and it feels band new. Thanks!

I bought a sofa that has horse and boar hair. It looks like it may have something else with it that is like cotton stuffing. It’s 54 yrs old. Do I need to wash it or will it be ok to leave it be?
