@@ArtlessFool That's why it's important to learn how to do FOTD and world events fast. Clear them fast before another crew thinks to check it out.
Just about every time I decide to do an FOTD I get attacked. I've finished my FOTD achievements anyway.
I attempted FotD once. Within no time I got attacked by an enemy brig. By the time I got back, 3 crews were fighting over the island.
And that is why I’ll say the joker line from dark knight “and here we go” every time we activate a fotd😂
I've been playing for a handful of months and watched many gamers and their SoT content and dude you are by far my favorite and the best IMO. Thanks for all you do.

I remember the 1st time I attempted fotd. I was always afraid to do it because of other players but I finally decided to do it. Sure enough I got attacked before I even finished the 5th wave but this guide should help me clear it and get the hell out of there a lot faster thx

I've watch your videos for the first time yesterday and the way you explain everything make it, so anyone can understand thanks for the videos
You can also one shot the boss with kegs without using the wall exploit (only works if you stack) : once the first fort finished "normally", you keep the kegs present in the vault and put them on the right lantern inside, take one regular keg out of the pile and put it upstairs (the main hall) at the far right of the room. Do the fort and when it comes to the boss wave, simply blow the regular keg wich will set all of them downstairs.
There's one drawback : you need to protect the regular keg in the hall during the fort, avoid making it explode
why not just kill a keg skeleton and use that keg?
@@smoknord69nic420 Because if you try that, you risk blowing up the keg itself, which in turn could set off the keg stack in the vault.

if you want to be cheap with your dubloons
do skele fleet and do 1 skull of destiny
use the ritual skulls from skele fleet first and use the destiny skull on the last stack

Would love to stack this event but yet to make it through even once without some ship sitting on the horizon waiting until we finish to come in for the steal. Trying to move all the loot solo from the vault and get it on the ship is just so damn slow and leaves way too much time in which you are walking with the goods and can't keep an eye out the way you can with even one other player helping. That first success should feel pretty sweet wehn it finally happens though :D
I dont do this fort bec risk and time cut into potential profits and the Reaper's chest suck. But you can put all your loot on a cliff, so you can harpoon it. Its a lot faster.
@@DevNevinUA-cam still way too slow there are like 25 pieces of loot in there.
You can get harpoon boat and use harpoon boat to bring loot right next to reapers trader at repears hideout
Next to the glitched spot for the kegs, there is a little some kind of mini cave, where you can normally place the kegs, so you can still 1 tap Graymarrow
Ye but then it still has the problem of someone tucking and stealing said kegs

Always more a matter of others. Was on a galleon, only had two contest our FoFs or FOTD the other night. Was very profitable. The two contesting (a sloop first, then a brig) weren't the best. Need nights of easy wins to bounce back from the usual camp and sink of those usually better than us once things are done.
9 months later and multiple seasons later, I can confirm. Keg wall still 100% works
we did around 60 fort of the damned stacks in the past week and a half as a galleon with reaper emi up 80% of the time. we got contested around 2 times by crews (they were very bad). i wouldnt worry about timings.

@@kishiroarca7218 not really, we're on EU servers which have the worst cheaters and some of the best and most competitive players in sot. we weren't hiding.

used this strat to stack 4 forts. took me 1 hour. had to sink 4 ships during the time of doing the fort.
the second we finish the last fort and start putting it into our ship, these 2 fat pirates come hooning down on a sloop with their shrouded ghost titles (evidence they've completely bummed out the game) and just absolutely slaughtered us.
me and my friend have a combined 800 hours.
Managed to get a fort of fortune all to myself last night at like 2 am. Was delightful. Another spawned after I finished mine and there were two galleons on it. I got extremely lucky it would seem

Im currently on 6/50 completions for the commendation, I have attempted maybe 35-40 a few have been taken after completion which im not salty about but the rest ive have it running for no more then 10min before i have every boat on the server come for it.
90% of these were before the SOD existed and took ages to get all the lights. I also didnt know that the SOD acted like your lantern to make them vunerable, I thought it was just to ignite the lanterns and to start the fort so will be definitly trying afew more aagiin soon.
If you don't care about the money you can just tuck on the island until the fort finishes and you'll get the commendation

I got attacked 7 times over 2 forts, 3 sloops were allianced. They sucked so i won but still.
Can you make a vid where you tuck on to a boat and just try and scare them like putting good chests on a row boat to make them paranoide
honestly the keg wall doesnt matter solo it only matters if you are on a gally when greymarrow is huge

I dont think ritual skulls are useless. They can be used instead of Skulls of Destiny and you can easily get them from skeleton fleets. So if you have like 3, you can use the skull of destiny elsewhere and use the skulls for activating the FotD
He sat there at the fort for who-knows-how-long going over all of this while announcing to the whole server he was there with a reaper flag. Not wise. It gave everyone else, at minimum, 10 minutes advance warning that someone was about to start the fort.
he'd potentially get attacked even if he wasn't flying reaper's bones since you can see the Fort skulls from almost Any outpost and figure out it's probably the FotD skull by checking compass and map.
He knows...
Players are the only real challenge in this game. Without them, it's boring. Why do you think ANYONE uses the Reaper Flag?
@@gjshomeofsilliness9391umm.... for a higher payout, considering all your loot is covered by the emissary and not just some of it. Not everyone enjoys the pvp aspect of the game. Hence why some people do server alliances or undercover reapers.
@@jackel999 Yes, but by sitting there at the fort with a reaper flag up for, I'm guessing, 15+ minutes, he gave everyone on the map that much more advance notice to start preparing for an intercept.
another tip to remove stress is skeletons with guns can’t explode kegs, only melee ones.
That's bs lmfao I was carrying a keg and got annihilated by a gun skele kuz he blew it up they just can't blow up each other's

few things you missed, you can stack the loot behind the vault door so no one can see it through the floor, they just think it’s one fort

I dont have this captain voyage bundle and even no voyage for the skull of destiny at pirate lord shop

theres a glitch for the kegs in fotd that hasent been patched for 3 seasons now (if you gather all the kegs into this one stop {normal ones} it ones shots graymarrow if your on a sloop solo or duo)

I feel like I get the philosophy of having a guide and trying to teach a method that isn't patched but this is a sandbox game that's ever changing and there's no guarantee anything will stay the same. I.e all old FOTD guides are obsolete since the update. And making new content to address that is apart of it, Is ok.
I would love to do this sometime, but every time I start a FOTD the loot is teleported out.

i tried doing a ten stack and when we were about to start 4 a merm spawned and we had to sail away quickly, we looked behind and a frikking brig crew was chasing us, we sold the loot but the player's just spawn camped us for 1 hour before we just scuttled and left.
You should expect pvp at the fotd and people get pretty mad when you run from a fight hence the spawn camping

Ya new players will follow into the red sea for pvp. It takes a bit for them to realize the amount of time that is wasted in adventure pvp

Please help! I cannot find this quest anywhere! I am PL, I have a captained ship, and still I cannot find it at both the pirate lord as well as the shipwrite.

Easier because you can have someone set up a trap for marrow while keeping an eye out for ships.
You made a guide about stacking without actually stacking. And you mentioned that you won't use the wall exploit, but you gladly used the vault exploit.
I got attacked by a server alliance after 🤗 the point is how to stack, which is clearly shown in the video.
As for the barrel , that's not an exploit, you're saving your treasure inside a vault, like how you can do in a Seafort.
So how are you hiding it in the vault? Can’t other players just go to the vault? Also, do you dig out the chests later? You never specified.

Someone please help me. I am very confused on how long it takes for the fort of the damned to respawn. Me and my crew had waited 2 real life hours after taking it and it never respawned.
It doesn’t respawn on its own, you have to get the lights again and relight the lanterns and put in another ritual skull/skull of destiny

Servers can die. We stacked FOTD 8 times and never got harrased or saw any emmisaries. Never even saw a mast the entirw time. Only when we started back did it server hop us. We got ambushed by 2 gally reapers on our way back to sell. It was BS.
Going forward if we do that again, we both agreed to leave someone om FOTD until we made it back to reapers. The game wont server hop you if all crew arent on the boat at the same time.
All works out until a single ship with some half decent players comes along and sinks you and takes your loot because you were solo stacking fort of the damned.
Why didn't you use the funny stick?

We all were at some point :) You can start as a Duo, even if you sink, which is possible, Its a healthy part of the game, and doing this with a Duo is really fun, Just have a blast, whether its you blowing up another ship, or your ship going to Davey Jones :D
Yeah, you only may have lost it once. But you're also A PVP Chad, 9 out of 10 people will lose it almost every time problem.

Playing SoT solo suuucks. Finding good players to play with is near impossible. I've given up.

I did once, also lost loot, but tried to get it back few times(invaders werent in hurry i guess), even once almost steal reaper chest and tried to burried smartly which ends up with shovel animation reacting to the wrong terrain for burrying and then got shot by another player :(
