Omg yes!!!! I just watched it yesterday and yes it's corny, cringey and gives you second hand embarrassment, but that's the whole point. The movie is self aware that it's coming off like that and you can tell because of the jokes and characters they have. I mean there's a guy that has a swim cap on throughout the whole movie and for me whenever he would appear that shit was hilarious because I know wearing that swim cap 24/7 would hurt like shit. The humor was also, like I said self aware, because it was so exaggerated and just very played into. Idk this movie is basically all satire, it's not meant to be taken seriously and the logic on something's isn't supposed to be fleshed out because this movie is just trying to do some shits and giggles and give you that corny rom-com that can bring you away from reality for a bit. Overall I really enjoyed this movie, it was just cringey but it gave me butterflies in my stomach, it's gave me second hand embarrassment and it made me say throughout the whole movie "girl what are you doing 😭😭" like it was just so fun to just be with the characters, see how dumb they are and celebrate when everything end with their happy ending. Also that last speech that the ml did- I'm afraid it ate cause like what the hell, if I heard that I'd be at the very least like 😳 but idk that's just me, give this movie a try if you want, and if not then it's okay. I don't know why I'm so passionate about this movie and also sorry for writing this much 🧍♀️
@@hellostanger2064 i also loved that it didn’t dive in on the LGBTQ stuff where they would just shove it in peoples faces and make it all about them which I’m thankful for that they didn’t
my sister randomly started watching this but never finished it (she has a habit of starting movies and finishing them). I watched it with her and i actually liked the 10 minutes i saw. the sense of style and camera work were very reminiscent of 2000s romcoms. it's very funny to me that the only thing i've seen regarding this movie is about how bad it is
