Great reaction, Cindy and Ryan! Thank you for asking me to come to your home and interview me. Hope that this helps your channel and Lucy. Some have said that Lucy does not have enough variety but here she impressively sings a rhythm and blues song first recorded in the 1940’s by the Glenn Miller Orchestra and then in 1960 Etta James recorded the version with which most are familiar. This is very different than pop classics, musical theatre, and show tunes. It requires different skills that are not used so much in those other genres. She does a magnificent job. I could see her in a smoky nightclub in the 1940’s or 1950’s singing this. She perfectly interpreted the song. Her performance is phenomenal. Thank you again Cindy and Ryan!

Thanks for this great interview and a small look into how beautifully stunning Lucy was at her last big concert! Lucky people who were able to see this show. Fantastic insight into her amazing concert.
Thanks for pulling this off guys and big thanks to Trent for sharing his experience of Lucy's concert and his admiration and love for lucy how could you not admire one of the greatest singers of this generation without 👌
Thank you Ryan, Cindy and Trent! This interview was so enjoyable. I was in London that magical evening and it was a wonderful concert set in a beautiful theatre. Great job Trent in how you described the whole experience.
Hey Guys. Thank you for the great review and having Trent to help out. I enjoyed this almost as much as listening to Lucy. Lucy is just so crazy talented and she never ever disappoints. I don’t why but she just always makes me smile. She has so many great recordings. I think you two should just look them over and pick one that you both like and react to it. Please stay safe, healthy, and free.
This reaction was a real treat and both interesting and very enjoyable. I look forward to many more Lucy Thomas reactions, she is the real deal and we're all so lucky to witness her extordinary talent.
Thank you so much for this review. This was totally awesome. Trent was absolutely right on with his analysis of the entire concert. I was there (from Houston). I couldn't have said it any better. Great job Trent! The fan club is extremely proud and grateful for this and Lucy will love it! You rock Trent! Now all we have to do is figure out how to get Lucy here to the states.
Trent, you were outstanding! Touchy, what a great interview and reaction! Sitting 4th row center, the concert was one of the most extraordinary events of my life. We might as well remained standing as there were so many ovations. Add to that meeting Lucy, Martha, and her Mom and Dad, priceless! To top it off, meeting and dining with so many fans around the world. The countless pub hours as well as the warmth given to be by Lucy and my new friends, made it a trip to remember! Although the M&G, was in a Pizza Express, the downstairs was a small performance venue and quite intimate. Way to go Touchy, Trent and of course the great Lucy Thomas!
Hi Trent! This review was amazing to watch and listen deeply to your wonderful comments and was great seeing you both at the M&G the day after in Holborn! Myself, though I suffer with ATAXIA (epilepsy) that I found it very hard not to get too exsighted on the 22nd/10/2012 - I did have a few seizures during Lucy's concert, it didn't hamper my love and charm that she gave us all. I think there were somthing like seven standing ovations in the first half. Which goes to show how dedicated her fan-base is becoming. Also, seeing photo's of me & lucy and the collection I have makes this a pleasure to behold forever... Though Lucy said that the (ROSIE) musical in the 2nd half was just a taster. Then, I replied. Well! - If that was just a taster, then you completely smashed it right out of the ball park. Giggling somewhat, and the way she ripped open the pressie that I gave her, was sheer delight when she showed of the champaine glasses to everyone. I would go the ends of the earth to see our own (Lucy Thomas) again. When she asked me about the Musical, and if I will be going. I re[lied, You bet, nothing's goin' to stop me. Essex, UK ❤❤❤
John, thank you so much for taking the time to share your story with all of us ❤️ 😀. It sounds like you had a life changing experience. Sorry to hear about your having some seizures during the show. That must have been hard on you. Keep supporting Lucy. And let us know how you enjoyed the Rosie show.
- I thoroughly enjoyed myself in the company and meeting the fans who I had been in liaison with on Facebook, and that we all had one thing in common, and that was meeting our own (angel of the north) Miss Lucy Thomas. The show started with a standing ovation, as Lucy walked on stage and greeting us all, then Lucy began to sing (Somwhere), and I must admit, my heart just melted with awe, then, her 2nd standing ovation happened. I don't think any of us had whitnessed anything like this before, it was sheer heaven, seeing this young lady of 20yrs punch out so many songs from film and covers from other artistes with such pure emotion. The song (One Day) which is on her debut CD (Premier) is five years old, and still as fresh as the day it was recorded in the studio, that sounded even better with that richness and controlled vibrato that only Lucy seems to control without effort. In the 2nd half of the concert, we were greeted with the highlights from the up and coming musical (ROSIE) and, what a pleasent surprise for us all that her sister Martha of 14yrs joined us again on stage. There was one song that she sung meant by (Desmonda Cathabel) (I still beleive In Love) as trent said, it was sung so beautiful, whith sheer devotion and determination, that was so true, if not better than the album version, that at this point I was in a flood of tears. The chap next to me said, are you alright? which I replied. I had something in my eyes. Then he assured me that it was ok to cry. Just think me! John also a 70yr old singing away miming to the whole (ROSIE) CD. - which at the M&G the next day Lucy said that maybe the musical will appear in around July or September 2025, and she said (Im bricking it...) But I assured her to take it one day at a time. and started giggling again, It certainly made me feel at ease. Then she remarked on my key-fob, saying... I love that what you've done, so with that I'm in the process of making 100 or so (ROSIE) key-fobs giving away to fans when the Musical appears next year. I just loved the whole expirience, and would do it all again in a heartbeat, health permitting... ❤❤❤
Hi guys, what a brilliant reaction, the inclusion of Trent has made this one of the best reviews of Lucy's talent on you tube, i attended the Stoller hall concert, but unfortunately didn't make Drury lane, to get a first hand account from Trent was superb, and confirms my belief that Lucy is a world class performer, congratulations on a job very well done,!!! Ian.
Another great reaction with the added bonus of a super fan’s account of his time at the London concert. This song shows the sultry side of Lucy’s voice and emphasises that she can sing any genre. Like most Thomasites I am on tenterhooks in anticipation of her next video dropping on UA-cam. It’s been a month since I Dreamed a Dream was released, reaching 1.3 million views already, so another gem should be imminent. ❤
Hello Cindy, Ryan & your guest Trent, thank you ever so much for giving this reaction to Lucy singing in the West End London last week. The story Trench told was just incredible to fly over 4,000 miles to see & listen to a Lucy concert, this has to be just pure dedication to Lucy Thomas. As Trent says Lucy was just so amazing she is just such a special person with an astonishing voice. The main reason the concert was not sold out is that the main stream media showbiz scene in the UK do not mention Lucy at all in fact she is virtually unknown over here which is just a cardinal sin. For Lucy to appear in the states she has plenty of obstacles in her way. Firstly she needs to build up entertainer points, to appear in the States & the cost of getting a work permit is very difficult. She needs to get a very rich sponsor over there & I presume she would have to sign a contract with the sponsor for all the events. Lucy has reached the world by herself & her team through her own UA-cam channel she is a very clever young lady with an amazing gift. She has done everything by herself & her parents she is just such a special person, & thank you Cindy & Ryan for all you are doing for Lucy. Take care, Barbara.
Barbara, thank you so much for taking the time to share all of this with us. I didn't know a lot of the facts you shared here. Lucy deserves all the success she wants.
Hi Barbara. You make some very valid points and once agsin it comes back to money!!. Money first, talent second. However I think it's a deliberate move by Chris Broom in keeping a controlled rein on Lucy'career. After "Rosie" I think the cork will explode out of the bottle and she will become a world wide name. At nearly 21 years old, just think of the career she will have over the years to come and her voice is nowhere near it's full potential.yet!
@@pedromancenithe3rd Hello Peter, I do hope you are right, " Rosie " keeps being delayed all the time, I do hope Chris Broom is not holding her back, Lucy would fill any stadium in America & elsewhere. Take care, Barbara.
Really fascinating interview guys. I don't think I've seen a commentator invited to do an in person review of a concert before, at a reactors Home. Because it was about Lucy, it had my undivided attention. It was great to get the opinion of someone who was at the Drury Lane Theatre, to witness Lucy's performance. To think Trent travelled 4 thousand miles to see Lucy is impressive to say the least. And to say she has a dedicated fan base is an understatement. I've seen Trent's comments on several reactors channels. I can now put a face to the name. Great choice of song, as well. So we'll done!
I REALLY enjoyed this video/interview. I agree with his ranking of Lucy. And I'm likewise amazed at her breath; she just keeps going and going before taking a breath. As-far-as her telling a story in her songs I've said she throws herself into her music; she doesn't just sing, she performs a song. Her vibrato is fantastic, among the top of anyone. I've been in music beginning in 1950. I rank Lucy in the top 5 or 10 of female singers in my lifetime. She brings me to tears with every song she does. I could go on but I won't.
I know what you mean about the tears. Every song she sings starts the tears flowing! I know it may sound crazy, but sometimes I tear up just thinking about Lucy!
Lucy has an amazing understanding of the words of anything she sings, especially in view of her young age. She enriches our lives in a way that sadly seems very rare these days.
Trent I know why you went through the effort to go to London, I flew from Philadelphia to London and went to the Lucy concert. It was amazing and the meet and greet. Maybe I even saw you there who knows but this has been a good interview. Thank you.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE YOUR REACTIONS TO LUCY. HERE ARE 3 SONGS I WOULD LIKE YOU TO DO THEY ARE EARLIER. 'REFLECTIONS" "FOOTPRIENTS OIN THE SAND" AND "WIND BENEATH MY WINGS" YOU WONTE BE DISAPPOINTED IN ANY OF THEM.
Thank you for doing this reaction video, your guest was wonderful. I almost made it, i will try for the opening of Rosie! I am coming from Vancouver, BC, Canada.
Great reaction & Interview Cindy & Ryan. And a shout out to Trent .I was also lucky enough to be at the concert and the M&G. and agree 100% with everything Trent said Although I didn´t travel as far as him just from Spain. There were people from all over the World at the concert and Lucy is worth it and as Trent said Lucy is way better live than her recordings and they are fantastic. It is a shame that the theatre was not sold out but you would never have known it Lucy also said herself that she did not expect to fill the theatre "Yet" .Lucy is by far the best vocalist I have ever heard and this concert was the best I have ever been to.This girl is a national treasure and the World need to know her.She is appearing today in the BBC Children in need concert In Stockport (near Manchester UK).Lucy Will be staring in the Musical Rosie Written for her by Chris Broom.and is due to open this year in the UK. Thanks Cindy and Ryan for your continued support for Lucy and Thanks Trent for your insight to the concert. Also Cindy & Ryan if you get the chance to see Lucy live grab it .Because someone like Lucy comes once in a lifetime.
So sorry Lucy's Concert was not sold out you know there is a tremendous amount of people that don't use you tube I believe the promoters and management team are not doing enough to advertise her..... there are many many people that do not know who she was and have never heard of her !!!!!!!
@ I was at both the Manchester and London concerts and at both the “ meet & greet” events, Lucy is the best solo vocalist I’ve ever heard and the most delightful human being I’ve ever met (don’t tell my wife, daughter or grandkids!). I’m also going to see Lucy performing tomorrow night at a charity concert in Stockport (one of the suburbs of Manchester)
@@TouchyReactions I’d spoken to Louise just before the concert then, purely by coincidence Louise and Jason (Lucy’s dad) came and sat next to my wife and I. I also spoke to Martha and separately to Lucy’s Grandad. I have photos with Lucy, Martha and Louise from the Manchester meet & greet and with Lucy from the London meet & greet. Oh and I had spoken to Lucy’s fantastic Musical Director (Rob Guy) at a separate event in a Local cathedral back in September
Great interview. thx We had the honour to be at both UK concerts. Can't wait to see Rosie next year. Sadly too late for the M&Gr in London. Knowing how fast it sold out does help a little. If you ever have the chance to see her, grab the chance. Your life will never be the same.
That was great!,so special to have someone with you who travelled all the way over to London from the States!, Lucy is 'One in a million',certainly one of the finest vocalists in the world if not the finest, certainly my favourite, simply a stunning vocalist & a beautiful human being!😊
Lucyna is above all a musically educated person, she reads and sings her own songs, there are songs that are sung completely new and she is a 21st person who has an amazing female vocal range and has proven that we have a female countertenor that fits into the male tenors
What a beautiful, beautiful voice. Oh, did you guys review The Warnings Dany playing with Halestorm on Familiar Taste of Poison in Canada.... Dany was so hyped.
I had hoped to meet Jason, Louise, and Martha at the Meet and Greet, but Lucy was the only family member present. I tried to think of a different word than ‘only’ because Lucy was so special, lovely, caring, and humble. What a special person! She is really a remarkable person in addition to being the world’s best singer.
The first time I got to see Lucy Thomas is when I came across a reaction channel whose format is for two artists to cover the same song (Never Enough) and let the viewers judge whose version is best. Lucy did a great rendition but the other female vocalist was just too good and I assumed already a seasoned veteran. But Lucy's fans pointed out that she's just 14 years old at the time. I agree and it's too bad she didn't sing it at her concert because she is a much better vocalist now and I'm sure she would have sang it a lot better.
I find it really sad that a fan had to publish any pictures or info on Lucys London concert!!! Her production team is missing out on a great opportunity to promote Lucy. there are millions a fans that are unable to fly half way around the world to a concert, time, medical constraints, funds, but they are still interested in Lucy. a CD or video of some or all would be nice and many would buy. but after Toyko and London only a few pictures by fans have surfaced. WHY ???? Do the promoters not understand how to promote ???? Thanks for the tid bit of info on the London Concert at lest we got a glimsp of what went on......
To be fair there were a few videos released of her debut concert in Manchester and by all accounts some film was taken of her concert in London so I suspect we'll see something pop up in the near future.

Absolutely great! I also wanted to meet Lucy at her concert in October, but unfortunately I was in hospital due to an accident. I swear, I will fly to Lucy's next concert - wherever it is!!!
Thanks for this great interview and a small look into how beautifully stunning Lucy was at her last big concert! Lucky people who were able to see this show. Fantastic insight into her amazing concert.
Glad you enjoyed it George 💓 😊
What a fantastic video thanks to all involved…excellent!!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks for pulling this off guys and big thanks to Trent for sharing his experience of Lucy's concert and his admiration and love for lucy how could you not admire one of the greatest singers of this generation without 👌
Glad you enjoyed it Keith.
Thank you Ryan, Cindy and Trent! This interview was so enjoyable. I was in London that magical evening and it was a wonderful concert set in a beautiful theatre. Great job Trent in how you described the whole experience.
Glad you enjoyed it!
I am very sorry that I couldn't be there.
Thanks Jimi
A dedicated fan indeed! So glad you had a great night, Trent.
The best!
This reaction was a real treat and both interesting and very enjoyable. I look forward to many more Lucy Thomas reactions, she is the real deal and we're all so lucky to witness her extordinary talent.
Thanks Phil
Thank you so much for this review. This was totally awesome. Trent was absolutely right on with his analysis of the entire concert. I was there (from Houston). I couldn't have said it any better. Great job Trent! The fan club is extremely proud and grateful for this and Lucy will love it! You rock Trent! Now all we have to do is figure out how to get Lucy here to the states.
Heck yeah. I would love to see her live.
Jay, I live outside of Houston. I am so jealous of you and Susan. I have hopes that one day she will come to Houston so I can see her in person.
@@kennethsorrels8850 another Huston resident. Nice
@richardpomerantz2820 it sounds like you had an amazing time, Richard. I wish we could have been there with you.
@John_vDongen wow, John. You really know how to paint a picture with your words. Thanks for sharing 👍
@@TouchyReactions - My pleasure, take care... ❤
Ian.
Thanks Ian. We're glad you enjoyed it 💓
Wow, thank you Ian.
Thanks for sharing Barry
It was an absolute pleasure listening to Trent.
He's awesome
Wow! This was an incredibly interesting and fun interview! I am so envious of Trent! 😁
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you Pedro. Glad you enjoyed it 💓 😊.
@@TouchyReactionsYES. Corrected. Thanks
Thanks for sharing 👍
I know what you mean about the tears. Every song she sings starts the tears flowing! I know it may sound crazy, but sometimes I tear up just thinking about Lucy!
@@garycrawford3641 I have to be careful playing Lucy while driving. Teary eyes aren't good for seeing to drive.
Thank you.
Thanks for sharing Rich
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE YOUR REACTIONS TO LUCY. HERE ARE 3 SONGS I WOULD LIKE YOU TO DO THEY ARE EARLIER. 'REFLECTIONS" "FOOTPRIENTS OIN THE SAND" AND "WIND BENEATH MY WINGS" YOU WONTE BE DISAPPOINTED IN ANY OF THEM.
Thanks Jack
Thank you for doing this reaction video, your guest was wonderful. I almost made it, i will try for the opening of Rosie! I am coming from Vancouver, BC, Canada.
I hope you get to see her live 🙏 💕
Super cool video. This was soooo lovely.
Glad you enjoyed it David 💓 😊 ☺️
Thank you Colin. There is no doubt that we will be working hard to see her live if the opportunity arrives.
So sorry Lucy's Concert was not sold out you know there is a tremendous amount of people that don't use you tube I believe the promoters and management team are not doing enough to advertise her..... there are many many people that do not know who she was and have never heard of her !!!!!!!
I hope she gets noticed more.
At last was Lucy’s second song of 17 in her first ever public concert I was sitting next to Lucy’s mum Louise while she sang this!
Oh wow. Did you get to talk with her?
@ I was at both the Manchester and London concerts and at both the “ meet & greet” events, Lucy is the best solo vocalist I’ve ever heard and the most delightful human being I’ve ever met (don’t tell my wife, daughter or grandkids!). I’m also going to see Lucy performing tomorrow night at a charity concert in Stockport (one of the suburbs of Manchester)
@5pmevans you are a diehard fan.
@@5pmevans nice. Her whole inner circle.
Great interview. thx We had the honour to be at both UK concerts. Can't wait to see Rosie next year. Sadly too late for the M&Gr in London. Knowing how fast it sold out does help a little.
If you ever have the chance to see her, grab the chance. Your life will never be the same.
Our pleasure!
That was great!,so special to have someone with you who travelled all the way over to London from the States!, Lucy is 'One in a million',certainly one of the finest vocalists in the world if not the finest, certainly my favourite, simply a stunning vocalist & a beautiful human being!😊
@johncollins392 thanks John. We're happy that you enjoyed it 💓 😊
I hope it isn't 5 or 10 years before she comes to the States, as I may not be here... love, love, love Lucy and Martha
Agreed. She should at least hit some of the major cities. Most folks will travel to see her.
Lucyna is above all a musically educated person, she reads and sings her own songs, there are songs that are sung completely new and she is a 21st person who has an amazing female vocal range and has proven that we have a female countertenor that fits into the male tenors
Thanks for the info 👍
What a beautiful, beautiful voice. Oh, did you guys review The Warnings Dany playing with Halestorm on Familiar Taste of Poison in Canada.... Dany was so hyped.
We haven't seen it yet
Great that we all can live vociferously through Trent’s experience as detailed here. I was wondering if Trent also met Martha, and what she was like.
'vicariously' not 'vociferously' - no doubt a victim of YT's mistaken auto spell checker! 😊
Good question!
@@michaelhingley4770 absolutely. I was going to edit it, but you basically did it first.
Hey, if you guys want to fly me over from the UK, I'll be happy to give you my London concert reaction! 😅😅😅
If you happen to be in East Tennessee, look us up. 😆 🤣 😂
Thanks for sharing Cristy
I find it really sad that a fan had to publish any pictures or info on Lucys London concert!!! Her production team is missing out on a great opportunity to promote Lucy. there are millions a fans that are unable to fly half way around the world to a concert, time, medical constraints, funds, but they are still interested in Lucy. a CD or video of some or all would be nice and many would buy. but after Toyko and London only a few pictures by fans have surfaced. WHY ???? Do the promoters not understand how to promote ???? Thanks for the tid bit of info on the London Concert at lest we got a glimsp of what went on......
I feel your frustration.
To be fair there were a few videos released of her debut concert in Manchester and by all accounts some film was taken of her concert in London so I suspect we'll see something pop up in the near future.
@@adamknight7041 I have seen the 4 songs from Manchester but NOTHING from Tokyo or London, what a missed opportunity !! !
Really enjoyed this until Trent said he slept through Eric Clapton. I'll let him off, but I bet the rest of the crowd enjoyed ec.
