i had the pleasure of witnessing some of this tour first hand, at which point i was confronted with the unconquerable urge to shout out the word "beard" at the top of my voice. in addition to this i found myself stroking my beard without my ever noticing. the combination of these two factors meant i left the wardrobe in leeds, with no voice and a sore chin. and an erection the sight of which i fear i may never see again.
How wonderfull and awesome to see so many fellow bearded men ;) Keep up the good work guys :) Let's spread the love for beards :)

For a band that worships their beards, I can't tell if they're being self critical about their life decisions and saying their beards haven't helped, providing an indictment on "neckbeard" culture, or if they're just having a laugh.
