Got one as a gift and boy does it suck, the shells don’t even come out crispy, even baked longer..has a stale feel where the outside is crunchy and the inside is just slightly chewy..hurts the mouth :F

Um...I have been to Mexico 3 times with my Mexican husband and stayed with his huge family. They always had tostadas on the table with every meal along side tortillas. Not just his parents, his aunts, sisters, brothers, cousins...Everyone keeps them around. And not one time did I have a "taco." They never had lettuce or cheese. Always black beans, meat, and tortillas. You just used the tortilla as a utensil. And we weren't in Reyenosa or somewhere that's quite American in culture, we were down south in Benito Juarez.
In México the tostadas we used in pozole and tostadas with cueritos, in this case we used letucce, onions, beans and salsa, but never used the tostadas in the famous tacos. Jsjsjsj. Vengan a México mejor ❤ (Sorry for my bad english and sorry for your president:( )
Save $10 bucks and throw some Old El Paso Stand'n'Stuff shells in a 325 oven for 5-7 minutes, boom just did what she's hawking. Extra bonus, dipping sauces fit any container
