Well, to the skeptics, singing in the Spirit (in tongues and/or in a natural language), a new, formerly unknown song of praise, is what the Bible tells us (in the original Hebrew) is "the new song" or "the song of the Lord." There are 7 Hebrew words, not one, that have all been translated (for whatever unknown reason) into English as the single word "praise." So there are actually seven types of praise in Hebraic understanding. The Hebrew word for this type of praise (which is very clearly apparent that Ruth Heflin is engaging in during the second half of this clip) is the Hebrew (yet still a transliteration into English) word, "tehila." It comes from the root word "halal" which is where we get the word "hallelujah," or "praise Yah" (shortened version of Yahweh). Tehila is actually the word used for the title of the Book of Psalms, actually then, the Book of Tehila. It is also the word used as the only type of praise that God "inhabits," or "enthrones Himself in" according to Psalm 22 v.3. It is also the word for praise in 2 Chronicles 20 v. 22, where God defended king Jehoshaphat and the nation of Israel against three enemy armies, turning them against one another to where they killed each other leaving not even one person alive, and it took the Israelites three days to collect the booty orr spoils of war in what the Israelites then named "the Valley of Blessing," which is a distinctively "covenant" term. So, at least what Ruth was doing pans out, extremely biblically, and I'd say that what Bob Jones was describing is a prophetic act of obedience in "surrendering" or putting down the mindset of the flesh, much like 2 Corinthians 10:5, where Paul says to cast down imaginations/arguments, etc., and every high (prideful, selfish, self-focused) thing that exalts ITSELF against the knowledge of God, bringing EVERY thought captive to the obedience of Christ. That practice, in context, removes strongholds, which prevent us from walking in the Spirit, in God's perfect love, and therefore, also entering into His presence, through the veil which He opened for us. It goes much deeper than that, but I feel these are both highly biblical practices that too many casual "believers" miss out on because they aren't digging deep enough or pursuing God diligently, with their "whole hearts." I hope this helps some who may be questioning the validity of what these people are doing/recommending in this video. God bless you in your search for more of God and the truth, because if you followed this link and played the video... you are indeed searching for more. Enter in by faith, without which you can't please God...
I had a Devine experience maybe 30 years ago during the night up to Easter morning. I was so terrified that it stopped. At church that morning, I was told that my face was glowing, but I missed out on whatever I was supposed to experience. I'm still terrified even though that I know that perfect love casts out all fear. Please pray for me. I'm terrified of my Father, my Savior.
You're not alone. Many times in the Bible have men of God encountered something supernatural like an angel and had to be told, "Do not fear". I too have experienced something similar. We should reverence God and have a healthy fear of Him. But we should never allow fear to keep us from Him. I have been praying for you these last couple days and I believe your deliverance draws nigh. Be of good cheer. Do not be a victim any longer, you are a victor. The kingdom suffers violence but the violent take it by force. Take your deliverance by force. Become that warrior. You are a Champion! Blessings and Shalom
I pray for you my friend, that Father would reveal Himself to you in the most loving way ever. And that your relationship with Him would be the same He has with Yeshua. True union and ecstatic bliss. I rebuke any unhealthy fear in your life. Now go on and enjoy your Dad's presence!
Don’t pray, don’t use your mind, empty your head, take deep breaths. This is not biblical Christianity! Five senses becoming “golden” ? We walk by faith not feelings.
Actually, we have 5 natural or carnal senses, and 5 "spiritual" senses, and we are instructed in Romans 12 v. 2 to "be transformed" (in our outward, physical, natural man-i.e. soul and body) by the renewing of our mind. "Golden senses" refers to "gold refined by fire," or our natural 5 senses being transformed to align with the spiritual truth of God's Word. What he describes doing, IS an act of faith, not by sight (or carnal perception).
Thank you this is wonderful

Thank you so very much. Be blessed in Jesus' name. ❤️
Dear Myheart, please tell me, is your faith that you practice Catholicism?
@@tamarunitamaruni4724 No, why would you think that?
The background music is not helping.

my understanding of what was said, don't pray using your own mind, leave your own thoughts and flow with Holy Spirit
Then what does it mean to not lean on your own understanding?
😂😂😂. Oh lord, when will people sit down and learn.
