Not to mention he's not even in the top 500 artists on there. Compared to some of his kpop peers that easily get 100 + million views on their m/vs. I've seen artists that are way less high profile than he is but have more listeners to their music and better numbers. So no. He's now a household name.

I know Jackson will probably never read this (or maybe he will since he said he likes to read comments lol) but as a workaholic artist myself I just want to tell him that even though I understand and admire his desire to always get better and better he is an amazing artist and can be really proud of himself. He should take some steps back to just admire what he has done so far every now and then. It is important to find a healthy mix between knowning and valueing your achievements and knowing that you always can do even better. I am devestated everytime I hear him talk about the hard time he had. I hope he is on a good way to find a healthy balance in his life. I hope he will be able to create a lot of work that he will feel proud of and fulfilled in, I hope he takes care of his physical health as well as his mental health and gives his mind and his body some time to rest when he needs it. I hope he is in the process of learning to trust his abibilities, to trust the people in his life and to trust his intuition when his body tells him to rest. I admire how open he is when it comes to his hardships and I absolutely agree with him that it is a responsibility of people with a large following to have open conversations about topics like that, to destigmatize topics like these and remind people that artists are also only human. He is one of my favorite artist because his music videos as well as his interviews always feel so raw, so personal, so unique. I can't wait for his new album! I love that he is taking this route now, Blow was just incredible, probably the best thing he has ever done, I still listen to it and watch the music video on repeat. Cruel also already sound amazing! I really like that more grudge, rock-ish style, it fits his voice really well! I am so excited to see more of this very personal Jackson and not that I didn't love his old stuff as well but I think just trusting your gut and doing stuff without any compromise from the heart always is the right way and I hope he will keep going that way and be very happy and sucessfull doing so!

@@lionnoble4087 you do realize Jackson only has 3.5 m monthly listeners on Spotify? That is comparatively low for someone as high profile as he is. Not to mention he's not even in the top 500 artists on there. Compared to some of his kpop peers that easily get 100 + million views on their m/vs. I've seen artists that are way less high profile than he is but have more listeners to their music and better numbers. So no. He's now a household name.

They have bilibili instead of youtube why would they use spotify? this is not a criteria that can be used universally. I am not saying that he is worldwide wellknown, but I dont think you can ignore his popularity in Asia let alone China

jackson is perfect, i mean, a whole performer, has the heart, the brain and the body, he is amazing with kids, super funny, speaks i dunno how many languages, and gave us the iconic "HELLO, YOU KNOW WHAT IT IS, HELLO ANNYONGHANSEO"
I know Jackson will probably never read this (or maybe he will since he said he likes to read comments lol) but as a workaholic artist myself I just want to tell him that even though I understand and admire his desire to always get better and better he is an amazing artist and can be really proud of himself. He should take some steps back to just admire what he has done so far every now and then. It is important to find a healthy mix between knowning and valueing your achievements and knowing that you always can do even better. I am devestated everytime I hear him talk about the hard time he had. I hope he is on a good way to find a healthy balance in his life. I hope he will be able to create a lot of work that he will feel proud of and fulfilled in, I hope he takes care of his physical health as well as his mental health and gives his mind and his body some time to rest when he needs it. I hope he is in the process of learning to trust his abibilities, to trust the people in his life and to trust his intuition when his body tells him to rest. I admire how open he is when it comes to his hardships and I absolutely agree with him that it is a responsibility of people with a large following to have open conversations about topics like that, to destigmatize topics like these and remind people that artists are also only human. He is one of my favorite artist because his music videos as well as his interviews always feel so raw, so personal, so unique. I can't wait for his new album! I love that he is taking this route now, Blow was just incredible, probably the best thing he has ever done, I still listen to it and watch the music video on repeat. Cruel also already sound amazing! I really like that more grudge, rock-ish style, it fits his voice really well! I am so excited to see more of this very personal Jackson and not that I didn't love his old stuff as well but I think just trusting your gut and doing stuff without any compromise from the heart always is the right way and I hope he will keep going that way and be very happy and sucessfull doing so!
Fun With Dumb was great with inviting Jackson Wang. I feel at home for long listening to the his story that is interesting, comfortable at the same time funny and fun. No need for excessive words, everyone could see that he was a genius, a true artist and multi-talented. Anything to do with art, can be done very well. He has everything it takes to an entertainer.
I like to see Jackson more relaxed, fun as always, easy to engage in conversation. Such a nice guy! 🙌💚
