Our Thanksgiving is: roast turkey, gravy, stuffing, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, green beans with garlic, bread crumbs, parmesan and butter casserole, mashed turnips, and biscuits.
Dessert: Pumpkin pie, apple crisp with vanilla ice cream and 1other dessert requested by my family.
I LOVE COOKING THANKSGIVING!!!
My Thanksgiving dinner: Turkey, ham, dressing/stuffing, broccoli casserole, mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, sweet potato casserole, several different veggies, salad, cole slaw, dinner rolls, cheese cake, pumpkin pie w/ ice cream, pecan pie, apple pie, iced tea, coffee, soda. Plus lots of treats and snacks that everyone brings. If someone brings green bean casserole fine, but I don't make it or eat it. Usually by the time I finished cooking I was too exhausted to feel like eating. So when I hit my 70's I decided to enjoy the day and now our family goes out to eat.
Christmas is a totally different story. My son and daughter-in-law supply their home. My daughter-in-law cooks her heart out, and so do I but we celebrate Christmas at home.
That sounds so awesome. HAPPY EATING.
You have to have corn pudding for Thanksgiving..😋

From this list, I will be doing the parmesean potato stacks and the brussel sprouts.
I will twist the recipe a bit, and will roast butternut squash with sweet potato, then add the dried cranberries and pine nuts and roast an additional 10 mins😊

크렌베리소스를 보니 미국 본토에 살때 추수감사절 무렵 뉴욕여행하며 박물관과 명소들을 조며 즐거웠던 추억이 떠오르네요. 생일선물로 아울렛매장에서 구입한 네덜란드브랜드 털쉐터와 실크스카프를 구입해 입고 다녔는데 집으로 되돌아와 노스캐롤라이나주 운전면허증을 취득했어요. 그래서 연꽃이라는 의미가 있는 오이릴리 옷이 내게 행운을 가져다준것 같아 기회가 될때마다 핸드백과 치마 원피스,,,등을 구입하게 된 즐거운 추억이 있어요. 추수감사절 즐거운 뉴욕여행기에서 생긴 아주 멋진 추억이죠. 남동생집에 머물며 함께 여행안내를 해주어 즐거웠는데 그곳에서 맛있는 추수감사절 요리를 먹게 되어 즐거웠어요. 뉴저지라서 뉴욕여행하기 좋았거든요. 동생 가족에게 감사드려요. 시골 촌뜨기 누나의 뉴욕여행길에 하마터면 뉴욕 아울렛매장이 너무 넓어 헤메고 다니던 나를 찾느라 고생한 남동생에게 미안하고도 고마워서 동생에게도 생일선물로 따뜻한 털쉐터를 사주었너뇨. 어릴적 털실로 직접 짜서 선물을 받았던 즐거운 추억이 떠올라 즐거웠어요.
