Is me bahot bada role ladkiyon ki parents ka hei. Ladkiyon ki parents sirf aur sirf samaj keliye jite hein. Apne bachon keliye nahi. Kabhi bhi ladkiya apne sasural me uske taklif batate toh sahane keliye bolte. Khud ki hi ghar pe jane ka permission bhi nahi fir sasural me sas sasur kitna sukh denge socho. South me isa nahi hota. Ladkiyon ko likhna padhna bhi sikhate aur agar samnewalon ke galti me ladhna bhi. O bhi nahi chala toh musibat me parents ka ghar ki darwaza khula rakhenge bhi. Isa cheap kam zyada North me chalta he.

I think, times have changed now. This kind of situation is highly unlikely now a days. Girls these days are very well educated and independent. Also, the in-laws and groom’s mindset changed too. If anything happens like this, brides wouldn’t keep quiet. Especially the bride’s parents. I have never seen any parents these days like shown in the video who will say samaaj mein badhnaami hogi. They will send in-laws and the groom to the jail.
Girl can easily complaint to Police for Domestic voilance & also inform to Mahila Aayog of the State.
