Hi Jim, 5ft but with hatches (pop tops) up 6ft 6in in the galley and front as well as a small hatch in the head...for your h e a d as needed and ventalation! The idea is that, when on the go sitting headroom is enough, while it is still possible to move about, hunched over, headroom is not a priority. That said, on nice days the hatches will be open so standing fully is an option! The intent is for this design to compete with the Teardrop Trailer popularity! They have only sitting headroom and sleeping accomidations with a good kitchen accessed outside! MiniD has better accomodations, works as a light camper on land, has a snclosed head/toilet, easy to trailer, will fit into your home's garage for storage and as a bonus, it is a boat too! I have plans to use her for ice fishing in winter! I'm hoping folks appreciate
