Do you have to have these Journals , on your person, in inventory to work ? Or can they also be activated , by storing them in your captains locker.. ??
thanks.. man i had missed 1 of them even when i thought i looked the place trough good.. But it might be because i found other magazine so most likely thought there was not more. Really good simple guide without any useless crap and straight to the point showing on map where the location is first.
They don't stack. However, they're permanent effects added to your character on pickup, so you should still have the bonuses if you picked them up before NG+.
@@haroldallaberg6359 You're right, it is a weird choice! The rules change too for recipe based magazines. Those are based on which issue, not how many. My theory is that these random buff magazine sets were a bunch of unused skill ranks that got turned into items
Heads up for journal entry 1, if you are in ng+ and didn't rescue barrett the door will be blocked off

It's a permanent bonus on pickup to your character, so you can do whatever you want with the mags after.

Don't walk around too fast to find the magazines, just walk slower and take your time to find them.

the bonuses seem to be random. i just picked up kryx journal 2 from same spots as in this video and my bojnus was different from yours@@CaedoGenesis

still seems like an odd design choice, like why not have the same bonus every time for each individual magaizine?@@CaedoGenesis
