  • About the Event
Babesiosis is a disease caused by microscopic parasites that infect red blood cells. The main way patients are infected is through a tick bite. Symptoms include fever, chills, fatigue, headache, muscle pain, sweats and anemia.
This zoonotic disease has two species which exist primarily in the Northeastern and Midwest United States due to B. microti, and in Western Europe due to B. divergens. Reports of tick-borne cases within new geographical regions such as the Pacific Northwest of the US, through Eastern Europe, and into China are also on the rise.
This event will cover a variety of topics including the significance and prevalence of babesiosis species in tick-borne disease patients, the biology of Babesia, its clinical features, how to effectively diagnose, as well as treatment options and suggestions.

I treated babesia D 2 years ago with success. Today my Fish showed Odocoilei. The newer test lit this up crazy! Explains a lot!! Off balance, severe sweats. Eh! Another year of treatment. Grateful for my LLMD.

Been in treatment since 2016 although I’m sure I had the triad since about age 11.
Last spring I went into debt to finally get the Igenix test- $2000…. Came up positive for 2 forms of not typical strains of borellia & 2 not typical strains of babesia. Bartonella was not officially positive but it wasn’t negative which means it’s positive.
I definitely have dealt with pretty severe symptoms of all 3. And it cycles. We play wack-a-mole. Address one and the others rear up.
I get to enjoy usually 2 weeks to 4 months of feeling pretty good before it comes back. It sucks.
I’m so discouraged. Decided to abandon hope of ever healing from this shit- holding on to hope and constantly being disappointed is brutal.
I would just like to not feel like I’m dying, like I’m gonna collapse again.

Relapsing Duncani. Massive vascular failure causing muscle failure. You just touch parts of my body and the muscle ruptures.

If your in the eastern US you may want to get tested for Babesia odocoilei as Duncani is a west coast strain and It cross reacts with odocoilei! It's cronic and hard to kill Usally takes Arakoda and Mepron to put it in remission ! This study just came out!
Tlab in MD has the only direct test for it so far!

I have, per lab tests babesia rodhaini...I can not find very much info on this. I have slides of skin, blood, spit and anything else I can test. Things are growing in all these slides, there is a parasite that comes out of a perfectly oval pill looking...I'm assuming an egg sac. Is there anything you can tell me about this, I've had it for 7 years now, spent over a hundred grand to a Dr who dropped me as soon as I couldn't pay him the extraordinary fees. I'm still infected, I have no idea if I still have Bartonella...or lyme...I had anaplamosis too don't know about it either. All tests were done thru ignex in 2017. Thank you for your time.

Does anyone know what the muscle rumbling/twitches/vibrations are from? I have Babesiosis and Lyme for about 6 years.

I have a live form of this, and have PTSD from an adult mentally ill abusive son, so I don’t even want to see this, but I will. I’ve had quite enough of this nonsense throughout my life! 🙏🙏🙏
