Dude! For years! Didn't know this was a thing others had or knew how to talk about fixing! Holy cr@p! Going to start working on this on the werkend. This channel is so great.
THANK YOU!! I just recently got into yoga and something in my right hip snaps periodically when I straighten it. Worried that there was something wrong with my hip but i guess not!! Will start strengthening my hip flexors now
52 yo checking in. I've felt this my whole life. I just figured it was a consequence of having had my hips dislocated @ birth. Saving this video to see if I can achieve smooth moves in my hip movement.❤
I legit STOPPED doing certain exercises because of this very problem 😢 I thought my hips were just inherently bad. That if I continued exercising with the snapping, regardless, the problem would get worse. But knowing that I can fix it just changed my world
You are s better professional than all the traumatologists, kinesiologists and rehab "professionals" that I've seen over the last 2 or 3 years. Why is it so difficult to find a professional committed to the patients mobility?
I've had this snapping ever since I was a little girl, and it was just weird but painless. Asked a few doctors about it and they all brushed it off as "oh some people just have that". Now at 47, it hurts, and it hurts a lot! PLEASE I beg you, post more exercises for hip mobility and to stop this snapping. My frontal hip muscles are hard as rocks, and not in a good way - they are too tight, sore and cause pain when I'm sitting on my legs (like the Japanese drinking tea). Please!!! I need it so much!!
So helpful to see what is happening with the hip bones and how to strengthen BUT why do I have such pain?? Does it snap against nerves or something???🤔
I’ve experienced this snap for a few years after I dislocated my hip playing football, glad to see that this is a potential reason why and has a relatively easy fix for it and that I’m not going to have the body of a 70 year old at 17
I've always had trouble with my right hip. Because of a host of degenerative problems, I had it replaced. I'm still having trouble with some movements but I can shockingly almost get my palms to touch the floor. Even as a kid and working at stretching for months, I could only ever brush the floor with my finger tips
Have been going through this painless experience for years and was wondering what’s wrong with me especially cause it’s only on my right side and not the left. Thanks for clarification!! Do hip opening exercises help with this as well?
Hey man love your channel, so there is a snap and pop in my lower spine when I do that movement of extension you did in the beginning. What could that be ? Please make a video on that too. Thanx..
Omgness I thought I was the only one with this problem. How did this start? Another thing I suffer from is that my hip gos out from some movement I do.
Hi! I'm a bit confused after two videos of yours. This one makes me think I need to work on internal rotation of my hips but the one on flat feet vs high said this exercise and problem was for high arches and I have low arches. Maybe I misunderstood something.
I get that tendon snapping over bone feeling on my left pinky toe, more flat footed on the side and have less control and mobility what exercises help?
I started getting that snap after I injured it in martial arts. It became sore and sensitive for a few days and then started snapping every time I straightened my left leg. Is this fixable?
I like to think I know quite a bit about human movement ... and almost every video I watch on this channel I am left thinking "this just won't work". I'm trying to be open minded here but I can't help think a better solution for your listeners would be to emphasise exercises that lengthen/inhibit external rotators and strengthen/activate internal rotators if improving internal rotations is the goal? Obviously improving mobility of all hip flexors not covered by the above which is going to involve strengthening/activating their agonist too. Your videos just seem to provide simple non effective answers to very complex issues. Help me out mate ... am I missing something?

Same for me. Some thought I'm crazy trying to explain it
Same same same
Yeah, I avoided a lot of exercises bc I couldn't stand the sound or sensation.
You are really good at blending different teaching techniques to help different types of learners visualize and understand.. super great demos
Oh, my goodness! Finally someone told me the reason
I started working out regularly a month ago and this happens to me all the time. Thanks!
Omg 😭 almost 40 and that snap was a reality check !!!! Saving these 🙌🏻
Thank God I finally find the reason and even the fix!🎉

Super handy to know, cheers
THANK YOU
Thank you 😮
Thank you, I needed this help.
3 more of these videos and I get a chiropractor certificate
😂
What if the snap comes when you are externally rotated?
Like when you warm up and doing rotating motions
Close your eyes and Nicholas cage is telling you how to fix your hips
I feel like he could do a really good Nicholas Cage impression

My coworkers tease me for doing the "twist and shout" every day, but I'm absolutely popping my hips like this for comfort. Thank you!
Thank You Kindly.
I can't do a sit up without my hip snapping. I never knew how to fix it tysm
Im 60 and never knew! Always worried about it and tried to avoid hearing it!

Omg thanks, I've been looking how to fix this and couldn't find anything

I thought i was the only one 😭😭
The first time ever someone told me the reason! Didnt know others were experience this! Is there a name for this?
When i do the external rotation it pops even more😢
I have always had this, thought it was just me.?Thanks

Same here
@@BigAbraxxX did you find any solution for it?
Ty
It can also be your hip flexors grabbing due to instability.
I feel a snap in my knee - what's that about ?
Omgness I thought I was the only one with this problem. How did this start?
Another thing I suffer from is that my hip gos out from some movement I do.
Did someone ever told you that you speak a bit similar to Nikolas kage?... You remind me of him 🤯🤓
Came to comment this although it's Nicolas Cage

What about the opposite? I sometimes get a loud pop/click/snap when I bend my legs upwards!
I finally got an answer to this lol
What if that internal rotation is severely limited and painful?
Can you help me with my aching shoulders? I can't sleep face down anymore and I struggle to lift overhead
Yo I need some follow up…
What if the snapping is worse when you rotate the hip out??
I get that tendon snapping over bone feeling on my left pinky toe, more flat footed on the side and have less control and mobility what exercises help?
Nicholas "mobility coach" Cage
What about the snapping on the knee when it extends?
I've had this issue since a child. Recently found out I have anterior pelvic tilt, and low back pain. Are these issues related?
I click with each full movement on both sides
Why does my right sholder click when I do side laterals?
I have a big scraping noise when i extend in external rotation, what do?
Why does my lower spine snap/click like that.
I started getting that snap after I injured it in martial arts. It became sore and sensitive for a few days and then started snapping every time I straightened my left leg. Is this fixable?
I was 33 years old when I’m finally learning what I have 😭 I hate doing some exercises because of that snap. It doesn’t hurt, it’s just annoying
I have a slight hip snap when walking and increases the further I go. Is this related?
The snap happens when moving the hip in the external rotation for me
This happened to me today 😬
I'm starting to feel a clicking not a snapping so I suppose I should start some Work there😊
I don’t get the snap since I have had both my hips replaced. Lol
I have this. I just thought it was normal
I have AVN (stage 4) in both hips, can I do the sitting-standing exercise with weights 🤔
Ah that's me
i havent zero ir in my legs
Close up was extra
Omg yesssss
I feel a snap but its on my tailbone
Nah but my knee pops hard when I bend it.

His patient does not look very well
Alot of us older millennials coming here to watch this video. 😂😂
Your voice sounds like the one of Nicolas Cage😲
Nope
