Like the American hybrid artillery-missile system IM-SHORAD mounted on the "Stryker" armored fighting vehicle, the Military Technical Institute in cooperation with the defense industry of Serbia has constructed the most powerful version of the well-known PASARS hybrid system.
This most powerful version of the PASARS artillery-missile system is characterized by the most numerous combination of various complex combat systems that include the use of the "Bofors" 40 mm cannon, the air defense missiles "Mistral 3 ER" and "Strela-2M" and the guided anti-tank missiles "Maljtka 2T5".
In addition to the mentioned combat systems, anti-drone jammers, a system for arming timed ammunition that will be fired by the "Bofors" gun, as well as the antennas of the radar system under the designation RPS-42, which are used to detect all types of targets in the air, have been added to the entire PASARS system. short range, especially small-sized, low-flying and slow-flying targets.
It would be said that this is a PASARS on steroids that not even a needle can miss!
Kao po ugledu na američki hibridni artiljerijsko-raketni system IM-SHORAD montiranog na borbeno-oklopnom vozilu “Stryker” vojnotehnički institut u saradnji sa odbrambenom industrijom Srbije je konstruisao do sada najmoćniju verziju dobro poznatog hibridnog sistema PVO PASARS.
Ovu najmoćniju verziju PASARS artiljerijsko-raketnog sistema odlikuje do sada najbrojnija kombinacija različitih složenih borbenih sistema koji uključuju upotrebu “Bofors” topa kalibra 40 mm, raketa PVO “Mistral 3 ER” i “Strela-2M” i vođenih protivoklopnih raketa “Maljtka 2T5”.
Osim navedenih borbenih sistema na ceo system PASARS, su dodati i anti-dron ometači, system za armiranje tempirane municije koju će ispaljivati “Bofors” top, kao i antene radarskog sistema pod oznakom RPS-42 koji služe za detekciju svih vrsta ciljeva u vazduhu na kratkom dometu, a naročito malogabaritnih nisko i sporoletećih ciljeva.
Reklo bi se da je ovo PASARS na steroidima kojem ni igla ne može da promakne!
