I bought a mega 360 ice bundle for ice fishing. Its great for seeing the bottom, rocks, gravel, and other transition lines but I'm struggling to spot fish with it. Just not getting the settings dialed in. Most days I leave it at home as its so big and heavy to drag with. Livescope will also be big, heavy, and cumbersome but i wish now I'd have bought livescope instead. I thought mega 360 would suit my style of fishing better but hasn't quite worked out like I hoped.
Here's the issue (one of the many) - in reality, a person should have a Humminbird for 360, a Garmin for LIVE, and a Lowrance for misc. Each has its area of expertise... the area where they work best. That calculates to $15,000.00 minimum, just for the basics. But, it needs to be done. Anything less, a person is limited. If the boat costs ~$100K, what's another $15K-$25K? Get 'er done! And yes, after the secret is out, most of you won't have wives any longer! Prepare to pay! Ms. Humminbird, Ms. Garmin, and Ms. Lowrance - the three mistresses! Mr. Ranger, Mr. Vexus, Mr. Caymas... those are the pimps! Get 'er done!

I love birds but at this point it’s not worth just get another scope and put it as perspective
