    Ashley, you are amazing. Two of my second cousins were murdered on oct. 7, and I think I understand you in the weird position of fighting for justice for a relative that you didn't know that well. I hope you get to rebuild a closer relationship with her, the way I no longer can.

      This is so sad, and RIDICULOUSLY UNNECESSARY, a century (centuries) of war conflict and death for Muslims and victims, because they are not fighting for land or borders or social justice. They are fighting for mystical BS from Allah to re-conquer the holy Waqf, plus Mohammed prophesized that Allah won't open heaven unless they murder Jews.
      Sura 2922 Sahih Muslim (authentic) the Gharqad Tree verse
      AND
      Memri
      War of Faith to Kill Jews, Palestine becomes their graveyard
      this Hamas wife tells women Israel is an EXISTENTIAL crisis.
      I interpret that you mean ETERNITY in HEAVEN is on the line, and they only care about the Afterlife.
      Jews have a Holy Land idea too, but that means the land of 3000 years of history proven by archaeological evidence, plus Torah.
      "Palestinian indigenous people" were invented by a KGB psyop. They are Arab farmers and businessmen and religious scholars.

    Ashley, thank you so much for explaining how it is that Israel has turned to the right. I have heard many times that the Second Infatada was the end of the Left for Israel. You have helped me to understand this. Also, I enjoy watching you on the Israeli Citizen’s Spokesperson Daily Briefing. You are a great speaker! Yasmin, thank you so much for having Ashley on, speaking about her cousin, and helping to remind everyone that there is a hostage crisis still going on.

      Second Intifada skewed Israel to the Right. Oct 7 further so in terms of seeking “peace agreements” with Palestinians and recognition of a Palestinian state. It is completely understandable.

    • @DrivenByDetails
      @DrivenByDetails 3 місяці тому +1

      It’s important to remind people that the second intifada began in 2000, while Israel was waiting for the PLO’s Yasser Arafat (precursor of Mahmoud Abbas’ PA) to say YES to the Oslo Accords. Arafat, an Egyptian, deliberately lied about his intentions about peace between Jews and Arabs. Being the handpicked nephew of Haj Amin al Husseini, aka the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, he was the Arab leader who maintained extremely close ties with Adolph Hitler. He was the one responsible for urging Hitler to annihilate and exterminate, instead of to just expel the Jews from Europe. Arafat was al-Husseini’s nephew I believe. Arafat deliberately misrepresented the plight of the Palestinian people, a people who refuse to this day, to live side by side with Jews. That refusal continues to this day because it is written in the Koran, never to have Jews (or anybody else for that matter) in Islam’s midst. Mosques are closed to everyone. Islam forbids Jews to live in Arab lands, and so they include Canaan in that geographical area. Despite the fact that Israel gave the Arabs everything they asked for, the Koran stipulates you’re not allowed to negotiate with the infidels (Jews, the West, the enemy), unless you’re planning on attacking them later when their guard is down. This emulates what their prophet Muhammed did to conquer Mecca. He invaded Mecca two years into a 10 year pact of non-aggression. Had Arafat actually signed on to the Oslo Accords, then in the eyes of Islam, he would’ve been considered to be an infidel, and he would be killed. Knowing this, the only thing left for him to do was to think about how to distract the world from realizing he never had any intention of making peace with Israel, and his answer was blowing up school busses and getting people to martyr themselves for the Allah, and wear suicide vests. Not much difference between suicide vests and human shields, except now the PA pays a stipend to the family for life when someone martyrs themselves, to the tune of $16 million in 2023. father, which was blowing up school buses and things like that and blowing up people in malls and heavily traffic areas. If you listen to Mosab Yousef Hasan, who wrote the book “The Green Prince” or “The son of Hamas”, who was the heir apparent to the originator of Hamas, but when he was in an Israeli jail for 17 months, realized that Hamas was out of control, as he watched them torture co-religionists to death, purely on suspicions of collaborating with the Israelis, but had no proof. Mosab became a Mossad agent for 10 years, and he talks about how he was in the room when Arafat gave the order to start, what became known as, the second intifada.

    I'm afraid I have to disagree with the distinction between the Palestinian leadership and the people. The leadership is the people. It is a rare case in which they represent entirely the people's mindset. That's the main problem we don't want to deal with. 🇮🇱

    • @maltija1
      @maltija1 3 місяці тому +8

      Yes, I'm not Jewish, but I did think the distinction odd, given how many Palestinian Arabs are involved in keeping the hostages, working in hospitals which are covers for the tunnels, having arms caches in their children's bedrooms, how many cheered the dragging of hostages into Gaza and their immediate treatment of them, etc. etc. They're all in it together.

    i disagree that it'd be better if we didn't know about the systemic antisemitism. i was completely unaware of how deep it ran until October 7th, but i also experienced sooooo much antisemitism even way before October 7th that left me crying confused in my bathroom wondering why "anti-racists" were so blind to racism against Jews, and what it would take for people to finally take Jew-hate seriously. I even lost a bunch of close friends back in 2021 because I said that Jews are factually native to Israel. once i finally woke up and realized what was going on, i went from sad, to angry, to empowered. i've made much better friends since then. i would never go back to all that silent pain and confusion that i was forced to experience before.

      I agree it's better to know than to not know it's there. I still think it's a healthier society if the racism is suppressed, rather than freely expressed, but these flare-ups remind us that it's there, and we need to not forget this. The best scenario is to figure out how to combat anti-semitism and all racism from its root causes and fix that, and for this, we need to not forget its there, even if it isn't in a flare.

    Sorry to hear about your father’s dream being crushed- sincerely. Many Jew’s dream of a 2 state solution was likewise destroyed. Even today Qatar, Saudis, and Jordan refuse to contribute to the safety, security and stabilization of post-war Gaza. It boggles the mind the duplicitous rhetoric they spew.
    Thank You ❤️ Yasmine for giving us a voice. Our pain & horror has been silenced for the most part by efforts to erase us. Bring them home now 💔💔. The world has moved on but we have not- it is still Oct. 7 to a large degree until the captives are freed- both alive & the dead. We do not celebrate young Palestinians dying yet we cannot simply ignore the situation. It’s an impossible situation we must move ahead through regardless of the pressure against us.
    It is entirely understandable that Israelis think Trump is the best thing since sliced bread for the reasons given here. However in America he fails to garner the majority of Jewish votes because his values don’t align. Also, most individuals who are not ideologically driven politically and understand how antisemitism works see him as a very serious threat to America, Israel & American Jews.

    Thanks to Ashley for really describing the Israeli landscape. The divide of people's strategic perspective (prisoner exchanges, ceasefire, military solutions), versus everyone's hopes or end goals. Everyone wants security, and for their children not to be at war anymore. How we get there is the question that people debate. The attempt by other people to point to our 'left' to justify their ideology, or the radical right to justify their claims, is such a bad faith interpretation of Israeli thoughts, opinions, and political positions.

    Yasmine and Ashley, thank you so much for doing this video. I'm a Jew and I thoroughly believe that Muslims and Jews can get along beautifully together, and that the issue is not the difference in faiths, and not even ignorance, but something else - another "force" behind it. I found it very interesting when Ashley shared that she reached out to both Ilan Pappé and Norman Finkelstein, and that neither one replied, because as Ashley concluded they are not interested in a conversation. I would go so far as to say, that they are not even interested in truth altogether, and whatever it would take to resolve this conflict, but are carrying out an agenda for a power behind the scene that is interested in perpetuating this conflict. I put together this video to support my point of view, and would very much appreciate it you would watch it, and share with your audience if you agree with the message - feel free to post it and repost it on your platforms if you like it, and share it wherever you see fit: ua-cam.com/video/amWKXtYAnU4/v-deo.html

    Special, very touching and sobering interview. Having read Yasmine's page-turner "Unveiled," I think her lived experience (which I don't know if her dad was aware of) has probably made her more realistic about the "holy hate, lies & love of death" Jihadi doctrine than many naive, little informed Israelis. Indeed, tragically, many of them took a direct hit in Oct 7th. But even Yasmine still doesn't realize that there is no such Arab identity as "Palestinian" and that, taken from the British Mandate of Palestine-Land of ISR, today's Arab "Palestine" is a fake, obfuscating identity. As the assassinated Zuheir Mohsenn admitted, the Palestinian (Arab) identity was just a tactical weapon against "the Zionists" (ie, f....g Jews). BTW, the copy/pasted Jordanian flag meant to target the Hashemite Kingdom, against which the "Palestinians" launched a failed coup (during Black September 1970). Ashley is overlooking half of the Jews under the Othman Empire (which had districts, but no borders) and wasn't called "Palestine" (but the district of Southern Syria). Though not millions, a good number of Jews went to Egypt (like the family of singer, Leila Mourad), people who were, mostly, secular/traditional Jews. Way before the conception of "Palestine," there was the pseudoscientific "Aryan-Semitic Race Theory," and the absurd "Antisemitism," which was Hitler's "sophisticated" way of saying that the National Socialists are genocidal anti-Jews, Israel & Zionism racists. Which is why Mahmoud Abbas says that "Hitler was not really "Antisemitic," for, obviously, he, Himmler and alHussein--the Semite--formed the Waffen SS Arab Sword (Handschar) Division. Ashley is awesome, but she is unable to let go of her Two-State Delusion. All Israelis (hopefully, all others) need to understand that Islamist Peace = Total Submission (dead apostates, Jews, Kuffars, LGBs, Christians and obedient women). Which is why they have the new concept "Normalization Peace" which enabled the Abraham Peace Accords. People need to know that FACT that the word "Palestine" is not like tomato/tomahto. Before she was brutally murdered, Vivian Silver used to think like Ashley. Call them Arabs and let them pick a flag and an Arabic country name, before all other measures of de-radicalization. And watch MEMRI TV and Palestinian Watch to get a realistic idea of how delusional a "revitalized PA." is.

    The challenge for both Israelis and Palestinians is to control the Aholes within their societies. Percentage wise there are fewer such people in Israel. But the world sees something different. Israel is losing the PR war, especially when Jewish Holocaust survivors question how Israelis are fighting the war. Drawing similarities to their experience during WW2.
