Scarlatti. Sonata in Bb Major K 249 [Garritan Yamaha CFX Piano]

The Sonata in Bb Major, K 249, by Domenico Scarlatti, is an exuberant work that contains several dramatic moments including some very daring and dissonant chords which must have shocked and enthralled his audiences. The work is replete with striking virtuoso passage work and, together with some vibrant Spanish colouring, provides an exhilarating experience for both audience and performer (happily there are no hand-crossings!)
