Bro, if only HBO knew to make a react TV series, then they would have made the real big bucks.
Don't give them an idea.
The UK has had Gogglebox for 10 years now
There's actually already show about that. Gogglebox is reaction show about previous weeks tv programs. And it has won two bafta awards.
90 Day Fiance already does this.
It would be any random tv actor reacting to series from other channels (Fair use)
Was the video any good? I got bored halfway through and started typing this comment because there were no boom sound effects
Same
I love how the MCT's comment sections are became a collection of others MCT's video comments. Except for the last one, in that i don't see any already seen comment.
@@rufus4452comment section never misses, the absolute legend
@@rufus4452 He never misses, the absolute legend!
His tower makes an exciting noise when it falls. That really got me good. I'm going to save this video into a playlist so I can hear that boom when I'm bored.
Man carrying thing did an xqc and left, but came back carrying something. This was truly a reaction of all time.
but he didn't carry a man :(
@@poppers7317 You're thinking of his wife's channel 🍻
@@poppers7317Yes he did
Finally, Man carries thing
@@poppers7317 that's his second channel
I remember like 5 years ago when react channels were the bane of every original content creators existence. I thought we had beaten them, but I guess if there’s one thing that truly immortal, it’s laziness.
Until youtube starts putting restrictions on those lazy parasites nothing is going to change. YT won’t do anything about this cash cow tho.
I remember the time of Jinx
Yeah, i also find it a bit weird how reactions became more accepted as a type of content over the years.
@@diehard7517 People don't care as much if people actually put effort into reactions. The entire point of react content is to react, and there are people who actually do that. The reason Jinx was getting piled on so much because he did way less than the bare minimum. He would stare at the screen, smiling, for 10 minutes, and the entire time say like two words.
And then they start reacting to the reaction videos and then react to the reaction of the reaction video. Basically endless content.
There are two types of UA-cam react channels.
1. The guy just sits there and adds nothing to the video.
2. He pauses every 3 seconds, explaining, what just happened on screen.
So basically xQc and Sssniperwolf
And 3 which is like one in fifty where they actually are decent
@@Mastroni475 I was about to say. There are actually some that are decent. Like Blind Wave react to films and TV shows but they don't include the whole film/episode in the reaction and they have a discussion at the end of it which is usually about half the time or even the same amount of time as the reaction
@@joevictor53blind wave and reel rejects are great react channels. The discussion after the movie/episode ended is always interesting. They add a lot to their reactions.
@@joevictor53 >they don't include the whole film/episode
Because if they did, they'd get a strike and none of them want that. If this happened with every reaction video, reaction content would be much different than it is now.
Quality original content as always MCT!

You mean mCt right?
I’m just remembering when TheFineBros copyrighted the word “React”.
Attempted to and failed. Generic words cannot be copyrighted. They also attempted to trademark their format and were denied by the trademark office because show formats cannot be trademarked either.
@@BrunodeSouzaLinodidn't candy crush trademark "candy" and "saga" or something like that? And the nemesis system from shadow of mordor/war i also heard stuff about
@@ghoulsome9483 The first one would not hold its weight in court as all you'd have to prove is that the words "candy" and "saga" have existed before King trademarked them and are generic language words, just like how Stoic did when King claimed The Banner Saga would get people cofused because it had the word "saga" in it. As per the nemesis system, it could be patented if it's a programming related thing. That doesn't prevent people from taking it down in court if they can show proof that the same method existed before the patent had been granted by the applicant.
@@BrunodeSouzaLino thank you for explaining it
@@BrunodeSouzaLinoTaylor swift copyrighted a year and this sick beat lmao
The extreme amount of cuts hurt my brain
Oh thank God, for the first 30 seconds it actually seemed like this would be a 100% serious video and I got seriously worried.
Holy shit, Man Carrying Thing carried a thing. Truly one of the cinematic moments of the Manverse.
I totally support someone becoming a multimillionaire reacting to impressive and hilarious things other people made or did while people who actually make things get paid dirt.
I feel it really encapsulates the american dream and the long term cultural sustainability encouraging people to also make a living doing that is what makes this country great.
Its even worse when those same multimillionaires pretend and attempt to spread 'socialism'.
I am truly impressed by the amount of precision that man put into carrying that jenga tower.
I like watching political react channels because I getting different perspectives on issues I'm kind of insulated to, but the new meta of reacting to hasanabi reacting to a video of someone else reacting to a trump speech or something is the wildest shit ive ever seen. It's like watching someone devlop a second hand parasocial relationship lmao
That actually happens?
That's not new, that's been how political punditry has been forever. "This other pundit we don't like reacted to this politician reacting to a current event or issue, let's watch and discuss."
Politics has literally always been like that. It's just faster now, and you don't have to rely on mainstream news outlets to get you all that brain-melting goodness.
@@lucascova7875 I think the closest to that that I've personally seen is by someone who made an essay on react channels, and then posted some videos on her second channel, reacting to people reacting to her original video.
@@SamJNE122Is there anything wrong with that as long as the reaction was transformative though? I feel like there's a lot of insight to be had in how people would argue back against her video and how she would respond to those arguements.
@@calumbarry1829 I don't think so; I just found it funny. Honestly, (whilst they are technically a type of react video) I don't really have a problem with any response / critique videos.
Nobody forgive this man for his contravasial opinion on his last video that he had to switch off comments on
I love that xQc and other streamers talk about chat as if it's one specific person.
He never misses. The absolute legend.
"so yeah that's crazy" actually transforms the work from copyrighted into original material
source: I pretend to be a lawyer online
You really transformed this content into something unique and engaging with your creative and useful input!
I could immediately tell this was a parody because of the time length 😂
It’s really cool that you’re so active in your comments :)
I love the skit content, but do you think you’ll post a long-form video again soon :0
this month - something a little different
@@ManCarryingThing I’m looking forward to it! Have a great day :)
I thought this was a skit when I clicked. Then he started talking and I thought it was serious. Then he left and started playing Jenga and I realized it was a skit. He got me
I use the same socks, they are comfy as hell
Can’t wait to see xqc react soullessly to this epic jenga gameplay!
the whole jenga tower completely distracted me from the rest of the video
i was so wholeheartedly immersed and invested in that tower it's eerie
The jenga part was more interesting than the stream highlight.
Incoming Hasbro copyright claim for using that jenga gameplay footage
You really duped me, genuinely thought it was gonna be a serious video there for a second
I feel like your analysis came all crashing down at the end there, but the build up was great!
Thanks. This drew my attention from my five spinning fidget spinners for a second.
How can one be so comfortable admitting to thousands of people that his personality isn't entertaining enough, so much so that playing other people's videos is a better option?
Thank you Mr. carrying thing, this react video changed my life 🙏🙏🙏
It's so many of them. One person, watching another person, watching another person, watching another person react to another video of a person reacting. Interesting times.
It’s kinda like how the local murderer is watching my friend whole he watches me, watching you from the window, getting ready to pull an epic prank on you like the murderer is about to do on my friend.
Also don’t check the window, no one is there watching you.
I love it when youtubers pause the video every second and comment for the next few minutes on what they saw, especially when they comment on the quality of the "animation". This is not an "animation" but a slideshow. At the opposite extreme, there are youtubers who react so intensely to a scene that they don't pay attention to what is happening on the screen for the next few scenes. It's as if the only thing that matters is them and not how something affects them.
I still haven’t discerned whether this channel is about a man who carries thing, or if it’s about a thing that carries man.
I refuse to end this investigation.
Dark Viper Au and Man Carrying Thing combo video when?!?
i think this is probably the first time in more than a year and a half that i've been subscribed to this channel that i see jake carrying a thing
I love how at 1:34:01 he said "It's carrying time".
Really digging the double mic action
DarkViperAU is putting in some work.
Don’t think we forgot yesterday!
As soon as I heard xqc was from Quebec, it all made sense.
The cutoffs are amazing
Take a shot every time he says ok
The very few times I've clicked on an xQc reaction about something I liked or was interested in he clearly had zero interest in what he was watching, was barely paying any attention and seemed confused at points where he really shouldn't be.
I have no idea what people find so entertaining about him, he seems like he is willfully basking in his ignorance because he's realized that it makes him a stupid amount of money.
Seeing MCT carry Jenga pieces makes me ask: has "Man Carrying Thing" ever reviewed Tim O'Brien's "The Things They Carried"?
Reaction channels are the laziest UA-camrs who are stealing others content and getting paid for to watch. UA-cam should only pay people for original content.
Both you doing what you don’t like about reaction channels and turning off comments on the video about turning off comments is why I’m subscribed
Impressive he carried the jenga tower over there.
The thing is Jenga. The thing man carries is JENGA. What a reveal.
I wish when you said "all angles" you then cut to a very different angle. Loved the video 😂
I wish i could install an add on that filters the word "react" from all youtube recommendations bc i will never click a video with the word react in the title except this one because why would i watch someone else react to a video when i can just go find it and watch it myself
UA-cam would never add that, they don’t even give us an option to block people.
This video has jacksfilms energy and i love it
Clicked for your input, stayed for your shirt
Ironically this was very transformative
I've personally always hated react content, even before it became the meta it is currently. Though, that's not to say I have an issue with discussion-style react videos. If you have plenty to say, and you are commonly pausing and reflecting, and are able to round up some sort of valuable addition to the content at the end, then it's fine. Though, it's more complex than even that, because it is also sometimes fine to merely laugh, and barely say anything, it of course depends on the context. If it's some billion dollar companies trailer for their new product, or a song, you owe nothing to that content, because those things benefit from exposure; the whole point of a trailer is to be wide spread, and a song is something you interact with more than once, maybe even 100s of times.
The issue we face, is when someone puts in time and effort into a piece of content that is designed to be appreciated just once or twice, such as a skit, a review, a machinima; especially if they're particularly small scale in popularity. Then you need to be willing to bring real addition to the content. In my personal opinion, a good way for UA-cam to force this type of respect, is to make react content copyrightable, but only if there are not enough cuts; if when comparing the original video to the react video, the similarity in audio and visuals is too high (a threshold that should be decided by someone more qualified then I), then the video should be content ID'd, and 100% of the money should go to the original creator.
Good luck buddy.
There was a Brazilian youtuber who criticised these kinds of React Channels recently, and he was basically crucified.
Cinnamon Toast Ken reacting to Penguinz0 reacting to whatever the subject is:
Man was actually carrying thing
How do I watch this video without reacting to it help.
That’s the greatest shirt I’ve ever seen. Where did you get it?
Need the crossover where xQc reacts to your reaction of his reaction to his reaction.
I love this channel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This was PewDiePie reacting to the Phineas and Ferb squirrels in my pants song in a nutshell
I thought this was gonna be a bit then it wasn't a bit then it become a bit. man carrying thing, you are making me confuzzled.
KEKW
And also, Twitter: Man actually carrying a thing broke the internet
Blink and u miss it moment: You can briefly see the thing than man is carrying
Take a shot every time a youtuber edits a cut in their dialogue because they can't complete a sentence
I was going to type something for the dopamine hit of getting likes but I realize now I don't know what I just watched but I got wave 37 on Ultrakill
Everybody gangsta till he pulled out the janga
Worst about the xqc response is that people arent complaining about he streaming the reacts but him uploading it to youtube to steal ads and views from the original video
Wait, the man was actually carrying a thing.
This might be the single highest quality video I've ever seen of yours.
I agree with Man Carry Thing’s point of react videos representing man’s inhumanity towards Man.
Listening to Hasan and Ethan on The Leftovers rip into xqc for being a slightly lower quality version of themselves was such a crazy moment of witnessing two adult men project for an hour
I mean they actually give commentary and pause the videos they watch constantly so I’d say that’s significantly better quality. They’re literally both known as the two guys on the internet who pause videos more often than anybody else. Except for maybe “YourMovieSucks” who is essentially The Pause King! 🤣
That moment when he shouted aaaahhhh, truly a moment of all time, ur now my favourite reactionier of all time
how is this xQc guy even famous? I don't understand half the things he says.
Hes kinda like the Kardashians. Famous for nothing
MAN CARRIED A THING
I don't like the inaccurate portrayal of react streamers here. You played a whole game of Jenga while a video was going on in the background which is way more work than a react streamer would do.
This video could very well fit on the maybe maybe maybe subreddit
Actual commentary giving insight is just "real time" review, and that's fine. However, many "reactions" are degenerate and the more popular they get, the further UA-cam gets from its creative roots. How amazing this site was, is something kids growing up with UA-cam now could never even imagine. I remember when the only popular channel was Fine Bros(And they turned out to be absolute POS) around 2011, many made fun of them for being unoriginal and getting big off of just filming people watching something. But what stooped below them was random people upload videos of themselves with a reaction watching something and that's all there was to it. I mean, who the hell are these people? Who do they think they are? Others build stories, skits, ideas, animations, productions, personalities and get creative to the point that each of them were very distinctly their own style. They were forgotten and just left in the pit of below 100 view videos no one wanted to watch. And it should have stayed that way.
I’m just glad we can comment on this one
the ultimate reaction: when the streamer (man carrying thing) is more interesting than the video. we dont need other react streamers, guys. we've peaked.
He never misses, the absolute legend!
I'm a big fan of reaction channels, but even I can see some of their negative parts. I never understood why mukbangs got so popular. Watching someone eat didn't seem fun to me. On the flipside, watching a person experience a piece of media for the first time, specifically one you like, feels euphoric. I also enjoy these channels because they help with loneliness. They aren't a permanent solution but they are a distraction if say you enter the weekend with no social plans. My main problem with reaction channels now though is that they have transformed into a business via patreon for most of them. While they may enjoy doing it, plugging your patreon in every video comes off weird. I've even seen people plug their patrron on their first few videos. That alone is just a little bit phony and soulless and whatnot. But a lot, I mean a lot, of reactors have either bland or overly obnoxious personalities. Remember, loud doesn't equate to funny. But yeah, it seems like there's no uniqueness or creativity in a majority of the videos.
Playing Jenga while watching someone else's stream is basically the same as someone playing someone else's stream with some random ass video game on the bottom of the screen.
UA-cam should add a feature where if a reaction channel wants to make a reaction video to a video they are allowed to delete the original video so they could react to it and nobody can watch the original version.
So much said with so few words.
Well done 👍🏻
Still not over that other video where you sarcastically turned off the comment section. 😂👌
Guy Holding Object never misses! 🎉😂
That clip of xqc is fucking incomprehensible
Cannot believe he finally carried thing
Man carrying Jenga tower
Very eloquently put!
Another brilliant video I think. I don't really know I had it on my second monitor while playing some games or whatever.
My man just using two hands on Jenna, what is this
Ngl I’ll never understand how xQc got popular beyond just being the guy in meme clips. Like I can’t understand what he’s saying half the time, watching him is like watching a video in a foreign language without subtitles, how is that enjoyable content?
I love how they all admit that their content is garbage when they're being criticized... and then they do absoutely nothing to improve.
the obnoxious cuts!! lmao
I cannot believe XCQ got a $100M contract and one of the first things he did was react to The Dark Knight on stream with the literal video of the movie playing and got DMCA'd. Like... $100M... can you at least TRY TO DO SOMETHING on your stream for that money?!
why try when you can get millions for not doing shit regardless
Man, that was crazy.
My low attention span couldn’t have let me watch any other videos on this topic. Thank you Thing Carrying Man
