it's always the same song, but with different instruments:
Dead Center: Banjo
Dark Carnival: Some kind of tuba I guess
Swamp Fever: Violin
Hard Rain: Kind of guitar/harmonica
The Parish: Trumpet
Hard rain is a banjo and bass guitar the guy who created it commented on a post of what he done
falloutworldrecord dark carnival is a saw believe it or not, swamp fever is fiddle, hard rain is violin
Sorry
THIS ONE BY FAR IS THE MOST SUPERIOR MENU THEME. IT AS ALL THE RIGHT NOTES AND DEFINITELY GIVES YOU THE FEELS OF SADNESS OF A PLACE ONE FULL OF GREAT TIMES(at least popeyes makes it seem like a great place)
@@TheExperienceYT that makes it feel just right being the last campaign
This is the real song of the Apocalypse... You see all of the people who have died from something, unnatural, and they are infected, leaving only you, and the other survivors you found...
@@Cargo_ae its a class 4 in CEDA. They only named it a flu to prevent mass panic. Would you want the purge to happen because of mass panic?
Austin Richards
Well sometimes the zombies just die for absolutely no reason, even if you didnt attack them
I like it how every campaign suits with the menu music
Dead Center: sounds like you were trapped inside of a building and hoping you could escape it, the survivors went inside a mall, lets say the mall is the
"building"
Dark Carnival: sounds like an abandoned amusement park, full of kids yesterday, doomed today, the survivors went through Whispering Oaks amusement park
Swamp Fever: sounds like you were lost inside a dark, gloomy, forest, while a serial killer is haunting you, the survivors crashed near the swamp and finding their way out of it
Hard Rain: sounds like a casual music to listen to while a heavy rain is outside, the survivors must find gas cans to refuel Virgil's Boat(or Virgil) in order to get to New Orleans, however a hard rain(no pun intended) occurred on their way back
The Parish: sounds like a festival for the dead, New Orleans is having a festival when the Green Flu outbreak happened, the music also sounds like the music you play in a Frenchman's funeral, the survivors went to New Orleans(or Nawlin's) in order to get rescued, but what they saw there is an overrun CEDA evac site, a ruined festival, and the military bombing in order to contain the infected throughout the city
If they created a menu music for The Passing, it could be a ballroom themed music mixed together with the Left 4 Dead menu, but it's a DLC and it's not free for non-PC users :(
Edited to fix some minor grammar and spelling errors
Of all the L4D2 menu themes, this one sounds the most depressing of them all.
Please, play this on my funeral
Thank you virgil,Cuídate hermano
This theme adds that sort of atmosphere where there is little hope, humanity has been overrun by a virus, and as the four survivors continue to fight, they grow tired.
They think they are at the end... They are at the end... The end of their lives...
when new orleans falls...it all goes south
when it's the last day of school and you leave your friends saying goodbye and this song comes on
I want to know what happened to the L4D2 survivors.
Connie Attanasio Cold Stream is not canon though.
Just like the light house survival in L4D1.
I can imagine either two outcomes: Outcome a is that they were taken care of by the military, as they originally set out to do. Outcome B is that they were executed for being carriers.
John Smith in the lore, I think they have an island for immune/survivors.
This is one of the best songs in the game. It gives you that feeling of all hope being gone. Love it!
Y que eres el único sobreviviente que queda para combatir contra los muertos 😢y poder sobrevivir del apocalipsis
28 people went north...
This sounds like a final version of the theme, as in it’s the end
Still my favorite peice from the whole soundtrack. Hearing this after years of not playing left 4 dead 2 hits hard
Thanks Virgil
You cant evacuate people in fighting jets
You can't send a rescue chopper with low fuel to evacuate survivors if you kill them all with an fighting jet
Its the soundtrack that scares me
My favourite theme out of the lot.
When this pops up on the menu, it feels like im playing the demo version of this game
I like how L4D's music pretty much picks a key and sticks to it.
The film age effect is a nice touch. Not necessarily because of the style or effect itself, but because it adds movement, animation, to the logo background. Thus it's more interesting to look at than a standard audio clip's still-image background. /random note
The Best Game EVER...
This song and the other songs hold so much memory. I loved this game. I loved when I screamed at the tank with my friends. I loved when I raged because I died from said tank. I loved startling the witches, starting the hordes, and raping all of them to the rescue vehicle. This game is one of the best games I played. Period.
Naive teen to grown adult in one small comment thread. Fucking crazy. Hope you still play.
My favorite
Glad To Know That People Still Comment On Left 4 Dead 1/2 Videos, Its Nice To Know The Game Is Still Alive Considering These 2 Games Were my Childhood and Probably All of Us watching (listening to music) Left 4 Dead Too
My favorite chapter ❤️
Coach: that zombies wearing armor I WANT ARMOR
"No hope... no hope...... ;_;"
All the descs of the campaigns. (of L4D2)
Dead Center:Prices are not the only ones getting slashed
The Passing:Nobody Survives Forever
Dark Carnival:You must be this tall.... TO DIE!
Swamp Fever:The only cure is dying.
Hard Rain:Come Hell and high water.
The Parish:This time, it all goes south.
When your whole team is dead and your two steps from the safehouse and a smoker gets you....
I just imagine someone floating trough space playing the saxophone
This music is making me cry
When you have to leave a teammate and feel all of the guilt behind it:
Why did I think this music was normal it is my favorite game I played and when I heard this I thought it was normal
"This time, it all goes south"
GF: Baby, I want to go Paris.
The Paris:
I swear if they dont play this at my funeral, seriously..
The last time the survivors were seen alive.
This song just makes me sad, played this on xbox a long time ago and then moved over to pc (even though it was just a decent laptop) This menu theme always stuck with me the most for some reason, can’t forget left 4 dead.
This takes me back to when I was in 1st grade and started playing this games demo non-stop
This isn’t the beginning it sounds like the beginning of the end.
Just brings me back truely an unbeaten game the multiplayer, character design, and all it just soo good
Its all calm. . . . Then Someone activates the car alarm
Good times
reminds me of a funeral
My friends have been killed by zombies, I'm badly hurt, bleeding out. Bye. That's been my last journal entry. Me, signing off
Valve knows how to get to the heart.
I am thinking of memories of my cousin as we were small.
Wspmnienia remind me of the old days: P
The is my favorite out of all the main menu soundtracks
*this time it all goes to south*
I just noticed the breaths between the trumpet sounds, really adds to the creepiness.
I hope the series doesn’t end here. A new game would be so much fun dude.
I like how you added the old film filter on the pic. It also looks like you feathered the picture. Nice touch.
For some reason, I always feel this is a song on Red Dead Redemption
for any death instead of the normal death music play this for if the whole team is there on the corpse and when her trying to defib it
"Rescue 7, are you seeing any uhh.. "Whiskey Delta" on west bank?"
That Final Level it's a do or die moment
"Está ves...todo se a venido abajo"
before we cross this bridge does anyone wanna talk about a plan b?
no
Awesome song!
This is my favorite, definitely
Que melodiaaaa tan solidaaa demostrando que tratas de sobrevivir entre los muertosss y vivas mas

I love how this sounds like smooth jazz
This is my favorite one.
Alexa, Play this at my funeral
This is one of my favorite game menu soundtrack cause it's like there is no hope for you to survive.
24 people fell on the floor instead of the bus rooftop and self-incapped themselves.
The Big Uneasy.
this and dark carnival are my favorites
This song gives off Actual apocalypse vibes...
*This time it all goes south*
you guys ever have that feeling where you see stuff in video games that would be TERRIBLE to happen in the real world(bioshock,l4d,l4d2, fallout 3), but at the same time you think its badass and want it to happen?
"This place full of jazz became a place full of dead"
@GMGargantua Coach also quotes the bible in Swamp Fever's first chapter while on the ferry crossing the water.
POV: you get kicked from the server and this is all you hear
Uncle Ruckus joins the fray
Always hear this when chosing the right mutation.
thumps up for awesome insterments
*Look Ellis a TRACTOR*
This sounds like the main theme to Medal of Honor: Zombie Invasion
"Last time I saw my grandmother, she asked me was I still a praying man.. I told her.. yes ma'am. Well she says.. pray harder! Cause it ain't working."
- Coach
I think you pwned him enough. Good job. :)
