Definitely MMA at least 2018 and 2019 2019 was basically a 37 minute BTS concert at an awards show ... and it’s BTS so the details and meanings behind it all 🤯 mind blowing performance and stages - especially coming from the US. We have nothing comparable here.
I love the feeling and energy of this performance (especially how "We Are Bulletproof" hits differently now with where they're at, like before it was almost a promise but now its just facts) but this performance is like a drop in the bucket compared to MMA 2019. I can't tell you how many times I've watched it (40 something minutes long) and I've never not been blown away by the end.
For me, Jimin caught my attention because he's so beautiful, has an angel's voice and his stage presence it's so strong and mesmerising I swear I didn't take my eyes off him when they performed bwl in snl. then I watched one of their interviews bc I'm the kind of person who likes to know the personality of the people I want to be fan of, the thing is he didn't have pink hair in that interview so I was lost and didn't recognise him at first glance but one of them also caught my attention bc of his pretty smile and nice personality turns out it was Jimin. So yeah, ever since that day I became a fan of him and no one have come close to take that spot he has in my heart, he deserves the whole world 🥺

First of all, that wasn't their full performance, they performed other songs after this 😂 please watch the rest of it. 2nd, i'm pretty sure everyone was talking about MMA 2019 (Melon Music Awards) not MAMA (Mnet Asian Music Awards) though they are both amazing but BTS go even harder at the MMA somehow. Please watch 2018 first then the 2019 one because NOTHING will ever live up to the greatness of MMA 2019 performance after watching it (it's 37 min long by the way)
Answering your questions: 1. Yes Suga slipped, their jackets weren't done and shifted on him cause he was supposed to stand on them and then jump down. 2. First song was N. O. it criticized the SK school system and parental pressure on students making them ignore their dreams. 3. I knew my bias right off (Jungkook) but I easily became OT6 which means that at anytime the other members can impress you and become a favorite. 4. That is BH's in-house band Ghost. Whenever you hear a live band with BTS anywhere usually it's Ghost.

I chose my bias even when I didn’t know their names, I just liked Jimin, his appearance and dance and vocals. But then I fell in love with each of them and feel like they are my family. Jimin is still number one, but others are really close to him. This performance gives me chills every time
To me this is one of my favourite live performance. I think it was particularly special that BTS decided to perform the two songs from their rookie days, back when they didn't get much time on stage and got literally cut out of shows. It must've given them so much satisfaction and they did so well! Everything from the way they looked (I mean they're just wearing blazers and tshirts but daaamn) to their attitude and confidence was just top notch.
This performance just blew me away, i love all the choreo and the dance break in we are bullet proof pt2 was amazing and my ult bias Jimin just amazed me like he always manages to do
I started with Jimin 3 years ago and quickly add each member one by one as I learned more and more. Now although I tend to watch Jimin more frequently, I care for all 7 equally now. I respect the fact that each member brings a special quality to the group. I am an OT7 all the way🥰💜🇺🇸
all armys have "biases" but we're all OT7, meaning every single one is ultimately our favorite, lmao. we might feel personally pulled to one or two more than the others for whatever reason, but we love all seven equally. And our biases definitely can change!! For me, the moment I watched a BTS video for the first time, Jimin caught my eye and my love for him deepened once I got to know him, but about a year and a half later, Jungkook decided he wanted to become my bias too, lol !!! It was a struggle, and I took another year and a half to admit that Jungkook was also my bias in addition to Jimin. Like you said with Namjoon, you feel personally connected to him. That's totally what a bias is !! A bias is who you feel connected to, who you look to first during a performance, etc. It doesn't mean you like him more than the others, but you just *feel* something different when watching/listening to him.
Yes! 👏 JK was my first bias (thanks to MIC Drop & Dope) but the more I started to learn abt them individually, it naturally switched to Yoongi .. but I definitely have 6 bias wreckers who attack on the daily 😁 Also, I've never felt or been so fully invested in a group like this & can't fathom how anyone is anything but OT7 ultimately
The first ones i noticed were RM and Jin before Jimin became my bias when I got more into the group. After a little while Jungkook absolutely snached me up and became my bias, making Jimin my wrecker instead. Now JK is my ult bias (meaning he is the bias over any other biases that I may have from other groups as well) and I know that that will never change. But ofc om OT7 as well, I have so much love and respect for each and every member of BTS
I started with V then Jimin...then just like you love them all. Jimin is my favorite because of his contemporary dance talent that is so amazing and breathtaking and ethereal and lyrical !!!

It seems that every year they add something heart dropping and gut punching to their performances at THE MAAMA & THE MELON MUSIC AWARDS SHOWS. I love that these two performances are a throwback to their earliest songs and the crowd went wild! The Award Shows in Korea are spectacular. Even the camera angles add to each artists show. American Award Shows could learn from there example...
Now you understand when you become a fan...you are a fan forever. Their vocals, choreography, music, compositions, productions, and content just gets better and better and literally heart stopping!!!!
I have never been able to pick a bias. I relate to all of them in different ways and I want to be friends with all of them. I bias all 7 and I don't think that will ever change lmao. They are all good enough to be incredible solo artists.
This choreos were so powerfull and epic but sadly the camera didnt caught it in full, hopefully you will get to react to the dance practice of this amazing songs which were literally the full representation of what BTS stand for lyrics and choreos will never be forgoten
It was Jimin bias for me the long time then I started appreciating the rest of them one after the other and now I love ALL of them but he was still the guy for me. And then Suga came in swinging with his second mixtape and Daechwita and bias wrecked me haaard. By now it’s either two of them or either one depending on a time of the day. XD

one thing that everyone, fans or not need to admit is that bts is the best in performing live. they put out 200% of everything for the sake of live performances. idk how to stress the word efforts but nobody (as far that i concern) can beat these guys in putting out effort for their art and performances.
I love them all but V took my heart at first sight during the Dynamite Dance Practice. That was the very first BTS video I watched and never looked back since. These guys are AMAZING!
For me it was absolutely Taehyung (V) that drew me in at first. Then Yoongi (Suga) decided to make his presence known pretty early on and I just could not chose between them, so now I am double-biased. lol But I love all seven of them. Once you get to know them, how could you not?
I absolutely get you when you say that you feel a strong connection with RM, I also see a lot of myself in him and feel almost like we share a soul sometimes, as crazy as that sounds. I have a twin brother so I now what it means to be deeply connected to someone, and even tho I of course can’t compare my connection to RM with the one I have with my twin, I still feel like I understand him on such a personal level, the thing he says, the way his mind works, how he carries himself. I love of 7 of them with all my heart and since the first time I got into BTS in 2016, I have “changed” my bias a lot in the beginning but in the end I always come back to Namjoon because I feel so connected to him.
I genuinely relate to this, it feels oddly deep and I find it among all Namjoon biased Armys, he feels so reachable almost, like not a celebrity, but a personal friend you can reach because he is so Authentic 💜💜🤗🤗

Taehyung (V) caught my eye at first in their Carpool Karaoke segment. Then when Yoongi (Suga/Agust D) dropped his D-2 mixtape, he was it for a few weeks. By now every member has caught and kept my attention quite easily, so I don't really have a set favorite/bias. Each member brings so many valuable things to the table artistically and personally. Based on what they choose to share, I vibe with all of their personalities in equal but different ways. They seem to do that within their own friendships which is so cool too. You can't recreate or mimic what the members of BTS have individually or as a group. They're it.
I'm coming for you when I watch that - I'm counting on you that it will be even better! I'm just a fan of great music in general moreo than the YT stuff. Glad to have found BTS.
you gotta watch the music mvs for these songs...so epic. this was an amazing performance which is true for all their live performances, but this was an awards show, not a concert...no one's doing it like BTS.
I feel like I'm the only person here that likes this performance more than the MMA 2019. but this doesn't take the fact on what everybody is saying MMA is a really great performance too! In short, BTS just have so many outstanding stage and its hard too choose one!

Thank you for your positive and honest opinion. I only happen to like BTS from Korea. Their life concerts are so good. I never regret following BTS. They are so versityl. I like Life concerts. I've been to Bruce Springsteen, Tina Turner, U2, In This Moment, Nightwish etc.
They are all special and bring something to the table, but Jungkook has always been my bias since the beginning. His vocals get me every time! All of them bias wreck me though. All of them are handsome, humble, talented, hardworking men!
The bias thing is an ongoing thing, even after a year has passed since I became Army. Jungkook, Jimin and Jhope caught my attention at the start - they're such powerhouse performers it's almost impossible to miss them. Then as I got to know the members themselves better, RM & Jimin became my bias and stayed my bias for over a year now with the rest as bias wreckers. But now ever since SUGA (Yoongi) released D-2 he has been slowly creeping upon my heart and is my bias wrecker now although I think he may soon become my bias. They are all just so amazing and incredible, both as artists and as people that it's impossible not to fall in love with all of them. Hence why I'm OT7 i.e. I love all seven but I still connect with some of them more - my biases

Tommy, I really enjoy watching your BTS reactions, it is a joy to see your enthusiasm and excitement ^_^ First I would also recommend you watch something more recent and really interesting (other than the MMA or MAMA since there are many recommendations in the comment section). It is the BTS Tiny Desk Home Concert, on the NPR channel on UA-cam, they sang some of their songs including Dynamite with their live band, and hearing them sing their song with a live band hits so different, it is so so good. Second, I don't know if you heard about it, but Jimmy Fallon hosted (virtually) BTS for a week and they performed 5 of their songs for the 5 day BTS week, and even though I heard these songs multiple times, they still managed to blow me away with their spectacular sets and amazing vocals. I do hope you can also check these out. Lastly, I am sad to hear that you did not watch their online concert, Map of The Soul ON:E, they held on October 10 and 11, because you really would have been left speechless as all of us are still till today because of their outstanding performances. They performed 23 songs for a 2h30 live concert, revisiting some of their debut albums and also including their latest album Map Of The Soul: 7. It was really amazing, I have no words to describe how jaw dropping and mesmerizing these performances were. I really wish you would have seen it. Hopefully if BigHit decides to download it on its official app, I will let you know if you would like to check that out (most probably it would a paid feature, but still really totally worth every cent of it, and I watched both days, and that was the best experience I ever watched online). i been army for more than 3.5 years now, and even if you have a bias it wont matter in long run, cause it gets impossible to like one more than the other.
You should react to their jaw-dropping performances at the MMA, especially 2018 and 2019. You'll be so blown away and forget it's an award show and not a BTS concert!
The MAMAs are good but the MMAs!!! The MMA performances are ON ANOTHER LEVEL. Like their 2018 and 2019 MMAs are some of the best live performances I've seen in my entire life.
I very much enjoy seeing you enjoy the members' music & performances and appreciating the art they produce, at all levels. Re 'bias': Living that OT7 life! V drew me in, then they all began to fascinate me in different ways. 7 months in to being ARMY, J-Hope (Hobi) started to really be in my face and drawing my attention. Eventually, for merch collecting purposes, it's prudent to have one member to focus on. J-Hope brings sunshine and smiles. Reminds me to do the same. So, I say I am OT7, but Hobi hopped in my pocket. But there 7 days of the week, so they each take turns constantly making me awestruck. Nonstop fun! 💜

BTS' live performances are always mind-blowing. they never fail to show the best. i can't even imagine being there and seeing it live live! and also i feel you! first i said yes jin is my fav, then i was like but i like jimin too and not much longer i just fell for all of them. their personalities and their art is irresistible.
I started my BTS Journey knowing them as people by watching their variety shows, vlogs and stuffs before delving into their music, I knew right away that Jin is my bias because of his wit, humor (he is funny af), and his outlook in life is what I strive to have. He will always be my forever bias. I love all of them tho, and a lot of times I also jump between each member, its like my bias is one member each day of the week. 😂 Yes, a BTS TRASH is what we call ARMYS like me. XD My favorite lyricist - Namjoon Favorite producer - Yoongi Favorite live stage performers - Jhope and Taehyung Favorite vocals - Jungkook Favorite dancer - Jimin My favorite person - Kim Seokjin (altho I love his vocals too when he sings ballad songs)

Just to let you know, but these two opening songs for their set at the MAMA 2019 were hints for the album they were getting ready to release in February 2020. These two songs, "N.O" and "We Are Bulletproof, Part 2" are songs from the first two mini-albums and both songs were revisited in their Map of the Soul: 7 album in "ON" and "We Are Bulletproof: The Eternal". Incidentally, in Map of the Soul: Persona, which was the EP that came right before Map of the Soul: 7, their song "Boy With Luv" is a revisiting of a song from their third mini-album "Boy In Luv". There are actually a ton of other ways they reflect back on their past 7 years together in that album... a real masterpiece!! 💜

I never had a favourite. I've been ARMY since 2016. Now, during V's vlive something incredible happened... at the end of the live, RM came into frame while V was listening to BoysIIMen, End of the Road, as soon as he began singing along, tears just fell and fell. And it happens every time I watch it. So, I don't know if RM became my bias. If it was the mysic from my teen years... not able to explain it.
I was the same as you where I chose V as my bias because he reminded me of myself like his sense of humour and how he acts, especially his younger self. I still love every single member, but V is my bias because I can relate to him the most.
YES I connect with our President the most, Namjoon👑 (RM) but most of us are OT7, we love all the boys equally and BTS wouldn't be BTS with even one missing. But I relate the most to Namjoon's way of thinking and his charisma in everything 💜 but I love the other members a lot and they Bias Wreck me all the time and they all are fantastic😃, so yes this song is old and they did it even better than I expected, the choreography is no joke💥💥💥

tommy... i feel you on the bias thing. my first bias was rm for sure but slowly it started shifting everytime i watched something. currently my bias that will never change (at least i hope so) is jhope, he's been my bias for almost 2 years (in january of 2021 it's gonna be 2 years) but jungkook and suga are also very close there. i will say that the rest have all been my biases at one point or another lol they're just all so likable

A bias is who you feel connected to, who you look to first during a performance, etc. It doesn't mean you like him more than the others, but you just *feel* something different when watching/listening to him.

JK was my first bias (thanks to MIC Drop & Dope) but the more I started to learn abt them individually, it naturally switched to Yoongi .. but I definitely have 6 bias wreckers who attack on the daily 😁
Also, I've never felt or been so fully invested in a group like this & can't fathom how anyone is anything but OT7 ultimately
The first ones i noticed were RM and Jin before Jimin became my bias when I got more into the group. After a little while Jungkook absolutely snached me up and became my bias, making Jimin my wrecker instead. Now JK is my ult bias (meaning he is the bias over any other biases that I may have from other groups as well) and I know that that will never change. But ofc om OT7 as well, I have so much love and respect for each and every member of BTS
I started with V then Jimin...then just like you love them all. Jimin is my favorite because of his contemporary dance talent that is so amazing and breathtaking and ethereal and lyrical !!!
Jimin caught my eye from the very very beginning, but I wasn’t able to pick a bias until I got to know them all. Jimin ended being my bias, so my initial gut feeling was correct
my BTS bias is whichever one is directly in focus at any given moment. they're all amazing in different ways.

It seems that every year they add something heart dropping and gut punching to their performances at THE MAAMA & THE MELON MUSIC AWARDS SHOWS. I love that these two performances are a throwback to their earliest songs and the crowd went wild! The Award Shows in Korea are spectacular. Even the camera angles add to each artists show. American Award Shows could learn from there example...
Now you understand when you become a fan...you are a fan forever. Their vocals, choreography, music, compositions, productions, and content just gets better and better and literally heart stopping!!!!

It was Jimin bias for me the long time then I started appreciating the rest of them one after the other and now I love ALL of them but he was still the guy for me. And then Suga came in swinging with his second mixtape and Daechwita and bias wrecked me haaard. By now it’s either two of them or either one depending on a time of the day. XD

one thing that everyone, fans or not need to admit is that bts is the best in performing live. they put out 200% of everything for the sake of live performances. idk how to stress the word efforts but nobody (as far that i concern) can beat these guys in putting out effort for their art and performances.

For me it was absolutely Taehyung (V) that drew me in at first. Then Yoongi (Suga) decided to make his presence known pretty early on and I just could not chose between them, so now I am double-biased. lol But I love all seven of them. Once you get to know them, how could you not?

I absolutely get you when you say that you feel a strong connection with RM, I also see a lot of myself in him and feel almost like we share a soul sometimes, as crazy as that sounds. I have a twin brother so I now what it means to be deeply connected to someone, and even tho I of course can’t compare my connection to RM with the one I have with my twin, I still feel like I understand him on such a personal level, the thing he says, the way his mind works, how he carries himself. I love of 7 of them with all my heart and since the first time I got into BTS in 2016, I have “changed” my bias a lot in the beginning but in the end I always come back to Namjoon because I feel so connected to him.

Taehyung (V) caught my eye at first in their Carpool Karaoke segment. Then when Yoongi (Suga/Agust D) dropped his D-2 mixtape, he was it for a few weeks. By now every member has caught and kept my attention quite easily, so I don't really have a set favorite/bias. Each member brings so many valuable things to the table artistically and personally. Based on what they choose to share, I vibe with all of their personalities in equal but different ways. They seem to do that within their own friendships which is so cool too. You can't recreate or mimic what the members of BTS have individually or as a group. They're it.

The bias thing is an ongoing thing, even after a year has passed since I became Army. Jungkook, Jimin and Jhope caught my attention at the start - they're such powerhouse performers it's almost impossible to miss them. Then as I got to know the members themselves better, RM & Jimin became my bias and stayed my bias for over a year now with the rest as bias wreckers. But now ever since SUGA (Yoongi) released D-2 he has been slowly creeping upon my heart and is my bias wrecker now although I think he may soon become my bias. They are all just so amazing and incredible, both as artists and as people that it's impossible not to fall in love with all of them. Hence why I'm OT7 i.e. I love all seven but I still connect with some of them more - my biases
I am OT7 but Jimin had a huge part of my heart when I first started being an ARMY and then JK came for me also and took a huge part of my heart. All of them have 100% of my love but both Jimin & JK have additional extra special love from me!

First I would also recommend you watch something more recent and really interesting (other than the MMA or MAMA since there are many recommendations in the comment section). It is the BTS Tiny Desk Home Concert, on the NPR channel on UA-cam, they sang some of their songs including Dynamite with their live band, and hearing them sing their song with a live band hits so different, it is so so good.
Second, I don't know if you heard about it, but Jimmy Fallon hosted (virtually) BTS for a week and they performed 5 of their songs for the 5 day BTS week, and even though I heard these songs multiple times, they still managed to blow me away with their spectacular sets and amazing vocals. I do hope you can also check these out.
Lastly, I am sad to hear that you did not watch their online concert, Map of The Soul ON:E, they held on October 10 and 11, because you really would have been left speechless as all of us are still till today because of their outstanding performances. They performed 23 songs for a 2h30 live concert, revisiting some of their debut albums and also including their latest album Map Of The Soul: 7. It was really amazing, I have no words to describe how jaw dropping and mesmerizing these performances were. I really wish you would have seen it. Hopefully if BigHit decides to download it on its official app, I will let you know if you would like to check that out (most probably it would a paid feature, but still really totally worth every cent of it, and I watched both days, and that was the best experience I ever watched online).

i been army for more than 3.5 years now, and even if you have a bias it wont matter in long run, cause it gets impossible to like one more than the other.
You should react to their jaw-dropping performances at the MMA, especially 2018 and 2019. You'll be so blown away and forget it's an award show and not a BTS concert!

I very much enjoy seeing you enjoy the members' music & performances and appreciating the art they produce, at all levels. Re 'bias': Living that OT7 life! V drew me in, then they all began to fascinate me in different ways. 7 months in to being ARMY, J-Hope (Hobi) started to really be in my face and drawing my attention. Eventually, for merch collecting purposes, it's prudent to have one member to focus on. J-Hope brings sunshine and smiles. Reminds me to do the same. So, I say I am OT7, but Hobi hopped in my pocket. But there 7 days of the week, so they each take turns constantly making me awestruck. Nonstop fun! 💜

I started my BTS Journey knowing them as people by watching their variety shows, vlogs and stuffs before delving into their music, I knew right away that Jin is my bias because of his wit, humor (he is funny af), and his outlook in life is what I strive to have. He will always be my forever bias. I love all of them tho, and a lot of times I also jump between each member, its like my bias is one member each day of the week. 😂 Yes, a BTS TRASH is what we call ARMYS like me. XD

Just to let you know, but these two opening songs for their set at the MAMA 2019 were hints for the album they were getting ready to release in February 2020. These two songs, "N.O" and "We Are Bulletproof, Part 2" are songs from the first two mini-albums and both songs were revisited in their Map of the Soul: 7 album in "ON" and "We Are Bulletproof: The Eternal". Incidentally, in Map of the Soul: Persona, which was the EP that came right before Map of the Soul: 7, their song "Boy With Luv" is a revisiting of a song from their third mini-album "Boy In Luv". There are actually a ton of other ways they reflect back on their past 7 years together in that album... a real masterpiece!! 💜
N.O. was their debut song. Every album they put forth seems to match or top the previous one. I like watching the 2019 MMA performance with Dionysus!

I never had a favourite. I've been ARMY since 2016. Now, during V's vlive something incredible happened... at the end of the live, RM came into frame while V was listening to BoysIIMen, End of the Road, as soon as he began singing along, tears just fell and fell. And it happens every time I watch it. So, I don't know if RM became my bias. If it was the mysic from my teen years... not able to explain it.
I was the same as you where I chose V as my bias because he reminded me of myself like his sense of humour and how he acts, especially his younger self. I still love every single member, but V is my bias because I can relate to him the most.
YES I connect with our President the most, Namjoon👑 (RM) but most of us are OT7, we love all the boys equally and BTS wouldn't be BTS with even one missing. But I relate the most to Namjoon's way of thinking and his charisma in everything 💜 but I love the other members a lot and they Bias Wreck me all the time and they all are fantastic😃, so yes this song is old and they did it even better than I expected, the choreography is no joke💥💥💥

tommy... i feel you on the bias thing. my first bias was rm for sure but slowly it started shifting everytime i watched something. currently my bias that will never change (at least i hope so) is jhope, he's been my bias for almost 2 years (in january of 2021 it's gonna be 2 years) but jungkook and suga are also very close there. i will say that the rest have all been my biases at one point or another lol they're just all so likable
