    I have the Pioneer Jack and it is the most difficult knife in the pack to open; I have eight different Jack Wolf Knives. I will give the Pioneer Jack time to break in (e.g., open and close 1000-4000 times). To date, the Venom Jack is my favorite. Cheers.

    Very well said. It's fantastic and really a byproduct of the design that it's not as pinchable. But it's definitely something to point out. Thanks

      They’ve brought tons of ppl to the traditional space that never would have given them a chance. I think that counts. Also i needed a title that matches the name haha

      I know guys love the ti and handle materials here. I just miss the magic of the GEC days where you could jump on preorders…get a spot. Also way back in the day KSF would have a plethora of patterns to buy. You could spend hours looking and researching. In this you have options again but so expensive. Yeah there is Viper and Lionsteel but meh. Im not sure how these sell on the secondary? I assume they lose a good amount of value unless a sought after pattern? C. Risner seems to be doing a good thing as well.

    Using any knife during a move is going to be an ultimate testament. I really enjoyed the video bro. Would love to hear your opinion of the kingpin. I’ll have to search your channel and see if you ever did one. Congratulations on your move.

    Moved, eh? You carried boxes and cut cardboard?! 🤯 Definitely been years since those office soft baby hands lifted something heavier than your desk purse/satchel. Ice those muscles and moisturize those delicate hands, pretty boy-I have to look at them after all ☹️
    Apparently “sodbusters” were early American settlers and pioneers who broke and cultivated the difficult soils of the American frontier during the 19th century. Over time the term became associated with the knife that was suited/used for this type of work…

    Beyond my comprehension the fascination with an extremely expensive slip joint made by an undisclosed china manufacturer. Pena designed slip joint made by Reate, 160 bucks. Viper Knives Hug, Italian made slip joint, 150 bucks. Wonder how many youtubers paid for every single jw knife they own ???

    • @LeftyEDC
      @LeftyEDC Рік тому +2

      What Pena is $160 in Titanium, fat carbon and S90v? You pay for materials and finish. You can definitely get a cheaper one but it won’t have these materials and finish quality. I’ve paid for atleast half of the ones I currently own, maybe more. You don’t have to like them, but have you handled any? Are you just upset about the price? Give one a try, you may be surprised and there is definitely a tangible difference in quality between these and anything else I’ve tried including Pena and Italian made.

      @LeftyEDC Рік тому +1

      @@FU-fy2snso thats a no, u haven’t handled one. Got it. You can believe my enthusiasm for the product or not, ur choice. The price is fair based on the materials and distribution through dealers. Pena sells a lot direct. Its not Reate. It’s cool if you don’t want to like Jack Wolf, but assuming things about the price and myself is just asinine.

      @@FU-fy2sn The few people who accuse JWK, which is a small, boutique brand, slipjoint company that is still relatively new in the knife game, of having enough cash/funds on hand to pay the dozens of reviewers who showcase his knives on their channel, while also supplying the model of the knife they are releasing for free, are truly operating at room temperature IQ😂. WE knives can't even afford to "pay" reviewers for every model they release but you think a micro brand slipjoint company is doing that with dozens of reviewers and supplying a knife as well? Get real, you all sound salty and just because you can't fathom a slipjoint commanding a high end price because you've never handled one, doesn't just automatically mean that they don't exist. They are certainly high end; why do you think they sell out every drop?
      Also, What the hell do you think every knife company does when they send a product to a reviewer? They send them for free; as in FREE of charge because the reviewer is helping them get word out for showcasing it on their channel. There isn't one channel on youtube that doesn't get free knives sent to them directly through whichever company/brand happens to be reaching out. Metal Complex, Neeves, Wayne Sharp World, Lefty, the list goes on, all disclose in every video that the knife is being sent ON the company. You expect reviewers to tell companies "oh no Kizer/Bestech/WE, don't send me that new model for free after you just offered. I want to actually spend the hundreds of dollars for every knife, every single time you release one, in order to show them on my channel..." lmao get real, every channel gets free knives; Jack Wolf sending them to reviewers isn't any different, and you're just lost if you think that's not the case.
