Here is a new video with the presentation of my two new acquisitions, the V160.7 and V160.8 of the Havelländische Eisenbahn (HVLE) 😎😎
These were made by @TTBahn75 and look simply brilliant 👌
In total TTBahn75 has made 3 pcs. Machines (V160.1, .7 and .8) made for a model railway colleague and me.

Many of the locomotives taken out of service by the DB were taken over by the Alstom factory in Stendal. The vehicles were refurbished there according to customer requirements and offered in different versions with the original engine or alternative engines, e.g. with an MTU Friedrichshafen engine with 1877 hp / 1385 kW [5], and control systems. Optional conversion to a top speed of 100 km/h was offered, such machines were designated as class 203. The locomotives could be bought, leased or rented. At the customer's request, they also received new superstructures or additional equipment. In the meantime, hybrid variants were also introduced. These locomotives were equipped with electric motors, a diesel engine with 238 kW drives a charging generator, unused energy is stored in a battery. The locomotives are offered as 203.7, four locomotives are in service with the MEG. Many former works locomotives (pre-2000 exclusively) have also been rebuilt, some with significantly modified superstructures. In 2015 and 2016, respectively, the last locomotives of the "East-V100" and "West-V100" were converted. Instead, the Alstom H3 is now offered, which is also manufactured in Stendal.
Former 110 446 from 1972, after rebuilding now in service with the Montafonerbahn as 203.1.

Super interessant und ich lerne immer gerne dazu. Ich finde die Vielseitigkeit der Epochen und Spuren in unserem Hobby so herrlich, auch der Umgang auf unseren Kanälen wo sich alle Spuren und Epochen finden.War auch schön verständlich von dir formuliert das Hintergrundwissen über beide Maschinen, gerne mehr davon.
