@@Sasha-vb3mh I had Maye as the top QB coming out especially ceiling wise. It may come to that. Maye throws the best deep ball I've seen. Receiver room is full of a bunch of hood rats for the most part. The whole org culture has now become hood rat. Pats lucked into maybe the best pure passer that has come into the NFL in a long time. Mahomes is a magician and J Allen is the best combination of size, strength, athleticism and arm strength to ever come into the NFL at least since Elway. If I was Maye's agent I'd let him finish the year and demand a trade... not that it will happen but the Pats are a dumpster fire. I wonder if Curran would trade May now for JJ McCarthy and a 1st rounder to the Vikings or a 1 ,2 , and 3 to the Panthers?

Totally agree. There is a difference between confidence and arrogance, and in some cases, between arrogance and clueless, delusional arrogance. Many of these young Pats receivers have a ton of attitude, and an ounce of performance. Good players flip that ratio to be heavy on performance and light on attitude.

The biggest source of dysfunction from someone talking like an idiot to the media is literally the head coach. How are the players going to stop acting like idiots if their “leader” can’t speak as well as the 22 y/o rookie qb?

Belichick claims this is the "same defense" with which he had so much success, but it was that same Belichick-led defense which allowed Buffalo to have the NFL-record flawless game in the Wild Card playoffs: no punts, no turnovers, no field goals-just a touchdown on every drive. That's your soft defense right there, Bill, thank you for your comments.

The plan all along might have been to simply use Brissett to develop the wide receivers during the season as Maye develops. And work on the relationships between Maye and the recievers through the 30% first team reps. Then learned that it was a lost cause with Jacoby, and recievers were going nowhere, and now they're all learning together with Maye in real time.
