Four hours of driving today so I could get my Checkpoint in the color I wanted. Got home a bit late, so now I’m gonna probably watch UA-cams of other riding their Checkpoints all night! Lol Can’t wait to actually ride mine!

Currently I am riding a hybrid bike, but I am really looking at getting a drop bar entry-level bike that I can do gravel trails and Roads with…. Any suggestions for entry level trek bike meeting those requirements? Look forward to more adventure and advice videos coming from you in the future😁🚴♀️

Hey, please can you advise your height and frame size? Might be buying the 2021 SL7, but Trek size guide is a bit off, I usually go for a size 56cm for all my previous frames but size guide is advising I'm a bit too tall. Thanks
Hey! So I am 5’11” and I ride the 56cm. I cannot stress enough getting on the bike before you buy it! My gravel bike BEFORE this was way too big because the shop guy convinced me it was the right size, but it really impacted my ability to ride technical terrain and it hurt my body. It can be really challenging off road to be on a bike that’s too large!! How tall are you?
@@erinohagain9841 hey Erin, also just under 6ft, spoke to a few SL7 owners around my height, everyone was advising not to go with Trek size guide which was a 58cm (I've only ever went with a 58cm once and wasn't quite right)....was unable to have a test ride as couldn't find that size in stock near me, so took a small punt and went with the 56cm....it fits perfectly!! Absolutely love the bike, and thank god I didn't go with 58cm 🙂 thanks for the reply, keep up with the great vids 👍
Yes!!! I do bike fits on all of my bikes because it makes such a huge difference! I actually need to have another fit on my road bike since it’s been well over a year but I can’t recommend them enough!

I say get the best bike you can first whether you race or not . If you love to ride don't waste money on the cheaper bikes.
