Well done guys! So very proud to be one of your closest allies in the struggle against terror and tyranny! On behalf of the UK, I salute you all. Least We Forget! God bless!
So fantastic to see a TRADITIONAL marching band - no "front ensemble" playing mallets on the sidelines, no stationary props littering the field; just solid Big 10-style marching and great ensemble playing. New show every game with well-planned and executed formations. Congratulations!!
I mean, there is a decent difference between a Marching Band and a Drum & Bugle Corps, especially talking about DCI Style which is more or less a marching concert band.
I don't have a problem with marimba up front or that much front ensemble. I find it ridiculous when bands try time go Broadway. My daughters high school band has a tap dancer this year. Which is stupid in my opinion. I don't term this to my daughter. Maybe I'm ok with front ensemble bc that is what my daughter does in full disclosure.
Unfortunately even when you can watch the whole game on TV they still don't show the halftime show. There's a bunch of talking heads and in the background you see little tiny flashes of the marching band. It's always irritating but today with the 20 yr 9/11 anniversary it was down right disrespectful and unpatriotic since the show was a tribute of that day
They never show the half time shows they want to do their telling head thing instead. Thank you the Ohio State university marching band for doing this for all of us band fans not talking head fans.
PBS use to show the game and half time show but been a long time ago and now they don't know the game! Kinda liked it, there wasn't all that chatter! Think the broadcast was from the radio! Anyhow I miss it!! 😭
Wonderful performance! What a beautiful tribute to that day and to our armed forces. I am in awe of how you guys can play that well all while making the amazing formations! That takes real stamina and talent!

@@petemann idk man honestly I've had ads on hulu that are interactive-ish, meaning you pick what you want the add to be about. If they can employ that technology and the consumer (us) can choose whether to watch the show or the regular ole halftime discussions, I feel like they'd make more money. Would be a marketing win.
Im not a particulary OSU fan although i sometimes watch the games. But their band is just awesome. I wanna go to Ohio to see them in reallife that would be so awesome. Greetings from The Netherlands🇳🇱❤
This was pretty amazing as a former DCI I love watching all of these halftime shows I wish they were televised! I know it sounds taboo but should checkout Michigan’s halftime tribute for 9/11 i was kinda in awe about it lol but that’s about it
The thing I wud like to c is the Wolverine band and the Buckeye band preform together doing the heads of Bo and Woody. No love here but loads of Respect.
Let's hear it for the Oregon special team players who came out early and spent 4 minutes on the sidelines watching a great halftime show -- not going on the field and warming up like other visiting teams have. Now if only the OSU cheerleaders and team can stay off the field until the band completely exits.
Funny you mention the Oregon players for end of halftime, since a small group of them walked right through the formation near the end of pregame. Hopefully someone went and told them afterwards that's a big no-no around here.
Not since Spirido Louis ran the first marathon of Greece to warn of danger and died relaying the message the Fire Service of New York state tried their best to save the twin towers, they did their warrior best. Great performance by ohio marching band🤘freedom marches
Too bad a handful of the OSU players can't show some respect for the message of this halftime show or their own band ... walk onto the field halfway through the show and stand there - bottom left on the 15-20 yard lines. Then start tossing the football near the band as it "unfurls" its final piece - the US flag. Not classy, guys.
The show is well done but it doesn't really have an honoring 9/11 theme to me.... No mention of the Law enforcement, firefighters, or EMS personnel killed. This really seems more like a veterans day type half time show to me. Love the band but feel like this could have maybe have been done differently.
Ohio against the World, SMDH. There could've been something pre-game. Networks don't let us see any of that or the halftime. I don't need talking heads to tell me what I just watched plus their opinion on everything, same talk all day long. I'm thankful the band uploads to UA-cam to watch.
Respectfully, they only have so much time allotted for halftime, I imagine they debated for a long time on what they could actually include within that window of time. It would have been nice if they could have extended the time allotted for just this one game but unfortunately the world doesn't usually work that way.
I’d have to agree with you no one ever recognizes the firefighter police or EMS unless it’s something that is done by them no I’m not saying this just because I’m a firefighter and emt but because the men and women who risk their lives every day on the home front are never recognized just the ones who go away from home not the ones who show up when you need help at your home or in your every day life
@@mufd1356 I can't talk about other people, I can just say that I'm grateful everyday for ALL first responders. I personally have called for help many times. At different times my family has needed Police, EMT/Paramedics, Firefighters, Doctors/Nurses. Every time there is a story on the news I thank God there is someone there to answer the call. I come from a military family (Father, 2 Brothers, 3 Uncles and 2 Grandfathers) so understand well and appreciate them all.

You said it for me -- if you saw the OSU band 50 years ago, it was the same.
Honestly, I’m tired of seeing DCI wanna be with all these props and tech and what not, it’s nice to hear authentic music

Thanks for sharing this halftime show on UA-cam. The only way the rest of us fans can watch the halftime show.

Absolutely agree! Talking heads never entertain me but especially today they could have shown some respect!!!
THE BEST DAMN BAND IN THE LAND!!! To bad we had to listen to the talking heads... so disrespectful on this day.
Thanks for showing the half time show! The network didn't think it's important enough to remember 9/11! 😭

the networks are all pushing anti-american agendas now so this isn't surprising
God bless college football. If the NFL put on a half time show, it'd be about what a terrible country the US is.
It’s not political or media bias. OSU has been putting on the best marching band shows for decades. Glad some of y’all are finally taking notice.
PBS use to show the game and half time show but been a long time ago and now they don't know the game! Kinda liked it, there wasn't all that chatter! Think the broadcast was from the radio! Anyhow I miss it!! 😭
It's good to see there are still some people who are proud of the USA!
I'm not a OSU fan but their band is brilliant. I would kill just to watch this band in person.
They are truly amazing to see in person!
I was able to see them perform after my hs marching band played at osu in 2019 and it’s really amazing
WOW! Be still my band geek heart! As a company, you show me that there are some that have not forgotten. God bless you and PLAY BALL! 🇺🇸 🎼 🏈
One of the top two marching bands in the world.
Wonderful performance! What a beautiful tribute to that day and to our armed forces. I am in awe of how you guys can play that well all while making the amazing formations! That takes real stamina and talent!
The Best Damn Band in the Land has done it again! Beautiful job, as usual!
Good to see TBDBITL back on the field with 110,000 spectators cheering them on. *Love this band and missed them sorely during the pandemic.*
God bless everyone of y'all

They'd have to pay a LOT of money to air the music.

They can’t show band on TV because copyrighted music, I wish they could but that’s a big reason they don’t put them on
@@blazaking2176 there are ways around that, especially if the band director created the show/music
Nice to see y'all back on the field again

thank you so much for sharing this and paying tribute. God bless all
Very well done! Go Bucks!

Been watching several behind the scenes and go pros of the band... I’m a Ohio band fan now❤️

Absolutely beautiful! My favorite college marching band. It’s so heartwarming to see our younger generation’s love for our beautiful country! ❤️🇺🇸
I love marching bands and Ohio State has one of the best. Watch on UA-cam as I live in CA. Phenomenal!
Outstanding!!!!!!
Amazing formations
What a beautiful tribute! Thank you for such a wonderful show & THANK YOU for not being woke!
Being woke and being patriotic are not mutually exclusive. In fact, I'd argue the opposite.
Amen
@@michaellarson7694Thank You, Michael!!!
So amazing how they do that, I'd be wandering off on my own lost out there!
That was amazing!! Could watch that again and again.
Best band in the land, luv it.
Well done! From this Wolverine fan, very nicely done!

I would rather watch this than a celebrity singing.
Great half time show
Love this

Yes, however, see the halftime show that tops them all, so far this college football season ua-cam.com/video/85BBY9HxPG8/v-deo.html
