Michael and Jagger sound so good harmonizing together.. Its a funky bluesy wildly fun song.. And how odd that I saw so many disparaging comments about this collaboration on some social media post. They're both such soulful rousing entertainers and hearing them singing, and wooping it up with the singing and spoken parts with an entertaining swagger is a trip.
Fun fact: This was "The Macho Man" Randy Savage's theme song when he wrestled in Continental Wrestling Associate (in Memphis) a few years before joining the WWF. OH, YEAH!
When Michael Jackson couldn’t be touch with his vocals… I forgot how perfect it was and Mick Jagger fit just right on this song, bravo guy’s we miss this Music!!…🦾
It when will be great if Mick and micheal right along with Freddie .singing this state of shock.however I like how this video were put together good job
It is I who am in shock to see these beautiful pictures of Michael. legal partner with Mick Jagger. but Michael continues and will continue to be King Michael forever. Michael we love you forever.
I love the Pepsi logo so much better in the 80's. I don't know why in the hell they changed it after the 90's. I hope they bring that classic logo back, keep it, and never change it again. If they can bring back "Crystal Pepsi", they can bring back the old 80's logo.
Man, every time I see an old video or performance of MJ like this, not matter how many times I've seen it before in the past, when I return to it it blows my mind. MJ was a weirdo in person, but as a performer he was the embodiment of cool. He was so cool it almost doesn't seem real. It's like his coolness was something not of this earth...a supernatural, god-like level of cool. The man was a genius...and even that's not enough to describe what he was like as a performer.
@joneszepower Freddie was originally meant to sing the duet with Michael on the Thriller album. I believe there are several postings of Freddie & Michael's demo of the song posted out there.
This tune came out my senior year in HS at the height of Jacko-mania. I was also a huge Stones fan so this seemed like the ultimate collaboration when it came out. I still have the 45. Hearing it now I must say it has aged horribly and barely even sounds like a song. But it's still worth hearing only for the fact that it's Jagger and Jacko together.
Julia Lundell Freddie mercury is my favorite artist after Michael Jackson, and truly respect him above all others. Freddie did record the demo with Michael and it was meant to be sung by Freddie and Michael ... but the song is credited as written by Randy Hansen and Michael Jackson.
I stand corrected. I must be mixing my memories of junior high and high school. It appears that it came out in the mid 80's during my junior/senior year in high school. Do you think there were two versions? I thought it was after "Off the Wall" and before "Thriller".
Mj is my fave artist ever but despite his awesome talent and all that what I really remember is that when I was younger I was convinced I was going to marry him lol
La canción con Freddie Mercury a lo que tengo entendido nunca salió al aire, Freddie hasta lo dijo en una entrevista, que la iban a grabar pero por cuestiones de tiempo y giras no pudieron entonces la grabó con Mick Jagger
I stand corrected. I guess I'm mixing my memories of junior high and high school. I guess it came out during my junior/senior year of high school but I could have sworn it was in the late 70's and not mid 80's. Do you think that there were two versions?
@MegaCrazycatt the original had Freddie mercury instead of Mick Jagger but since he was in Munich on tour Michael asked Mick then Freddie made his version wit Michael
@@elisabethgreene2002 it was common in media reports at the time. Google it and you'll see. Mick is basically a blues singer so Jackson sort of had a point. He wanted Freddy Mercury to do the song and "settled" for Jagger.

Fun fact: This was "The Macho Man" Randy Savage's theme song when he wrestled in Continental Wrestling Associate (in Memphis) a few years before joining the WWF. OH, YEAH!

It is I who am in shock to see these beautiful pictures of Michael.
legal partner with Mick Jagger.
but Michael continues and will continue to be King
Michael forever.
Michael we love you forever.
The Pepsi promo at the beginning is the shoot where Michael burnt his scalp. Many believe this was the moment that changed the man, forever.
Isn't 1:07 when his hair caught fire? It looks exactly life that tape. Did he finish the pepsi commercial after he healed or something?
I love me some Michael Jackson
The King 👑
Love the song.. especially the guitar❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥 Awesome❤❤❤
"POP, TEM STILO! NINGUÉM CONSEGUE IMITAR" DEIXA STAR.
We love MJ forever and always!
This was made by The Jacksons & Mick Jagger it's on the Jacksons victory album

Michael Jackson was basically Mick jagger,Sammy Davis and James brown

Is this a music video, or an advertisement for Pepsi-Cola?
Not sure why radio doesn't play this song anymore--at least not where I live.
This isn't the actual music video, it's a video of a commercial for Pepsi the Jacksons did separately
DAMN I LOVE MICHAEL AND THE ROLLING STONES!!!

Michael Jackson was not a weirdo person, he was a misunderstood one.
not weird in Person....I know I was a Radio DJ for 53 all over the USA, in Dallas 1984 I Introded Him hahaha I know BETTER!!!!
Like you knew MJ? He was not a effing weirdo! Low self-esteem maybe.
Fantabulous the work itself! I just even subscribed at the channels of them all and at the yours too.
@joneszepower Freddie was originally meant to sing the duet with Michael on the Thriller album. I believe there are several postings of Freddie & Michael's demo of the song posted out there.
This song reminds me of Buena Park, CA summer 1984
this song was written with Freddie Mercury and Jackson.... shame Mercury doesnt sing it with Michael:(
search youtube..
Brocq_18 yes they do but only demo version...but thx for info :)
this song was written by michael jackson and randy hansen, guitarist.

Hi there. Off The Wall came out in 1979,Thriller in 1982/83. This song came out in 1985 I believe-shortly after I graduated HS.
@MrInsignificance you mean the one that set michael's hair on fire?
Mj is my fave artist ever but despite his awesome talent and all that what I really remember is that when I was younger I was convinced I was going to marry him lol
Ahhhhhh screaming MICHAEL

curti muito essa musica.
@MegaCrazycatt the original had Freddie mercury instead of Mick Jagger but since he was in Munich on tour Michael asked Mick then Freddie made his version wit Michael
After Michael & Mick recorded vocals for this Michael said of Mick " he sings flat.. how did he ever get to be a star?" what a fool.
I don't believe that. Do you have any evidence for that?
@@elisabethgreene2002 it was common in media reports at the time. Google it and you'll see. Mick is basically a blues singer so Jackson sort of had a point. He wanted Freddy Mercury to do the song and "settled" for Jagger.
