Your consistency is phenomenal! How do you maintain and sustain the cold, ruthless, sniper-like adherence to your plan and not spiral into tilt when executing your plan especially amidst normally frustrating and off-putting trading piss-offs like partial fills and software glitches? Your monk-like approach to trading is inspirational!
I agree. I'd love to see more videos on his psychology and how he keeps cool and how he's so consistent.

I often wonder though, when you read the charts and watch for the “1,2,3 on the 1 minute” and read the level two data, how much of this could be automated or written with a program?
I’m an engineer at heart so I guess I’m always looking to automate what I can haha
Thanks Brian! Nothing for me is really automated, it's not as simple as finding any 123 pattern out there. I focus on gaps so I have to know what's happening on the larger timeframes as well.
Hi James, thanks for taking the time to put up videos. I have a question. How many trades do you do a day? Also if you're risking $500 dollars what R are you trying to aim for. It seems like you're taking profits for less then 1R with high win rate. Could you correct me if I'm wrong?

Hey Couloir, it depends what's out there for me on that day. I may take 20 trades one day, then only 2 trades the next. There's no set number of trades I look to take everyday. As for Rs, I mostly take trades that have the potential reward of no less than 1.5Rs but preferably 2Rs. And no my management is not taking profits early with high win rates. What you may saw in this video is just me getting partial fills so my profits may seem smaller.

Hi James, thanks for your video. May I know how you short those low float stocks in TD ameritrade? As I often find those low float stocks are HTB in TD.
He uses Etrade for that purpose.
do you think its better to trade small caps instead of large caps?

Hey J! Curious Q: your Cash balance starts on Monday with 167k and ends on Friday with 170k but you made 16k. Maybe my math are way off but i cant compute there?
That’s his E*trade account totals which he only uses for hard to locate shares, so he probably only made 3k or so for the week in that account.
Hey Fubar I trade on two accounts and the one you're looking at is Etrade which is my secondary account I use for only shorting htb stocks. The bottom one is my main account which is with TDA.

@@EU-ol4tk Oh I see it! Yea Etrade is known to have some glitches like that and I would have to refresh it all the time. But no I did not give back 17k haha.

Hey J Trades, yes I have tried options. Not that one is better than the other, but I just personally found more success in stocks.

this looks like an absolute magic, to the point where it almost seems like a fake :\ I've been diligently waiting for setups, checking for frame alignment, checking for prior resistance areas, so basically everything should be right... But 8 out of 10 setups end up not working. Even if they look like they do initially. Buy setup with previous highs as a target? Pops that initial candle but the momentum doesn't last too long and it reverses. So these paper cuts pile up and end up overweighting profits from successful setups. I have no idea how you do this -- keeping trades that didn't work close to 0 =\
