I would like to point out that there is a MASSIVE difference between manners and kindness. Some of the cruelest people in the world can have perfect manners, and some of the kindest can be the most impolite, unceremonious people in existence. Now I believe that this young lady is both well-mannered AND kind, but they are two very different things. That being said, politeness is absolutely a superpower. I've worked in customer service my entire life and I know well the difference between what you give or receive if you're polite, Vs what you get if you are rude. Manners are an excellent investment in a much easier time.
