Journey live in Houston 1981, every single song is perfection!
I have this concert on DVD, (I collect full concert videos) and it is hands down one of the best concerts in my collection. One of the few bands that are talented enough to sound as good live as on the album
I got to see some great bands in concert in the 70's and 80's but Journey is the one who got away. My wife (then fiancee) got to see them in '83 and I couldn't make it and I'm still feeling that. Love me some Journey!

You really MUST WATCH Mother Father from the same concert. Not only does Steve exceed even his own vocal range but the rest of the band all have their moments to show what fantastic musicians they are...I Repeat....MUST WATCH!

STONE IN LOVE- LIVE HOUSTON 1981!!!!!!! Another sick track from that show. Saw them in Sept 81 in Buffalo, open for The Rolling Stones at Rich Stadium. Shitty weather, wind and rain. They gave the Stones a run for their money!!
Anything from that concert will do you right. They were spot on that night, and it was perhaps Perry's greatest vocal performance.

Saw 'em in Mobile, AL on Halloween, 1991 - 8 days before this show was filmed.
There is a reason that Steve is known as "the voice". He has perfect pitch. He is the real deal. I just saw them in concert. It was incredible! Steve hasn't been their lead singer for a long time now. Their lead singer is Arnel Pineda. He has been with them for 15 years now. He is an absolute beast of a singer. He sounds A LOT like Steve and deserves recognition as well. Great reaction! ❤

He doesn’t sound just like the recording …he sounds better 😜😁🎸😎❤️🔥 the only thing I don’t like about this is that he sings Houston instead of south Detroit 🙄 I’m from the Detroit area and they play this at every Red Wing hockey game and everyone goes a little nutty on that line 😅 great reaction ❤

Neil Schon, the lead axe player also played in other bands including Santana. I can identify a bit of that influence in his playing. Brilliant. H also does the whole rock image thing. Kudo's.

Yeah Mr Perry could definitely sing Lol. Their original singer Gregg Rolie and Steve Perry do a few songs training off lead vocals together. Worth a look see.
