Thank you!!! I have seen a lot of exposure triangle diagrams and read/watched a lot of articles on this subject. The diagram in this video is the first one I have seen that instantly makes sense, and your explanations are really clear. In 8 to 10 mins I was able to set my DLSR to manual focus and I actually understood what I was doing!
SAME
This is literally the best video I have watched on exposure triangle. Thank you it finally clicked for me.
This is the first video talking about exposure that has finally made sense to me. Excellent work, well done!
Very clear and precise. Never understood these three elements this way. This 9 min Video is a life saver. Thank you!
Excellent explanation. I've asked 3 different professional photographers and none if them explained it so concisely
I'm brand new to photography and this was so clearly explained, thank you - there is a minefield of information out there but most people speak way too quickly or deviate from the point. I will keep coming back to this video!
Watched it today again.. very well explained. Sometimes it's important to go back to the basics.
This video is by far the easiest (for me) explained and understood talk on the exposure triangle. I can now with confidence, go out and use the calculator i have in my brain to easily capture photos without having to delete in camera the captures that did not come out correctly. And, finally I can get off just Aperature Priority.....Thank You.
And me. I wish he had more videos with real-life examples.
The clearest explanation of the exposure triangle… ever! Thank you.
Thank you for making it so simple to understand , may God bless you.
Easy to understand the concept of Exposure triangle. this video help me a lot
Great explanation. “Photo-Geometry “ 👍👍👍
One of the best tutorial videos ever! I've only been an amateur photographer for 12 months and still struggle with the triangle but this video really helps. Thank you so much!!
Thanks so much! This is the best explanation and diagram I have seen to understand the exposure triangle. And, for each one there is a tradeoff. Increasing or decreasing light is the goal. But, trade off for shutter is "motion blur" or lack thereof, ISO is grainy texture, and aperture changes "depth of field" creating blurry background (low F stop) or clear background (high F stop).
This has got to be one of the best tutorials in photography. Some things have instantly made sense!Keep em coming.New sub.
THANK YOU!!! Finally a video that explains how to balance the 3 aspects of the triangle! Soooo helpful.
THANK YOU !!! I've a visual person so this was GOLD
Thankyou very much. Best video I've seen so far regarding this topic ❤❤
Amazing! At last: it all makes sense. Many, many thanks. Heading out with my Nikon D3000 now!

Best explanation about why we use triangle. Thanks
This video right here was more useful than all the hours of research. I’ve seen this triangle before but could’ve make sense of it. THANK YOU!!
Thank you so much for your kind words! :) I'm glad you find it useful.
This is fantastically explained, so easy to understand!Thank you so much for taking out the time to make this video! I look forward to watching more of your content! ✨.
This is the first time I realized if you change the aperature, you need to pay attention to shutter speed and ISO. I'm a beginner and it is starting to make sense. Thank you.
Thank you so much for a brilliant refresher. I did industrial photography 55 years ago with an old plate camera and have forgotten it all over the years. I'm just blowing off the dust of my DLSR and charging the batteries ready to play again.
Thank you very much for the explanation. After so many videos I found this and got clarity to my doubt.
Short and Sweet, well done sir !!!
Really good explanation, it’s one of the best videos I’ve watched. Thank you
Very simple and educative. You are great teacher. Keep it up.
A consise explanation with out metaphors, and using precise language, gave me a lightbulb moment ( I'm ASD) thank you
Thanks for the explanation, i shall keep watching this video until it sinks in and will be practicing more from now on!
This was a great explanation! I’m going to make a copy of your triangle and go out and try some shots
Wow when you flipped the board the example was literally insane !! I legit see the light now. Pun intended. Thank you so much for this! God Bless brother
I have been struggling with this for a while since getting my camera but this definitely nailed it for me.
Hurrah!!
I’ve finally found a channel that explains why I need to change settings, rather than just what I change them to, if this makes sense.
Thank you.
Subscribed. 👍🏻
Thank you so much! The is literally the best video I've seen so far.
This is the first video to make sense! Can you do cinematography videos?
Well presented. I’ve never seen a triangle used to represent the relationship between the settings.
The other device we can use is a neutral density filter, either all or nothing, or a variable one. Some cameras (like my old Canon G15) have one built in, or they can be bought separately and mounted on top of a lens, and can be rotated to adjust the density for the task in hand.
These can allow a reasonable mix of the 3 factors in strong light, e.g. So if I’m shooting at twice the frame rate, and a sensible aperture, I often use a neutral density filter.
Thanks my friend this was very much of help you've got a gift for teaching blessings happy new year
Very well said, I did get and understand that triangle lesson and thanks for your expertise and knowledge it is very much appreciated. You're a very good Photography instructor. Roy
Great explanation mate. I’m really trying to get my head around this and your video helped a lot.
I have been investigating film shooting, so I was confused about the ISO. Once the film is loaded, there is no changing of the ISO, it's the film sensitivity. So this explaination must be for digital photography. : )
Yeah, he should have specified that you can’t simply “change the ISO” with film. At least not in the middle of the roll!
explained in simple clear manner
Always grateful watching you...keep up the good work.
I liked the presentation as I have never looked at aperture, asa/iso and shutter speed in this manner. Really enjoyed it and reinforced my knowledge.
Yooo explaining it with triangles and their angles really helps . Thank you.🗿
🤯 you made learning this sooooo much easier to understand!! Thank you so so much!
Thank you very much, my dear!
Indeed this was one of the best explanations for my camera exposure question! Searching for more tips and lessons on the channel already! Cheers!
Thank you very much for the very clear explanation!
Thank you very much for this video, it's explaining very well. Now I understand how I can use these apertures, shutter speed and ISO.
I need more tutorials
You make me understand quick how to dealt with shutter speed, iso, and aperture
Thanks my bro
Thank you for explaining the concept in easy terms
Thanks a lot, today I start my photography journey but I believe all shall be well even though I don't know where I'll get my first camera but skills come first,,,be blessed.
I have spent HOURS today looking for a more in depth explanation of this ever since my professor did a terrible job of it in class and this is the first video that has made me understand so I really appreciate this video.

Now i understand a way better the difference and why. thanks so much
Thanks. Very clear explanation
Beautifully explained!
Best explaination I came across! Thanks so much for sharing
Great explanation 👍
The exposure triangle is a great visual, thanks for sharing. Would love to also see how it adds to 180 , so if you adjust the aperture how to make sure that secondary variables are set correctly
The exposure triangle graphic seems to have led to a generation of photographers not knowing the basics. It looks attractive but what people seem to understand from it is normally wrong.
Simple! As a novice, I feel I now have the control over my camera! Thank You. I do a lot of high altitude treks in the Himalayas and have been using Iphone....can you help me with a video tutorial on a) What kind of minimum lenses I should carry b) Photography basics for trekkers.....low light, snow etc...thank you in advance
Hi Natarajan! :) I'm glad you find our video useful. We have another one on capturing photos in low light, you can check it out here: ua-cam.com/video/SHHa1qm_17k/v-deo.html
Wonderful, like the way you taught
Great video thanks. What mode do you shoot in?
Nicely explained...thanks!!!
Thank you! What a nice video!!! Those triangles for visual representation of different scenarios really helped =)
Woooow this video is very explicit😊😊
Love it makes a lot of sence.
Then there us the 4th dimension. Nd filters
Thanks for this. I’m shooting video and trying to get a better quality shot. Still trying to wrap my head around this so will deff be revisiting!!
Thank you, very nice explanation for beginners
wooooo wonderfully explained... it was a nice refresher for me and learned something today. now i need to keep it mind onething at a time and adust either of other two accordingly... thank you very much
Great analogy withe the triangle thanks
Thanks a lot! That was amazing class
Beautifully explained! Thanks a lot
Great one, I have been struggling with this triangle
This makes so much sense
Thanks
Really helpful 🙇🙇
Really it understandable, I love it
He just make things complicated when explained about shutter speed.. The concept is there but the explaination is terrible. Shutter speed is not about light coming in, its about how fast u can capture a moving object an make it look static. 😂.. however, we could praised him for his concept in his short explaination.
thanks a lot .. how I know that the photo is not over exposed or less exposed ?? from where should I start on the scale ?? and if there,s a triangle why I dont put the camera on auto mode and let it do the work ??
Super helpful and clear explanation with great examples. Thx so much!
Thank you so much very well explained
Your channel was a delightful finding! Thank you for all the information !
Very helpful, thanks you ❤
