I salute 🫡
I was one of the marchers in the SAF day parade, in the Guards Formation. Though I was a late addition to the team.
Before the rehearsals at SAFTI MI, they were practice runs in my camp. I didn’t participate in those practice runs as back then, I wasn’t involved.
My first rehearsal was during my block leave, I was activated to replace someone in my contingent. I was quite pissed due to the last minute nature of it but what can I do? I had a crash course on the commands and actions in the morning and off I went to SAFTI MI for rehearsals.
After my first rehearsal, my SM told me that I’ll officially be part of the contingent and the rest is history.

Wow last time I was a 2x GOH and there isn’t water sprinkler to cool us down but we still made it thru the parade.
This parade honour same as trooping the colours parade like british and malaysian armed forces do every single year
