I remember when the first teaser came out in 2019, I got stoked for the intense presence with which it presented its main lead! #Dhaakad stars #KanganaRanaut in the lead role as Agent Agni, assigned a mission that makes her go from the heartland of India to Central Asia and Budapest! We don't judge Anurag kashyap for Metoo, Sanjay dutt for having contact with mafia or Salman for hit n run when we go to theatres but for a woman like Kangana who only speaks her mind our selective morality rises from the graveyard nd we all behave like a propoganda teacher and pretend to be an ideal one..thts intersting
I wonder if any of these criminals' statements have tried to polarise the nation. People don't seem to like her because she doesn't think before speaking (or bootlicking). Some of her statements are outright vapid and we need to stop hailing her as the Queen for speaking her mind out because all she's doing is trying to create a rift in the nation. Not to mention, she's also wasting a lot of money from taxpayers that can be used in development work instead of providing security to the so-called Queen.
Separating the art and the artist isn't easy when the artist stupid, toxic and lacks basic manners.

The teaser is promising. The cinematography & color utilization were great. But the movie won’t survive without a good story. Ritesh shah, the writer of Pink and Kahaani wrote the story. So I have high hope on Dhakaad

The fact that the makers named the protagonist "Agni" which means fire instead of some English name is enough for me to be excited for this film because it indicates the ingenuity & freshness of the story....

Before all these female empowerment movies of Bollywood we had Malashree in Kannada film industry. A true female hero who did both feminine and masculine roles. Top heroes of the Kannada industry were postponing their release dates because they feared to go 1v1 against Malshree at that time. The thing is they never intended to make a strong female lead, it was so organic and natural that people love her till date.

I was looking forward to this film ever since it's announcement. Looked really good IMO. It was visually really appealing to me and action seemed raw and hard which I love in action films. I hope we get more actresses to do more female-led action films.

Dear Anmol, while mentioning the convincing action heroines of Bollywood it was an injustice from your side not to mention Kangana's previous ventures like Krish 3 and the iconic Manikarnika. Those sequences were a refreshing coming from a Bollywood heroine and were so professionally done.

Since we are talking about Manikarnika , the only thing worth remembering about Deepika's portrayal of Mastani was the brilliance with which she did the sword fighting scenes . Hence , that can also be taken into consideration

What actually is the FACT here is that we were talking about action heroines here and not one odd action scene of actresses.
Deepika played a woman in love who lifted sword once to save his son, there werent much action. Aise to name Shilpa in dus, Shraddha in Baghi, Aish in Dhoom 2 and even Shruti Hasan in Luck as action heroines. They all had one scene each.
Sonakshi in Akira can be named as one

We should just accept she is a spy and fighting for a cause. I hope there's no sob story that her spy boyfriend was killed and she had to train herself to become a spy..
There are many points where i clearly disagree with Kangana but whenever i see here in this Dhakkad role i feel good that finally female character are the only lead in a movie rather than meaningless love interest to a protagonist.

Looks like a genuine attempt at a good action movie period! That's what is lacking in most female centric action movies.
You can say Avengers are dominated by man..but for me most powerful in marvel is Scarlett Witch....I am waiting for her in Dr strange 2..you can equally compare her with Thor or captain marvel..but Man I loved that scene when she stopped Thanos to save vision.

Akira was kinda cringe to me. Its treatment was like Murugadoss in the mid 2000s and I think it would have connected more with the masses with a better lead. Thought Sonakshi was miscast as the female lead.

The teaser is interesting for sure and by the looks of it, Kangana has literally sunk her teeth into her role. And am sure Kangana will nail it. I am not a huge fan of her offscreen antics but there is no denying she is one of the best actresses we have today.

Trailer and kangana is awesome, waiting for this one. You can dislike kangana but her acting is worth watching and enjoying. Every small nuance matters when it's about acting
Mardaani was a kick-ass film. The second part was rather dull in comparison.
A special mention should have gone out for particularly the sequence involving Katrina Kaif taking on the villains with the song Tera Noor as the BGM in Tiger Zinda hai was the best part about that film.
The acting was great and so was story but Rani fighting looked as if a potato is throwing kicks. She looked pathetic. You need to understanf that actions require lean body.

The action sequence seems good as per teaser goes, most action Flim in india are 13+ or 16+, even they've male character,I'm glad to see this movie with a female character, they go for 18+, the best part of the teaser has to be cinemetography and colour grading, seems fresh, I was not so excited for it, I didn't even know it was coming, till yesterday, when I see kanganas post, now I'm soo excited for it, looking forward for this movie,

Continues comparison of genders and putting a boys vs girls fight in between intentionally forcing us to believe the character is powerful spoils the mood . We know she is capable , hence we are watching the film . I mean honestly there was no need to show why shld boys have all the fun . It was cringe . I want see the action in the film , I want to see the female is strong by her character and nature , not trying to be strong to prove she is powerful than other gender 🤦🏻♂️ , why need to insert gender based dialogues .

You missed Akira (Sonakshi Sinha nicely portrayed the character for story), Resident Evil series (Action sequence done by Mila Jovovich are superb if kept story, content & logic apart)

The teaser was definitely very exciting. It somehow reminded me more of Salt & Atomic Blonde than Red Sparrow. As much as I have come to dislike Kangana recently because of her political views, I still admire her as an actor and hope to see the old Kangana in the media too who simply honest and someone who bravely stood up for herself instead of creating unnecessary controversies.
