I think it makes so much sense for Kong to have this "Hollow Earth energy" inside him that he doesn't realise he has. Even in the promotional GvK film artwork. Kong has a red glow around him, the axe has a red glow when held up by Kong the first time. I think that if he does finally get to utilise this power, it will be a red coloured energy. This could be enhancement to his melee capabilities such as making his punches incredibly powerful, his healing/regeneration, and his overall strength could be unrivalled by his fellow Titans.
Another possibility is that this new Kaiju has probably weaponized body parts from his kills, like collecting dorsal plates from Godzilla’s ancestors , similar to Kong’s axe. A shield made out of Godzilla’s dorsal plates could be used to protect himself from atomic breath. A spear could also be used to absorb the atomic breath, and then throw the charged up spear into Godzilla’s flesh. He could even make armor out of these scales if he wanted to.

I think I read somewhere, that someone who was close to a bunch of guys working in Legendary studios said, Red is a much older, significantly stronger titan who used to hunt other titans just for sports. He lay dormant for many years. However these recent clash between titans has woken him up. He is what you call like the predator from the predator series. He hunts only for fun!
It would have been hella funny if Godzilla had gotten ahold of Scar King himself instead of just his whip. I do like how Godzilla commanded Shimo to freeze Scar King and then let Kong have the kill. He knew if Kong was going to be the new ape population's alpha, that he had to assert his dominance. It's pretty cool that he understood the assignment so thoroughly...just run interference for Kong on Shimo and let Kong have Scar King..
I would like to say that since the Kong species do have a tribal aspect to them it wouldn’t be hard to say that maybe Orangukong might or might not be a prisoner of the Kong’s because of the hollow earth energy made it more powerful, powerful enough to fight many of the hollow earth monsters that pose a challenge or threat to the Kong’s and rose in the ranks and became a leader to the Kong’s but probably became to hungry for power and attacked the other Kong’s so they imprisoned it somewhere in the hollow earth temple and gave monsters from the hollow earth to entertain it while it was trapped.
Give it a rest, man. Nobody expected that Skar King would be as wasted as it was in the film, remembering that the film is not bad but the villain Skar King could have been better used.
When there was the mention of Long potentially learning to absorb the Hollow Earth energy, I was thinking perhaps that Godzilla would make use of the Hollow Earth energy as well, potentially as a means of introducing the Spiral Heat Ray and its variations.
We also might have to consider the option that if this takes place over a period of time, Kong will absorb the radiation from the hollow earth and get stronger from that and if given a crisis situation, could potentially allow him to unlock hidden powers, possibly even lightning like in the original Kong vs Godzilla
How much time? Many old cast is back , this suggest Kong aint getting zapping power in this movie , however if the plot becomes goofy ,we cant ignore the possibility.
Also with the mind game part, kong might be mad if this new Kaiju kills or hurts gina, but he might be smart enough to realize that since "the big one" tried to use the same mind games on him years ago he might try to calm himself down and think appropriately.
I'm still on the boat that this guy is going to be a twist Ally I personally think that this guy is a both an emperor and a warden He's going to start off as the villain as he tries to use his forces to hunt down and stop Godzilla and Kong from waking up an ancient evil Then of course Midway through the film it gets revealed that he was just trying to protect the planet some something Godzilla I'm calling woke up in the last film Then Godzilla Kong emperor Kong and emperor Kongs army have to work together to defeat a SpaceGodzilla like threat This would of course end up in the sacrifice of emperor Kong making our kong from King Kong to emperor kong having to lead his whole species now This is mostly because I think that they revealed emperor Kong too early for there not to be some sort of catch
We have yet to see something like a Jormungandr. Imagine at the core of the world there is a sleeping world serpent. All the combat and all the alpha calls are making it stir and so this ancient kong is gonna try to put down Godzilla and Kong to keep them from waking it. Because once it wakes the Earth will shutter and quake as it comes to the surface bathed in molten lava and perhaps possessing insane powers of its own.
Sounds like a typical Hollywood film. Godzilla and Kong will fight Orangakong, then something else shows up at the end then they team up to fight destroyah or onaga. Orangakong may or may not die. I don't think the writers are smart enough to make Orangakong more interesting other than being a side villain.
Considering that the name of the new movie is 'the new empire', orangukong may be an emporor, and a ruler doesn't just go into combat by themselves. He probably has an army, or maybe a monster that is far more powerful than he himself is, but is being controlled by orangukong
I just picture this "orangukong" keeping a muto prime somewhere and that would also explain why the queen muto hasn’t developed into another muto prime
@@theliam3786 or it could be destroyah but then again i feel if they use destroyah that will be the last monster verse film with godzilla as a main character or in it at all
@@ghostofspartakratos-bv9jz This will probably be a introduction to the hollow earthers similar to the aliens in past films that used psychic powers and machines to control monsters, instead of them being aliens though it will be a offshoot of humans or and ancestor that that evolved in the hollow earth alongside the creatures there. They could probably infiltrate the governments and monarch as well if they have a camouflage or mind control/ mind manipulation abilities as well. Or this could be the introduction to another hive mind monster that needs new hosts when the previous one is starting to die purposefully targeting alpha titans.
My theory on this is that the Orangakong species is the ruler cast and the gorillakong specie is part of the slave/worker cast. The Reason gorillakongs are on skull island is because they escape the orangakong during the war with the zilla species. Gorilla kongs are smart but not as smart as the orangakongs which in turn caused them to lose against the creepy crawlies on skull island and nearing extinction. Orangakong was probably hibernating in hollow earth during the masacre of the orangakongs/gorillakongs and only woke up after Kong started thrashing about in hollow earth, orangakong now wants to reclaim the throne in hollow earth for his own and rule again.
Even though he's a villain. I do hope orangu-kong doesn't get killed in this movie. We could leanr alot about the lore if he survives a few more movies.
I’m getting a distinct ‘Thanos’ vibe from this guy. I suspect he may have been hunting Kong (or Godzilla) for a while. Maybe he sent other Kaiju after his target. Infuriated by their collective failure and the newfound respect between Godzilla & Kong, he gets up and says ‘Fine, I’ll do it myself…’
a glowing eye color doesn't necessarily mean "being controlled or guided" it could also mean being empowered by some force or in the process of using their own abilities. so you should phrase that as "this glow could mean a number of things, but we believe that they are being controlled."
8:39 Coming back here for a rewatch after the Trailer drop yesterday, I just had an incredible epiphany. What if Skar King isn’t being controlled by another or doing the bidding of another bigger Titan but in fact has formed an alliance with said Titan? In the 2014 movie Hercules, the villain of that movie said “Kingdoms are won with armies but empires are made by alliances”, this made me think that maybe this Skar King has allied himself with another, stronger Titan, perhaps even Shimu if I recall correctly the rumors going around the community. Either way, my point is this title, ‘The New Empire’ may be implying one of two things: one, Skar King has his empire because he’s allied himself with another Titan to rule over a large portion of Hollow Earth and now both seek to rule over the surface World or two, it’s setting up Godzilla and Kong’s newly formed alliance to take down this new threat to both the surface World and Hollow Earth.
I think what would make this new Orangukong a lot more frightening is if it is able to fight like a human martial artist or warrior with similarly refined and precise movements.
Dude, I actually want this thing to lay traps out there for Kong and Godzilla. That would be utterly ludicrous, and really sell its intelligence and danger factor. Honestly, while the dynamic between him and Kong seems really interesting, and idk if I'm being biased, but I kinda wanna see his dynamic with Godzilla more. It's far more likely this thing has killed at least a fair share of Godzilla's species, versus Kong's since it's speculated "Orangukong" is a part of Kong's family, so the idea that Godzilla gets to clash with something that, depending on its presumably ancient age, killed a great deal of his family, to the point where he's possibly the last of his kind, would be SO cool. I mean, Kong was the defacto main character of the first GvK, so let's let the G-Man get his fair share of attention this time around.
I'm the complete opposite. Wanna see a Kong out Kong the Kong is interesting to Me. Not looking forward to seeing Godzills getting a mechaG type beating again
I'm pretty sure Kong is still gonna continue to be the mc in this movie too. They might even kill off Godzilla, if that happens, I'm done watching the monsterverse movies.
@@kingkold fax, I really don't know why they're favouring Kong more than godzilla when it should be equal. Smh, I just hope they don't do ma boy wrong.
@@sxd9573 I think it's all bias because, if I'm not mistaken, Legendary Pictures is a branch of Warner, who own the rights to Kong. So naturally, they're gonna be biased toward the guy that they directly own, versus the guy they acquired the rights to. And that does make me nervous for Goji, but here're my two cents. I don't think - or at least hope - that they don't kill Godzilla, because it seems like they've really tried to treat him fairly, KOTM being a prime example of that. So, I think he should still be fine. What's ironic is I saw another comment from someone saying that they worry Kong will be treated like Godzilla's sidekick, which, if Kong keeps getting all the attention like he did in the first movie, Godzilla would become the sidekick; which again, is why I hope that Goji gets a suitable arc in GxK. Though I do respect them both and hope they get equal focus, but Kong was definitely the main in GvK, so it'd only be fair if Godzilla got more of the focus in GxK.
What if perhaps the eyes are representative of a hierarchy similar to how werewolves are represented in some lore as having different color eyes for beta, omega, and alpha. Perhaps the Kong species is able to tap into the energy that we’ve seen in the hidden world, and the one that is the alpha has the strongest control/amount of said energy. I haven’t seen this poster, but someone mentioned that in the original promo for Godzilla versus Kong Kong had red eyes, and that would be even more reason to believe the eyes represent a hierarchy system in place.
I already love this titan so much he's got so much potential and his design looks flawless so far And as a hunter, I just love the idea of perhaps getting to see an experience titan toy around and hunt down the current alphas He's already my favorite titan
Same but seriously I pray they don't do him dirty or kill him off in the movie like king ghidorah or the mutos *but we still have the queen* but seriously I understand we watch these movies for plot, story, fight scenes and the scenes that make us all be like that was sad 😥 But honestly I'm kinda tired of seeing the big bad villains just die out in the movies but that's really just my opinion really they had a good chance to bring mecha king ghidorah to the monsterverse but I'm dam glad we got to see mecha G.
Usually modern movies trailers always get to hype the fans out before the movie come out. But once the movie comes out and fans watch it, only results of fans dissapointment.. That's why most modern movies sux now, this one could sukc too
If the new Orangakong set up a trap and if we saw a famous titan such as (just an example) the Behemoth get snared in one, then suddenly you just hear distant running and you just see the Behemoth terrified then boom suddenly its gone. And the orangakong uses the Behemoth as a warning towards the other kaijus, specifically the Gman and Kong, that theirs another contender around.
Let's also not forget that this guy probably has an escape plan. If this monster really is a hunter, we need to remember that any hunter worth his salt is going to be prepared for any occasion that comes up. Hunters know that Mother Nature is real trouble on a good day, so when this monster loses the advantage, he may just retreat to come back at a different angle.
I think we are looking at a combination of the planned creature from the cancelled Kong vs Prometheus/Frankenstien and the ability Kong temporarily got with electricity in the original Godzilla vs Kong.
I really loved how you had lions in the video, they're my favorite animal, wanna know something abit interesting about them? The reason why lions can have such loud, deep and robust roars is due to their unusually long larynx (voice box) Theres is as thick as a human hand in terms of width, and their vocal folds are up to a inch in thickness and up to 2 inches in diameter, what makes theres unique is that theres is covered in a fatty tissue that allows their roars to be further amplified aswell which is very resistant to shearing and tearing, The vocal folds (the parts which vibrate to generate sound) is also in a Square shape, while most mammals (including us) have theres in a Triangular shape so it makes their vocal folds very responsive to air flow which makes them able to roar without exerting too much effort on their lungs, But their vocal anatomy goes even further, their larynx and windpipe have special string-like muscles called "strap muscles" which control the contraction and retraction of their larynx which is how they control the pitch of their roars, being able to contract their voice box half-way into their rib-cage, this ability to contract their so deep allows their voice to very deep and thunderous, creating a natural "reverb" effect in their throat, functioning similar to a trombone trumpet A thing lions and humans share in common is that both lions and humans have their larynx placed deeper down their throat which is part of the reason why humans can talk and that lions and humans have a very similar noise frequency, experiments with human infants and lions show that infants share the same characteristic as lions do which is fatty tissue on their vocal folds, which is why a baby's cry is so loud and grating. This is why a cat's meowing will get your attention as their meow sounds similar to a baby crying, while lions basically sound like babys with very deep voices.
To me, when Kong raised the ask for the first time, it wasn’t much of a glow rather it was due to a small radiance of light bouncing off the handle of the axe from the flames within the cave.
What if the “higher power” referenced is exerting control over the evil kong by controlling how much energy it has. It forces it to do its bidding by taking its energy when it disobeys. Maybe this isn’t what happens, but I think the higher power could give the evil kong power boosts, making it more and more formidable.
What if Orangukong has a type of mind control ability, but not in the hypnosis way but more like hunger or an addiction. Perhaps the Orangukong has a tool or ability that fuels it up with the hollow earth energy that the others want. This could make him a general that commands an army that feeds the other titans the hollow earth energy as a reward.
I like to call him Titanus Wukong because of the mythical names monarch likes to give their titans, and how closely related to Kong this guy seems to be, and the story for the monkey king would definitely make for a deadly enemy for Godzilla 🐵 👑
The so terrifying and skilled Titan Hunter Orangukong, successfully killing Kongs and Gojiras and so many other creatures, ended up having only Shimo to survive
Seems like this "Evil" Kong will have all of the same attributes as Kong himself but will also have the advantage of the same power source that powers Godzilla. I say this because he has the blue eyes like Godzilla does. Seems like he will be scary AF😂
that is a good idea. Armor made from gojira bone that can absorb g-man atomic ray similiar to kong's axe rendering the distance advantage moot, then with the longer reach and agility it can keep the g man and kong out of reach in close combat with each punch being like they got hit with a taser. It probably knows tatics and uses gureilla warefare against them. I wouldn't be suprise if the movie starts off with Kong getting his butt kicked and bowing down to it, and as he move ups to fight the g-man his powers causes storms similiar to Ghidorah and destroying cities and terra forming the surface to the same hollow earth environment and that cuases it to trigger Kongs' trauma of not being able to save Jia's people when skull island got hit by a storm pushing him to rebel against orangu-kong free g-man from a net like trap make from gojira bone and they both team up to fight him with kong using tools to remove his armor so g-man can blast him with his rays. Also he has a pack of mini muto lead by a queen to hunt/wear down g-man, and it is revealed that kong's family got hunted/driven out becuase the skull crawlers attacking them was being controlled by orangu-kong and is lead by a big one.
it's quite fun to come back to these old Scarking videos when we didn't know as much, seeing the differences between then and now like the spear vs wipslash and the hunter vs king speculations
Skar king should've been like how this video described but he was actually just a b*tch who relied on Shimo to save him from Kong and Godzilla he wasn't a threat at all
@TheJaguarGod more bulky is not what he needed to be he was ok the way he was but they should've made his character better and not a coward that relied on another titan to fight his battles
Tbh, with the "Mind Games" theory, you just gave me a whole entire new concept. I know this is most likely not gonna happen but it's fun to share it anyway. What if "Orangukong" manipulates Kong and Godzilla? Hear me out, what if he goes to Kong or something then pulls out a skeleton or a skull of another Kong that he killed I'm the past? Now, what if he manipulates Kong and says that Godzilla is the real threat and makes Kong attack him. He could also do the same with Godzilla too, though I personally think that he will most likely go for Kong first to help weaken Godzilla, as he will probably see that Godzilla is a bit more tougher then his past foes. I think this will also trigger the "Friend Fight" of the movie, so yeah.
Y'all may have already mentioned this somewhere else but if not then there is the distinct possibility that Orangakong made the axe. Add that onto your video about how the axe might have been used by multiple kongs and baby, you got a stew goin.
I see it like this. They say Kong bows to NO ONE. Now what if, he BOWS to this new one? How would that effect Godzilla? The scenario that plays in my head, is that they come across this creature and during the battle kong bows.
I know the Orangukong would probably be some sort of Doomsday for the monsterverse, but I can't help but to feel that both Mechagodzilla and King Ghidorah were used to early.
I feel like the new Titan is not the enemy, but there is a 4th much more dangerous titan on the horizon. I also predict the 3 would work together to kill this greater threat, but this is my opinion.
I genuinely feel like this new kong is gonna to be so intelligent that he will be able to use military tactics and guerrilla warfare against other titans. Maybe even be able to actually speak
I may have a theory on this one and that Kong could actually be a survivor of the War and it learned how to kill Godzilla species specially our Godzilla. As for its power, I also had a theory that it ate the flesh of the Zillas that it killed and with exposure to the Hollow Earth as well, its power also mutated to the point that it can hide from the detection of Godzilla and Kong. Just waiting for perfect it to strike down. I also think that the 1st ones who's going to fight are these two and as Kong's about to fall, Godzilla suddenly arrives to his aid this time and of course Kong and Godzilla would have to team up yet again.

I personally think that this guy is a both an emperor and a warden

Then of course Midway through the film it gets revealed that he was just trying to protect the planet some something Godzilla I'm calling woke up in the last film
Then Godzilla Kong emperor Kong and emperor Kongs army have to work together to defeat a SpaceGodzilla like threat
This would of course end up in the sacrifice of emperor Kong making our kong from King Kong to emperor kong having to lead his whole species now
This is mostly because I think that they revealed emperor Kong too early for there not to be some sort of catch
We have yet to see something like a Jormungandr. Imagine at the core of the world there is a sleeping world serpent. All the combat and all the alpha calls are making it stir and so this ancient kong is gonna try to put down Godzilla and Kong to keep them from waking it.

@sxd9573 exactly why I don't trust Wingard.

It forces it to do its bidding by taking its energy when it disobeys. that is a good idea.
