    Holy crap FINALLY a guide on how to set the auto-lock feature. My new home came with this damn thing but my useless ass home builder didn't leave the instructions on how to operate it. After looking it up online, not a single manual referenced how to use the auto-lock feature. The paper you show at 17:30 was EXACTLY what I needed. Thank you so much!

    I dont have the hub yet and the builder didnt give us the instructions :/. Is there a way to program the code without the hub and app

      hi Kim, if I recall you can set codes from the keypad. you should be able to download the instructions from their website on how to do it.
      curious which hub you plan to get. we use SmartThings and they have a function that lets you set lock codes.

    Do you have a hub that allows you to pair Smart Things app with the Kwikset 620 lock? I keep getting an error that says, "You need a hub to connect this device"

      zwave devices need a hub. we use the SmartThings hub. Aeotec makes the hubs for SmartThings. there are other zwave hubs that will work as well.

    Thanks for the video! I had my locks installed as a part of my home security package and cannot seem to pair them to smartthings, even after purchasing a hub. I ended up returning the hub and may try a different brand in the future. The main reason I want to use smartthings is because the 620 model doesn’t seem to have a master code and I would want to know if any other codes were manually programmed. Have you manually entered any codes? If so, do manually entered codes appear in smartthings?

      The secret for SmartThings is you need to go to the SmartThings app LIFE tab. At the bottom is Smart Lock Guest Access. It will ask you to install that function, do so and you should see your lock or be asked to add it.
      As for manually entering codes we havent tested to see if the app will let you see them.
      Let us know how it works.

    Very informative video, thank you! Can you confirm what Hub you are using with Smarthings to control the Home Connect 620 lock?

    One review said you can't remove individual codes. Is that correct? They said you have to delete all codes

      @Appmyhome  2 роки тому

      Hi, just checked our SmartThings app and we can delete individual lock codes. There is lock control in the Life tab, you just select Smart Lock Guest Access, then Locks/Lock Codes. Select the user you want to delete and then Delete.

    Hello, what application do I have to download to use on my phone?

    • @Appmyhome
      @Appmyhome  2 роки тому

      we used SmartThings. basically you’ll need a zwave hub to use this. there are several other zwave hub makers. btw if you don’t want the smart functions you can manually add codes.

    Can I connect to my ring app

    • @Appmyhome
      @Appmyhome  Рік тому

      the ring app would need to support zwave via some type of hub or integration. so not likely though worth checking with ring.
